SLS LUX Brickell

Not sure where to start! I booked this place for the roof top. I was doing work there at 6 pm security kicked me off saying area is closed!! Why?? Then I went to the gym later and they also kicked me out at 10. Which hotel does not have a 24 hour gym. The lights were on. No one was there and they just kicked me out for no reason there’s also a whole maze of a system between residence and hotel guests, and you can’t access a lot of the doors without being a resident as they have these biometric scans so I ended up getting stuck between two doors on the rooftop for 30 minutes with no help and only by accident someone saved me. Overall horrific experience stay away. Also steam room is advertised, but it’s within the spa that has very limited hours and also within the maze that Hotel residence don’t have access to. all nonsense.

I’ve stayed here before with no issues, great location. However, during this stay, one elevator was out of service the entire time, and both were down for several hours at one point. A staff member had to escort us via the service elevator, and other guests were also frustrated. My room was missing silverware, and housekeeping misplaced the remote during cleaning and lost it. Aside from these issues, the room and amenities were nice.

Amazing location, amazing property. Everything you need right on the doorstep, but the amenities on the property are worth sticking around for. Pool area was the highlight. Great atmosphere, and the best drinks and service from the bartender Laz. Highly recommend.

The elevators were out of service constantly throughout our three-day business trip. During the heat of summer, this made walking up and down several flights of stairs an absolutely horrible experience. The staff was nice enough about it, but it’s clear that the property is poorly managed, if being managed at all.

Valet parking is outrageously priced at $50 per night. Unbelievable!!! There’s no viable public parking so they’ve got a sure fire revenue stream. The room was very comfortable and the balcony was nice. The view was nice but only because the other buildings across the street look pretty cool. However if you want a nicer downtown view, this is not the room. That being said, the security was excellent and the front desk was super helpful and cordial and professional. There really isn’t a decent restaurant on site so you should be prepared to walk a very short distance, less half a mile, and you’ll find whatever kind of food you like or you’re basically impossible to please.

The location of the hotel is close to everything.. However, the card to get into the room,elevator and Amenities Did not work properly. There was several ppl having issues with the fob card.Bathrroom did not have hand soap. There wasn’t enough pillows in the bed. Also,, The hotel rooms are very dark l, there’s not enough lights . Even if you open the curtains . Still dark in room. We turned on all the lights still dark . The BAR by the pool and food service closes early at 5 PM

Great location excellent pool. Rooms are very standard , water was always coming out from the shower into floor and have place many towels to prevent flooding.

All good but the Valet Parking Service, very expensive and very slow.

The first night I arrived it was unbearably hot. They came to fix the AC twice and it still didn’t work. They did give us a different room but we had to wait until the following afternoon. The elevator also kept breaking down so we had to walk from the 7th floor multiple times. This is very unusual for the SLS Lux. I’ve stayed there many times and did not have this problem.

Hotel was wonderful. Very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Right in the middle of brickle across from City center. We had breakfast by the pool every morning and the food was delicious.

Hi! We stayed at your hotel fo four days while we were in Miami. The room is space but the cleaning was a disaster. We had to ask for towels and the room did not got cleaned. But the staff at the reception were very helpful.

We came to the SLS for 6 days right after Christmas! Loved the area, it has everything! Hotel was pretty solid: Staff was nice and friendly, Rooms were huge. Brickell city center is literally downstairs. Would have loved more sun in the room, because of the side the balcony was on, no light would come in. We would have to turn on the lights in order to have brightness. Also balcony had a couch and table with chairs but with stains and rust didn’t make us want to go and relax there. Carpet inside the room had a huge stains which made it a little dirty to walk bare feet. Besides that, the rest was great. Not sure I would stay there again though. The light in the room was a pretty big deal to us.

The location is excellent—right on the main street, and just a short walk across the road to a mall with restaurants and shops. However, the rooms are very outdated and were not clean upon arrival. The sheets were dirty, the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, and the kitchenette sink had visible dirt. This was quite disappointing. The only real highlight of this hotel is the pool. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food was surprisingly good. If the management invests in better maintenance and cleanliness, this place could be much better.

Too much noise inside the room, they left the room dirty, the reception was a mess and did not help nor provide service at all. They charge as if it’s a 5 star hotel but give a 2 star service

I stayed in this hotel from July 19 to the 20th just one night thank God . I understand bring in the city center. Will bring a lot of in and out traffic & quick turnovers. Unfortunately, that should not excuse the fact of cleanliness and sanitation, especially in the times we are in . I showed up at 1 PM for a massage and some pool time before checking into my room. They said they would call me and place my bag in the room when the room is ready I went down at 4 PM after no text or call. Upon going into my room, I immediately noticed cup rings & food stains on the tables from previous guest, as well as clothing, tags and stickers in the restroom and miscellaneous things on the floor. You can tell that nothing was really wiped or even cleaned . Again, considering the high turn and burn at this location, I thought just be reasonable. Let it go and move on. It’s your birthday weekend. Upon approaching the evening night after a very uncomfortable shower I go to lay in the bed and there are literal blood stains on the sheets. I was in disgust. I had a double bed so I moved over to the other bed to sleep the rest of the night but honestly the room looks like it was just put back together not actually sanitized or clean in any form . Very disappointed, considering the price and brand of this hotel to fall so short of the bare minimum cleanness.

My room had left over underwear and things from the previous guest. No soap or shampoo as well. I expected SLS to hold Themselves to a higher standard. Very disappointed, never coming back need again.

Beautiful and clean

This hotel had the best room I’ve ever stayed in anywhere in the world. It has everything you could need. Would definitely be back next year.

If you are looking for location at Brickell this is the place, but if you want quiet and relaxing nights probably would be a good a idea to look some other location. You can hear the noise of vehicles and motorcycles from the street into the room and even in the bathroom throught the ventilation ducts.

Very nice new hotel. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a nice studio with all amenities. Great location. Friendly and professional staff.

Rooms need renovation. Stained furniture, bedding medium quality.

It was ok, not 5 star. But good. A bit old and dated. But ok.

!!! WARNING: DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL !!! For even one night if you want to get more than one hour of sleep. The hotel sits directly over a club they have no responsibility for, or discretion over. The club has no consideration for the hotel patrons seemingly playing the worst selection of “music” at maximum volume from opening to closing at 5 AM. It’s as though every song was chosen to maximize window rattling bass lines and vocals. I imagine the equalizer on their set up has the treble turned all the way down and the bass turned to maximum levels. I happened to be in room 201 which was ground zero for the assault I endured until after 5 AM. It was impossible to sleep because I didn’t happen to be comatose at the time. I don’t understand how the hotel can, in good conscience, sell any room within earshot of the club. I called down to the front desk three times. Once through the room phone and twice through my cell when no one picked up. I wouldn’t pay any price, or even accept the room for free, to be subjected to the endless barrage for another night. The next morning the hotel management did absolutely nothing to accommodate me when I confronted them face to face. I left my contact information for the manager but nobody followed up. Terrible customer service.

The lobby is very small and does not make the actual hotel justice. For some reason my room was not ready when I arrived although I arrived after check in time. The room itself was wonderful, spacious, with a seating area, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, mini bar etc. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean with a great shower. The bed, duvet and pillows were fantastic. However it was not soundproof and the noise from the traffic outside was quite annoying. Excellent location in the centre of Brickell with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance.

I'd like to give this property a high rating - and could, if it wasn't for one major point: the air quality in the room was so bad (damp, humid, mildewy) that my husband and I found ourselves sick with a respiratory issue the very first morning after sleeping there. We turned off the A/C, opened patio, kept fan on in bathroom, etc. but still woke up to damp clothes and linens. The spaces themselves are huge, and well designed with great amenities (washer/dryer was awesome to have for a long trip). The pool and bar area were wonderful too. Checkin staff was just ok, not super friendly or helpful, and I had to ask for things for the room a few times (coffee pods were never delivered after days of asking). Bellhop was great too. In summary: if you're not sensitive to air quality, this could be a wonderful stay, but it was an absolute deal-breaker for us in ever staying here or recommending SLS LUX in the future.

SLS is very nice and very upscale. Rooms were very big and plenty of room for our family of 5. Location is a 10/10. Plenty to see and eat. Only negative to the hotel was we checked in at 3:30 and our rooms was still not ready when we were promised a 3pm check in.

I liked the location of the property, but service was horrible. Room cleanliness was very disappointing. Staff were not very nice. I don’t recommend this property.

The SLS Lux Brickell, is a beautiful property and close to everything. Front desk staff and valet were also great! We really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel has no restaurants either bars, which is weird for a high end hotel like this one pretends to be. The only place where to eat something is the pool bar at the 9th floor with a very low quality selection of dishes and terrible breakfast choices. During my stay coffee machine was not in service so no coffee, no tea and no other hot drink for breakfast. The only option was a minute made orange juice which again is not what I expected for a place like this. Check in and bell service was a very bad experience for me as well. Room was not ready ( I arrived one hour before check in time which is 3 pm, so that is my fault). I left luggage with the concierge while heading to a restaurant outside the property to be able to eat something. When I finally got access to my room luggage never came, the receptionist forgot to instruct the concierge to deliver it. Phone that was given to me to call for it was the general hotel phone number, with a robot answering and taking you to 3 different menues. So I needed to get down to the reception and claim for my luggage in person.

I never write a review but am sadly compelled to in this case. The hotel experience was truly awful. I was in two suites, one of which was on the second floor. My group could not sleep because the music and vibrations were so intense from the club directly underneath them. There was no warning of this. When we complained, we were offered a small discount for one of three nights, and nothing more. There were no towels at the pool at 10am on a Friday. We waited for an hour to receive some. When we got back to the rooms at 5pm after a boat day in need of a shower, we found our rooms had not been made up yet. SLS Lux, you need to do a lot better. Staff was generally pleasant but management is sub par at best. Please stop fully booking your hotels when you lack staff and basic supplies to accommodate the guests.

GREAT LOCATION

Location of the property was excellent, convenient to shopping and restaurants.

Hotel is located in the heart of it all. Restaurants, shopping all within walking distance. Beautiful clean hotel with friendly service. Will stay here again.

SLS LUX is located in a great area downtown Miami. So many great shops and restaurants made it super easy and convenient for us while we were there.

The closet at the room was full of cleaning, kitchen and personal items …. The bathroom was more a 3 star hotel with No amenities other than shampoo and liquid soap….the hotel has NO ROOM SERVICE after 5 pm !!! And has NO IN-HOUSE RESTAURANT !!! , no privacy at all , finally , it’s noisy ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT LONG , yo hear the sound of all this exotic cars revving up and down the street and the sound goes directly inside the rooms , there is no way you can relax …. this hotel is sold as a luxury hotel, and is NOT …. definitely NOT as a luxury hotel

Beautiful hotel. Our room was lovely and huge! Staff was super. Only issue was the restaurant. Ordered breakfast at the pool but it never showed up. Had to go elsewhere to eat. Everything else was great.

very noisy on a tuesday night the nightclub was banging until 3am and also the breakfast restuarant opens at 9am - clearly this is a place for party people

Over priced and the hotel took a large $250 miscellaneous fee The cover incidentals, outrageous! Does not have in-house bar or restaurant. Bar is locate by the pool.
