Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Nashville Airport

My flight arrived at 2:30pm. The airport shuttle didn't arrive until after 4pm. There is no airport shuttle between 11:00am-4:00pm for this hotel.

We would certainly stay here again due to the hotel being clean, up to date, and the breakfast very good. We gave a 3-star rating for service because the airport shuttle does not run from 11am-4pm (surprise!) and a cab/carrier service for a 2-minute ride from the airport at noon was $29! Likewise, we had to take a Lyft back upon departure at 3:30am because the shuttle runs from 4am-11am (not a huge surprise and the fare was less). The hotel should add the shuttle times to its amenities description.

Vandalism occurred overnight on the property. I had to check out one day early.

Spa was filthy. Out shuttle to the airport was 20min late. Room was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was good. We took an Uber everywhere so could not comment on parking.

Spent the weekend there and my truck along with other vehicles got broken into. Parking in the back of the building

Kind and friendly staff, hot tub jets were broken.

I decided to stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by the Nashville Airport because they had an airport shuttle. BUT the shuttle only runs certain hours and unfortunately it was not running when my flight arrived (11:30 AM). (I had called the day before to confirm that the shuttle was running at the time of my arrival and to get instructions on how to meet the shuttle. No one informed me that the shuttle was not running. Wasted time and money (uber)).

Clean room, great continental breakfast, hot tub was wonderful, and the staff was awesome! Would definitely stay again.

Front desk was friendly but a bit disorganized. I had extended my stay. I wasn’t asked to swipe my card again but then another person said I had to which was fine but then I got someone wake me up the next day to ask when I was checking out. My room was only servuced 2x during my week long stay. The phone didn’t work. Front desk couldn’t hear me when I would talk. AC didn’t work. My car was broken into in addition to 3-4 other cars. A Hispanic worker did offer the vacuum which was nice of him but front desk didn’t initiate any communication or show concern.

There was a musty smell in the room and the carpet felt damp. I thought it might have been closed for awhile. Still musty in the morning. It didnt improve overnight, like i thought it might. Will be mpre careful in room selection next time. 1st floor rooms seem to not get used as much.

Upon arrival I was given a room with a dirty toilet, trash not emptied, and floor not vacuumed. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice and accommodating. I was given another room. I did see a roach on the wall, however, once. You can hear the planes but it’s not horrible. It’s not too far from several food establishments.

The bathroom floors were extremely dirty and a couple of towels were not clean. Also pillow case had makeup on it and I don’t wear makeup. Asked for clean sheets and pillows. It didn’t happen. The front desk clerk when we checked in was really nice though.

Parking was great, location was great, entry way floor was kind of dirty and just got worse as the weekend continued.

Had to be switched rooms because rooms smelled like mildew.

When we got in late from our event, I went to take a shower, there was a dirt washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rod. The next morning I informed the front desk. Upon return at lunch time they came in and took my towel and washcloth, but left the old dirty one still on the curtain rod. I informed them again on my way back out. When we returned that evening it was still there.

I have had enjoyable experiences with Fairfield Inn properties. Nice spacious, comfortable rooms. Bathrooms have been clean and updated. Parking has been easy.

CLEAN ROOM, GREAT BREAKFAST

The staff were friendly, helpful. Coffee in lobby was good. We enjoyed the large size of the room. The mattress was a bit too hard for me. The worst thing was when I was taking a shower and washing my face when immediately I realized there was a hair, approximately 9 inches long in my washcloth, yuck! I have a pixie cut and blinde hair so the hair in my face was disgusting. If this hadn't happened i would give the hotel a 9.

Comfy bed but you can hear some airplane noise but it didnt disrupt my sleep.

Possibly some of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. Very uncomfortable and woke up with terrible back pain. Other than that property was fairly average but the night staff was very kind.

We switched rooms 3 times because we requested a feather free room. The TVs didn’t work in all 3 rooms. Huge disappointment.

It was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

The hotel is fairly new, and everything felt fresh and the design was nice. I really liked the room. The staff was nice and everything was easy. My only complaints are about the in room fridge and coffee service. The fridge would not stay cold. And the outlet where the coffee maker was located, didn’t work. So I had to move the coffee maker to the nightstand to plug it in. And the things for the coffee service were not great. The only creamer was a chunky powder.

Great property and location. Only problem was the noise the air conditioner ducting made.

The room was a a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast was great! My daughter especially loved the dairy free milk. The only downfall is that the hotel is right below the path of the airplanes taking off and landing at Nashville International Airport so you can hear the planes at 11 pm and again at 5:00 am. It's probably not a big deal for people who get up early but I probably would not stay here again only because of the noise from the planes. Everything else was fantastic!

The room I had, #314, was awesome! I did not remember booking a king suite, so I was pleasantly surprised! The room was huge and had a large bathroom, king bed with huge TV, and a sitting area with another huge TV and pullout sofa bed. I didn't use that bed part, but the couch was very comfortable. The king bed was soooo great! Bedding very warm and cozy, too. The hotel has a great breakfast, very good airport shuttle, and large rectangular shaped hot tub/ whirlpool. That felt really great after a long day of traveling! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, everyone that I spoke with! I had issues with my luggage at the airport as all of it did not arrive on my flight and the hotel shuttle service made it super easy for me to go back and forth to get it when it arrived later. I was beyond impressed with this hotel stay!

The mattress and pull put mattress were horrible and extremely low quality! we checked out a day early because of the poor sleep.

Isaac and Mehari were AMAZING!!!! They were super friendly and helpful. Mehari was very knowledgeable about some parks and activities we wanted to explore. The hotel was comfortable, good breakfast, felt safe, good parking, clean spaces and close to downtown and Opry area. I will definitely book again!!!

After leaving at 9am and coming back after 10pm my room remained undone, after going to the front desk to make a complaint, all they thought appropriate was to give me a set of towels…. Paid for 2 nights, and basically only used 1 as I left at 4am the next day, and as they never used housekeeping resources on our room they got a free night…. I certainly hope it is not their new normal, as a Bonvoy member it felt bad.

I requested a late checkout. Housekeeper burst in my room while I was naked and still had 10 minutes remaining before scheduled to leave. Went down to the front desk and the agent laughed as I told her about my encounter. Nice hotel but their staff is horrible

Breakfast lady was fantastic! Worked hard to keep area clean & food stocked. We came down within the last hour & there was food well stocked. A VERY HARD worker & attentive to cleanliness. Front desk staff was non-existent from checking-in to checkout & several times in between. Visited front desk 5 times & there were 1-2 people waiting in front of me each time with disgust on their faces. However we could all hear the staff talking behind the wall. No bell to ring for service, no window for them to observe the front desk, no employee at desk. Could not find any info on pool or breakfast times, locations of ice machines! Went through every “hotel information” listed on TV - nothing. This is the first hotel I’ve been in that had “no” info about the hotel in room. (I’m 71 yo) Called front desk & asked where ice was. She said first room left of elevator. It was across from elevator left- 3rd room on right. I’ve been in $79 hotel locations that had 200% better customer service and friendly visible staff. A hotel with rates from $250 - $600+ a night should have excellent service and sufficient staff (more than 1?) The entrance had 3 hotel vehicles parked (hotel signs in car windows) under the awning every time we entered / exited, so guests didn’t have a place to park to check-in. Same 2 cars were parked in the single pass through on edge of awning, so no way to drive through. Room was nice & clean. Would NOT recommend this hotel because of cost & no service.

Everything was lovely, and Ida was FANTASTIC! She made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door!

The woman who checked us in on Sept 27, 2025 at 4:00pm was the rudest front desk person I’ve ever encountered. I had 5 rooms booked for various employees and she gave me so much attitude and was so incredibly belittling for no reason at all. Her attitude ruined my day. I have no idea why she was acting that way. I had to tap my card for each room but for the last room it said slide. So I asked her why and she looked at me like I was an absolute idiot. I asked because I wanted to make sure she was charging it as a credit and not a debit since it was a business expense. After that I asked her about a crib. I had called 2 weeks beforehand to request a crib, and when I asked again she said she heard me and that she was getting to it. Then when I got in the room there was no crib. So I went back down there to ask again. Then I asked her what her name is and she said that I didn’t need to know that. All the other employees were incredibly courteous and helpful. She seemed to hate her job and it very much showed. What an awful experience. If she hates people she should work back of house.

The crew was very hospitable and the room was very clean, I would definitely stay there again.

My tv didn't work and staff moved me without question and gave a nice voucher as we didn't have tv access for the night

This is our first time in this hotel, and we really enjoyed the stay. The location is great and quiet, and the hotel is very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you need. The beds are comfortable. The free breakfast is fantastic, which includes a lot of variety. The reception staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful, the service is outstanding. We were allowed an early check-in; due to the time we arrived. We loved that! Without hesitation we highly recommend this beautiful and affordable hotel when you visit Nashville. The location is perfect, which makes travelling around the city very convenient. It’s about 15-20 minutes from downtown Nashville and 5 minutes from the airport. The hotel has a shuttle, and they dropped us at the airport when we left. Thank you!

The room was clean and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given the hotel was full. This hotel is an easy drive to the airport, and you will hear some noise from the planes, but it wasn't disruptive at all. The front desk staff on the night and morning shifts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical selections, but my only request would be to also offer half and half singles for coffee.

This is our go to hotel when we stay in Nashville. Much more affordable than downtown and still only a $15 uber ride to the downtown fun zone.

2nd time staying here, we LOVE this hotel. Best staff!!! Quiet place, very clean, comfortable, and great breakfast options! Great location near the airport. We will definitely be back!

Great hotel, comfortable bed, clean, very friendly staff. A quick 10 min trip to broadway and downtown. The airplane noise wasn’t bad.

You have to schedule the airport shuttle but that doesn’t mean they arrive on time. Ours was about 20 mins late. Breakfast was marginal but at least it was free.

Enjoyed our stay. Food was good and nice variety. Staff very friendly. Cleanliness could have been better but it was good.
