Me and my girlfriend stayed at the Residents Inn for 3 nights. The goods: very clean, rooms are nice, pool and gym, decently quiet, great amenities, good services, inhouse bar, room service available from 2 different restaurants, decent breakfast, decent views, clean for a city area, pretty much everything is withing walking, cute little ducks on the sidewalks on every blocks, my girlfriend try to sit on them and take pics The bad: little pricy, only valet parking(extra cost $14-$19 per night depending on car size. parking on the street(meter) or parking garage if valet is full, breakfast ends at 9am during the week and 9:30am on the weekends, have to walk next door to the mariot to access the pool and the gym, pool and gym a little small, a little city noise at night(not terrible though), this is not directly at this hotel but smokers smoking in the pathway or by the entrances and exits especially cigars, should be a smokers corner

Beautiful room. Spacious. We did arrive to dirty dishes in the dishwasher but otherwise room was very clean. Valet was a problem. We were told to give 20 minutes to pick up our car from when we texted for it but ended up waiting over 40 and arrived at our next engagement late because of it.

The hotel is in pretty good condition and located right in the heart of downtown Stamford. There are plenty of great dining options in walking distance and there is a Target a few blocks away which is oh so convenient. The room was pretty clean but the bathroom definitely needed an extra wipe down (there was some hair and dust on the door and in the shower area). The free breakfast was small but good. The pool was tiny and in another building. Overall, this was a good hotel to stay in with kids because the room was spacious and the location was so convenient. Would recommend.

Overall what you would expect from Marriott except housekeeping needs some work. Two coffee mugs were visibly spoiled and body wash was completely empty. The sign in the lobby says they sell Starbucks but I tried to get some at both 6:30am & 6:30pm and it wasn’t available either time. They should put mini keurigs in the rooms so guests can bring their own pods, the room coffee was pretty awful.

Original rm 502 the bed was horrible. But Ms. Rochelle really took care of us. She got us a new room and was so courteous and professional. I noticed that she was the same with multiple customers. Really made our stay much more comfortable. She's a real pro. Great location, easy to catch train to NYC. Great food nearby as well.

The hotel is in very nice condition and the perfect place for an extended stay! The kitchenette has everything needed, and the access to so many restaurants within walking distance is perfect. The Divina restaurant in the adjoining Courtyard Marriott has a nice bar and tasty restaurant.

I overpaid for the fact I believed there to be an indoor pool that my son could use while I went to appointments. Upon check in, the clerk said she thought it was closed. A great example of the apathy that runs rampant in the service industry. She thought they were doing renovations. Ok. Mediocre breakfast. Everything straight up average.

This was my second time staying here and was worst than the first. The front desk and customer service is horrible! They do not speak, just stare, and laugh and talk amongst each other. Very unfriendly. The cleaning ladies are very rude. They did not vaccum the room nor put the trash bins back in place the first night. At check in I requested the room be cleaned every night. The next day, the young woman at the front desk did not speak and had an attitude. The only thing she asked me is what room number and I'm standing there asking is everything good to go? She could of said I'm all set or have a great day. Nothing. Just mean. The next day I found out they clean every other night and had to request to get at least clean towels and wash clothes. The first time they cleaned around 4:30 PM. On the last day of checkout, the cleaning crew attempted to open the door twice without announcement to which I kept saying occupied. I still had over 3 hours until checkout! I have gotten better service at cheaper hotels. I decided to give them another try, but will never stay here again. Do not waste your hard earned money to be treated with disrespect.

This is my go-to hotel when I'm in Stamford, CT. Target is close by if I need anything. Front desk staff is so nice, so helpful, from where to eat to bus routes to taxi service. I plan to come back just to get away and relax one day soon.

Other than an initial challenge finding the valet parking entrance our stay was first rate; Will definitely stay there again if we are back visiting Stamford area. Noticed a ton of great restaurants in the area as well - so will maybe plan more time to be able visit some of them.

Nice, clean and spacious rooms! The neighborhood is safe and not to loud or crowded. Plenty of restaurants or bars near by within 1-2 blocks. You don’t need a car, very walkable area. My only disappointment was room service! There’s a room service menu in your room that no longer exist. So be sure to eat before going to your room because you can’t order anything!

Newer property, so in good shape. The breakfast is a joke (eggs and sausage, or rubber egg and sausage bagel). Construction on the road to the valet (temporary), the room was not cleaned well and the heat would not change the temperature of the room.

If you're a platinum or titanium Marriott member, this hotel will not honor your benefits if you book through a third party, but the Courtyard next door will. Breakfast food runs out, and it's awful anyway. Housekeeping has to be requested, usually multiple times daily to get it done. The shelves, refrigerator and freezer areas of the market are always bare, no yogurt, no power bars, and just empty, same at the Courtyard. Breakfast hours should be extended on weekends. The one place to eat is the tequila bar, which doesn't serve on Sunday. Please fix this property.
