Très bel appartement, spacieux, très propre et très bien équipé (ils ont pensé au moindre détail). Thé et café Nespresso original à disposition. Il manque juste un ascenseur, car même s’il n’y a qu’un étage, l’escalier est extérieur et lorsqu’il neige et que l’escalier est verglacé, monter les bagages devient compliqué. Accueil très froid à la réception de l’hôtel pour la remise des clés et pour le départ. Pourtant un sourire et quelques mots gentils ne coutent rien.

Really great location, easy to walk but also very easy to drive short distances to some really great tourist spots. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the washer/dryer combo.

Loved our stay here! The apartment check-in and parking was straightforward and simple. The suite was clean, modern and prepared with things like washer, dryer AND laundry pods. Minutes away, walking distance to Bonus (grocery and everything store), gas and restaurants. Would highly recommend and stay again!!

Stay in the two bedroom suite in July 2025. Everything is good. Check in was smooth. Unit is on second floor with no elevator so you need to carry the luggage’s up. Grocery and famous pizza place right cross the street. Used the kitchen to cook some simple breakfast. Also used the washer and dryer. Note it is a combo machine so you need to plan your loads accordingly. Unlike dryers in America it takes about two hours to finish one load but it does the job.

The apartment is right on the main road / center of town, but entrance and parking on the back makes it safe and easy. Grocery store in front of the apartment building. Laundry and dryer in unit was a huge plus. There was no air conditioning but the fans in each room were on and did the trick for us. We highly recommend it!

Nice sized apartment, modern, clean, very convenient location in Vik. However, the balcony was filthy and not inviting and the railing (wall) blocked any view of the beach unless standing. Also, per the description, we expected a great view of the beach... it was very far in distance and not barely noticeable. Overall, a nice place to stay, but not at all worth the price.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was impressively massive and modern. It was very close to shops and restaurants. The only 2 faults I could say were that the beds were uncomfortably firm and the bright lights of Kronan were shining directly through our living room window.

The room was clean and ready. Hard to find even with maps. A little advice ahead of time would be helpful. Walls and doors and very thin so you can hear your neighbors. Thankfully, they finally got tired.

The place was clean and tastefully decorated with thoughtful amenities. We wish we would have booked a longer stay. We were only there overnight and the weather in Vík was horrendous but this apartment made us feel safe and cozy. The only drawback is the weather shakes the windows and is REALLY loud - thankfully we had white noise machines that helped. Oh and getting into the apartment takes some figuring - there’s no pictures or written instructions other than the code so it took us some time to see that you open the door into a hallway and then the interior door has a hidden keypad that is awakened by touch through the tiny cracks along the

It was impossible to sleep with the blackout shades. They didn’t cover the window. Would leave a five star if they would just put a blackout curtain over the window to cover and spills of sunlight. It’s an easy and quick fix.

This was a great apartment to rent. Easy to checkin my code thru email. Place was clean and had everything we needed. The only downside was that we had no idea how to control the heat. It was extremely hot (radiant floor heat in one bedroom) so we had to open windows and doors at times.

I was very impressed with the Vík Apartment we rented for three nights. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. It even had a washer and dryer, which I wasn't expecting. The location is great, directly across the street from a grocery store and pizza shop, and a quick walk to the cutest coffee shop in a school bus.

There is in unit washer and dryer, nespresso coffee machine, cooktop, microwave, a full sized fridge with freezer, all the cookware and utensils! The beds and linens are very comfortable. The location is perfect! Directly across the street is a big grocery store, gas station and some restaurants and gift shops. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this hotel!

Bad direction on location, gave me wrong number. Spent 30 minutes looking for A11. There was no A11 but other A#s. It’s a great room, just disappointing they are poor on check-in direction.

Excellent stay, excellent property, location and amenities. Just felt a bit pushy for us to get out ASAP. I got about 4 emails reminding us check out was at 11:00am and about the check out process within 13 hours. By 9:30am we had an employee peaking through the door to see if we had left yet. I get you have a lot of places to clean but check out is at 11:00, if you want us out earlier, change the check out time. Still, would stay there again. It was very nice and I enjoyed the seamless check-in/out process.

The check in was a bit challenging. We don’t think there is a need for a separate app to be installed as so many other places don’t need one. As well might be useful to mark the exterior building numbers or have a map at the entrance locations for the units.

I stayed here for two nights and had a rather frustrating experience overall. Check-in was confusing from the beginning. I was told to use the AeroGuest app, but it didn’t work for me despite multiple tries. In the end, I had to go to the reception at Hotel Vík to check in manually. The map they gave me didn’t clearly explain that the studio and apartment units share the same entrance, which added to the confusion. The most disappointing part happened on the morning of check-out. I hadn’t officially checked out — I had just loaded my luggage into the car and went for a short walk. When I returned around 10:00 AM, the cleaning staff were already inside the apartment. I hadn’t even scanned the check-out QR code. I thought about saying something, but I didn’t want to let it ruin the last day of my trip. Unless you specifically want an apartment-style accommodation, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The poor communication and lack of attention to guest experience made my stay feel unnecessarily stressful.

Easy check-in with Hotel Vik. The front desk person was helpful. He provided good info about restaurants around the area. Place was great - nice and clean. Plenty of space with lots of appliances/dishes in the kitchen. I would stay here again.

Stayed here a couple nights as a base of operations while exploring around Vik. Check in and check out we're all self-serve, which was easy. Location is nice, right across the street from some good restaurants and a cafe for breakfast.

Loved this pretty apartment. 2 bedrooms, walkable to everywhere in Vik. Parking directly in front. Walk to dining, Kronan groceries, black sand beach. Apartment had washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, fancy coffee maker and very comfortable beds.
Loved this pretty apartment. 2 bedrooms, walkable to everywhere in Vik. Parking directly in front. Walk to dining, Kronan groceries, black sand beach. Apartment had washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, fancy coffee maker and very comfortable beds.

The Apartment is really nice clean and modern, parking is in front to the door the Black beach is in a walking distance and you can find also Restaurants and supermarket just nearby but it is a bit expensive

Very impressed with the condition and services of this hotel. Our apartment had literally everything we need to have a home away from home. There is in unit washer and dryer, nespresso coffee machine, cooktop, microwave, a full sized fridge with freezer, all the cookware and utensils! The beds and linens are very comfortable. The location is perfect! Directly across the street is a big grocery store, gas station and some restaurants and gift shops. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this hotel!

I loved the location - right across the street from the beach and a short walk to dinner. Breakfast at the hotel was good - buffet with lots of options. It was only place we could get coffee before 9 am. Could not figure out the dryer and would have loved a better pillow but overall it was quiet, clean and comfortable.

Stayed here a couple nights as a base of operations while exploring around Vik. Check in and check out we're all self-serve, which was easy. Location is nice, right across the street from some good restaurants and a cafe for breakfast.

Great place! Plenty of room for our family of 5. Nicely furnished. I definitely appreciated the washer and dryer! Excellent location for our first night along the Ring Road. Easy to walk to the black sand beach and to a great cafe and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Excellent location, the cliff/church, the beach, the restaurants,shops, grocery, cafes are all within walking distance. Extremely clean and everything you need in an apt. hotel. Loved our stay, family of 4, would definitely stay here again if ever in Vik.

Vik apartments is a brand new set of apartment buildings that is part of the Hotel Vik. They are located closer to the main road and you check in at the hotel. It’s walking distance to black sand beach and a few restaurants/shops. Parking is right out front. I think we may have been the first people to have stayed in this spot as the pots and pans in the kitchenette were brand new. This is a nice option for less. Breakfast was not included but you can pay for the buffet without question—the buffet was really poor quality for the cost but was an easy option!

Really liked our Studio Room. Very comfortable with kitchenette, bath with heated floors and good bed. Dining at Vik hotel. Had a hard time finding breakfast next day bc many places were closed for the season or opened at 9 am. Vik hotel was available for breakfast
