Booked Queen w ensuite. Clean, comfortable and convenient for visiting my family in Nepean. Wifi and tv were good. Parking in driveway and on adjacent street was easy. Would stay again.

Quiet area with parking close by. Very clean house with all necessary utilities included. Large kitchen and den with a large sofa. Not too far from a big shopping district with lots of choice for food and anything else you might need. I fully recommend this location.

Great experience! Interesting setup with the shared kitchen etc...you get to meet people coming and going if you spend time on the main floor. Manny puts personal attention into the house and his guests, and is *very* helpful and friendly. Our specific space in the basement was roomy and the AC was cranked nice and low, bed was comfy, great lighting, heated bathroom mirror... *but* the folding couch is at the end of its life and in its current state I'd suggest it being a space for only 2 to sleep. We used the BBQ and ate in the afternoon sun on the back patio, Set up the laptop on the *amazing* leather couch in the living room to do some work, we cooked multiple meals and all the guests were respectful of our foodstuffs. Plenty of coffee to go around, water cooler in the dining room, easy check in, grocery stores/mall a couple minutes drive away, about 30 minute drive from downtown. Thanks again Manny, see you next year!

Clean, quiet, comfortable, close to shopping and restaurants, parking on property limited but plenty of street parking close to the front door, easy access and communication from host is top notch. A great alternative to big hotels, the whole property has that nice home away from home feel to it. Highly recommend.

The "Comfortable Room" was that - very comfortable! I would definitely stay here again, but would choose a room with an ensuite. Location was within walking distance of stores, multiple eating options. Manny was extremely responsive to messages, and ensured that my stay was a good one. Thank you!

Good price for bedroom Locked door, Shared bathroom and use of kitchen. Very clean Space to park car. Great communication with owner. Would be nice to have beside towel a face cloth and a small hand towel in bathroom after you use facilities. Extra toilet paper in bathroom would be gandy in tge middle of the night.

The house is set up for the guests and there is lots of common space. Our room and all common areas were spotless. Manny has thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. He accommodated our special request. There is great walking trail that starts down the street.

I had a 3 night reservation. My room had a lock, and there was a shared bathroom with 2 other rooms. There is a full kitchen, with all appliances, dishes and cutlery. The house is roomy, with all bedrooms on second floor. My only negative comment is that the inside of the house is tired; it could stand a paint refresh to all walls and baseboards. Also, the countertops in the kitchen should be replaced.

Husband and I stayed here for a night. Needed a place to stay as our friend couldn't accommodate us and we were gonna have a few drinks. The room was clean and spacious. Manny was thorough with instructions, and very kind. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property was great as was the owner and manager, Manny. The bedroom was spacious, clean and had a really nice bathroom with a big jacuzzi style bathtub. The kitchen was well equipped with all things you need if you have to cook. The other guests were very quiet and courteous. The neighbourhood felt very safe. The only minus was the distance from all the places we wanted to see. If you are driving - it’s about a 20 minute drive. Overall - excellent option for your stay in Ottawa.

Great welcome and place, but the walls are literally paper thin. I had to tell the neighboring roommate to stop talking on his phone cause I couldnt get to sleep : I could hear everything he was saying plus his friend on his phone speaker. Bathroom right next to the room I was occupying, so you can imagine the rest. Too bad cause it is clean and well maintained.

This is a beautifully cared for home. The only issue we had was that the Expedia site did not say it was a shared bathroom. Manny was able to upgrade us to a room with a private bath.

It is a very clean place , very quiet and convenient . There is a plaza 20 minutes walking . An amazing trail nearby. Check in and out very easy.

We had terrible access to internet, everywhere we were in Ontario, so we could not get the necessary informational email from Manny. Would have loved some creamer for the coffee.

Quiet area with parking close by. Very clean house with all necessary utilities included. Large kitchen and den with a large sofa. Not too far from a big shopping district with lots of choice for food and anything else you might need. I fully recommend this location.

Great experience! Interesting setup with the shared kitchen etc...you get to meet people coming and going if you spend time on the main floor. Manny puts personal attention into the house and his guests, and is *very* helpful and friendly. Our specific space in the basement was roomy and the AC was cranked nice and low, bed was comfy, great lighting, heated bathroom mirror... *but* the folding couch is at the end of its life and in its current state I'd suggest it being a space for only 2 to sleep. We used the BBQ and ate in the afternoon sun on the back patio, Set up the laptop on the *amazing* leather couch in the living room to do some work, we cooked multiple meals and all the guests were respectful of our foodstuffs. Plenty of coffee to go around, water cooler in the dining room, easy check in, grocery stores/mall a couple minutes drive away, about 30 minute drive from downtown. Thanks again Manny, see you next year!

The place was very clean and very quiet. Shopping place and all the restaurants are very close only take 3 to 4 minutes to all the places. And the owner of the property Emmanuel was very friendly very humble. Like to come back again in vacations and will stay at same place. And i will recommend to all my friends who will like to travel to ottawa. Thank you very much Emmanuel.

Price was very affordable. Super big bathtub, comfy bed, great wifi, streaming tv, clean kitchen area, Manager very responsive to any comment, such as towels etc. Minor suggestions given to Manager. close to 416 highway, endless shopping, restaurants etc

I would highly recommend Manny’s Place for an Ottawa getaway. It’s an immaculately cared-for house property in a quiet suburban neighbourhood. The whole house is spotless, quiet and comfortable, and the Kerrigan coffee in the morning was the icing on the cake! Manny is very helpful by text with any information you might need, and it was a pleasure to meet him face to face as we were checking out. Forget the big anonymous chain hotels on the highway, it was a real treat to stay at Manny’s Place!

Beautiful house and accessibility to a full kitchen! Manny was more than accommodating and understanding when we had to extend our stay, in regards to timing of rebooking due to unforeseen issues. He responded within minutes, when we reached out for anything, and always checked on us everyday to ensure our stay was adequate as to our liking. Definitely recommend this establishment.
