Property close to airport. Shuttle service was great. Friendly staff

Place was excellent. Staff was pleasant. Airport shuttle was timely. However, poor guy behind counter seemed to be doing EVERYTHING by himself and it was rather busy, even at 4 am as I was waiting for the airport shuttle. Turns out, he even drove the shuttle. Kudos to him for working his but off, but maybe not the best guest experience for others having to wait for him. Not his fault. He was great.

The mattress was very uncomfortable, the TV guide for each station did not match what was showing. Shuttle ONLY runs on the hour making it rough if you miss the shuttle. After midnight if you need the shuttle from the airport it’s on your dime, no refund for a Uber or taxi. Room and bathroom were clean, no issues there. The desk clerk was very nice but hard to understand her dialect.

I’ve stayed at quite a few hotels over time and this was the best experience so far. The room was spacious and clean. The Airport shuttle came to pick us up as promised and all I had to do was call them. I don’t normally eat the hotel breakfast, but I showed up every morning because they have a mini waffle maker. The BEST is the staff. They are EXTREMELY friendly. The first night I walked to Donatos and thought I grabbed the room key and they gave me another. My last night, I explained that my flight was later and asked if I could hang in the lobby and they allowed me to check out a little later. The hotel is located within a plaza that has gas stations and places to eat. You can also get food delivered if you wanted.

Before I booked, I called and verified they could accommodate a late shuttle from the airport. They assured me they shuttled 24/7. Once I booked, they then said no shuttles after 11, despite what they had promised earlier. I also could not cancel because it was too close to check in.

If you are using the airport shuttle, BEWARE. The hotel charges a 3 day minimum of $23 to leave your car., even if you're only gone one day. It is not on the website. The Expedia site says parking is included. Price of the hotel is cheaper, but the hidden charges make it more expensive. I am quite unhappy with this.

Very understaffed. One guy set up breakfast, ran the front desk, and drove the airport shuttle. I expect the shuttle to be ready to shuttle at the agreed time, not 10-15 minutes late.

Security for the parking lot! 8 pickup trucks were broken into on 7/13!! Hot breakfast items, except waffles, are terrible. Storm hit and there was no emergency lighting in the rooms. We had to purchase flashlights. The staff was great! Very willing to do whatever they could to help during the blackout. Not enough parking!

Clean

The bathroom floor was dirty- dirty tissues on bottom on shelves, . The toliet was not clean- the sheets were stained. There was mud all over the lobby floor and in the elevator. I won’t stay here again. I come to Columbus to visit family every two months from South Carolina

We stayed one night. Room was okay but cleanliness was an issue. Previous occupant left drinks in fridge that were still there. Clearly staff didn’t look in fridge when cleaning. A couple of questionable spots and hairs were found on beds.

This hotel had rooms that were not very clean. There were stains on the bed, on the curtains and on the couch. We complained (they looked like they didn’t believe us) and they gave us a new room but unfortunately that room was also filled with the exact stains. I can only imagine the dark rugs in the room, that make it hard to see cleanliness. Make sure you check your bed for any stains before sleeping.

The property was dirty, old and outdated, stained walls, blood on the sheets, one bed looked as if it was slept in. I slept in the car! Breakfast was disgusting! Hair on the counter and toilet just nasty! Cheapest amenities you could find! No thank you!

It was pretty dirty. Bathroom had mold in the shower. I didn't want to sit on the couch in the room. Beds were the worst I've slept in. The employees were nice.

My room was dirty! The tables had dried food or whatever on it. The stand by the bed was dirty, I wiped it with a clorox wipe and the wipe was dirty. I have a picture of that for you. The bathroom floor hadnt been mopped in a few days. I have a picture of how dirty it was after I purposely spilled water and cleaned it with a white towel. There was a dirty/used wash cloth handing in the shower. The room smelled stale. The tv remote has something on it and crude from months of not being cleaned. Overall I was very displease, didn't sleep comfortably because it turned my stomach. Then I was working in my room at 9a on 6/1, luckily I had the door stop open because your cleaning crew just opened the door to walk in. No knock or nothing.

The hallway and elevator smelled like weed and/or another terrible odor throughout our stay. The room was not very clean. The bedside table was full of dust. The carpet had a crusty stain on it, and there was a hair tie left behind on the floor near the toilet. The guy behind the front desk was helpful and we did appreciate the free shuttle to and from the airport, but I probably would not stay here again.

There was dirty finger prints on the shower wall before we even used the bathroom. I called to tell front desk to clean our room and they said they would but it was still there when we returned after spending all day out of room. The was cloth had dirt on it ans well. Also the floor wasn’t cleaned and asked them to vacuum when they clean shower , the same dirt was there when we returned. We didn’t stay our last night it was too much filth.

The person checking us in was not very friendly. It was also the longest check in progress I've ever experienced. The air conditioner in the room made an awful noise the entire time it ran... made it so we didn't sleep well.. Then the water wouldn't get hot for showers.

Spacious rooms with large sectional to sit and watch TV. Nice bathroom

Loud!! Could hear every conversation of the people in the room next door. And, NO HOT WATER! Showers were tepid at best.

I stayed here two nights with two friends. I really enjoyed everything about it: rooms, location, staff, breakfast, however, I noted that my room door wasn't locking--there was some mechanical problem with the lock itself, so pushing the door allowed full immediate access to my room. Very dangerous! I spoke to the staff Saturday am, was assured it would be fixed, and left for the day. Returned to find it had not been fixed and had been accessible to anyone at all for the entire day. After I let them know with much emotion, they got a guy to fix the door. Imagine staying in a hotel and discovering that the door didn't catch in the lock and a simple push got anyone in the room!

Floors were very creaky. You could hear the people above you moving about the room, especially late at night

The television didn’t work and when we called the front desk, they told us how to fix it, but it didn’t work so we were in the hotel all night with no TV.

It is an ok stay for a night. Our flight was arriving very late, so we chose this hotel for a night. The location was very close to the airport, which is a plus. The room was clean overall. My main complaint, however, is how thin the walls/ceilings were resulting in a terrible noise - we could hear everything in the rooms above us or next to us.

The building seems older and the flooring in the room above us creaked every time the person would walk around the room.

The hot water in The shower was not hot enough.. It was lukewarm at the most. The sink water was good....it’s only the shower that was not hot.

The only issue was that this hotel did not have local TV stations available to watch, so no local news, weather, or traffic information.

Barely OK. Stayed one night before catching an early flight. A few minor things were broken in the room and common areas weren’t super clean. The room was clean and the bed was fine. The room above me was making racket for a couple hours, so I asked to move rooms. The staff was pleasant and moved my room. Huge improvement

The staff was so nice and it was the easiest check in that I have ever been through. The front desk attendant was knowledgeable and able to meet our needs to extend our stay. The room is nice and very clean, overall a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend

The rooms were clean. Front desk service was sparse. Even when standing in front of someone you had to clear your throat or interrupt their phone time to get their attention. Very loud at night in the halls. Large groups of people laughing and slamming doors. It wasn’t for just a few minutes it went on for hours. Hand sanitizers looked like you were going to catch a disease if you used them. Very dirty especially the one by the elevator. Lobby women’s bathroom had shaved hair on the counter, toilet paper all over the floor, and very dirty.

Rakiv (Rajiv) checked me in promptly on a busy rainy night, and was there most of the weekend to help us as needed. Room was so spacious and clean. Perfect accommodations for my trip. I visit often and will stay there again!

Staff is not very professional when they answer questions

Front desk female Sunday night was awesome when I asked for a later checkout as my son was in a lacrosse tournament and needed to shower before the flight back to the west coast. Will definitely stay here again for future tournaments.

The BEST is the staff. They are EXTREMELY friendly. The first night I walked to Donatos and thought I grabbed the room key and they gave me another. My last night, I explained that my flight was later and asked if I could hang in the lobby and they allowed me to check out a little later. The hotel is located within a plaza that has gas stations and places to eat. You can also get food delivered if you wanted.

Nice and close to airport

Great place for a one night stay before catching an early morning flight.

They've had several reports of car windows being smashed and yet no security in their parking lot. At least a dozen cars were damaged overnight.

This is not a safe area in Columbus. The night of our stay, seven cars in the parking lot had windows busted out. Our rental was one. The neighboring hotels were also burglarized. And this is not a one time event, this happens frequently and hotels on Cassidy are not recommended. The night we stayed, the area had been hit by a storm and lost power. No fault of the staff, they were kind. However, we were offered zero compensation or discounts on a $177 room.

This place seems, unsafe and there were homeless people at all corners of the premise. I saw people carrying guns at the hotel elevator and in front of the hotel. I stayed there 3 nights and services were poor, listed items were barely provided except the parking. I will never go back to this place again.

I booked one night for our family trip to Ohio prior to flying home the next day. Room was fine except for one broken LED bedside lamp. Oddly, the front desk gave us a review mirror tag to identify our vehicle as staying overnight. It turns out that became a flag for locals to break into our rental vehicle around 4am. In the morning I found a window smashed but nothing stolen. The front desk person used packing tape to secure a plastic bag over the opening as it had been raining. Front desk said they tried to call the room but there was no answer. There was no voice mail light on the phone and we found the ringer was broken anyways. Columbus Police doesn’t send officers for this so I had to file the report online. As we cleaned up the glass two other guests said their vehicle was broken into the previous night and their handgun was stolen. Hotels in this area make for a perfect source for criminals. New vehicles arrive daily, the hotel has the guests hang a tag in the window to easily identify them. The following Monday the hotel owner called and offered a full refund of $160. The check arrived but was only for $95. A return call to the owner was ignored. The damage cost me $333.80 out of pocket to prevent an increase in my personal vehicle insurance rates. Between the lack of security, the lack of notification after the incident and the shorted refund I was promised I won’t be back and highly recommend anyone look at staying away from hotels in the the Cassady Avenue area.

The room was very well-tended and comfy. The hotel is situated conveniently five minutes drive from Columbus Airport. But there are absolutely NO real restaurants nearby. Only the usual fast-food chains.

Staff was nice. Airport shuttle only ran on the hour and only ran until 11 pm. Our flight came in at 11:20 pm. Having a shuttle was one of the reasons I chose this hotel so was disappointed to find out I still had to pay to get to the hotel. Hotel was clean but could use a renovation. Breakfast was ok. Juice seemed watered down.

The room was clean and comfortable but the blackening curtains in our room were decorative so it never really got dark in there. The breakfast was decent but it was the same menu every day. The pool chemicals were not right and had a ton of foam at the top of the pool. The property smelled strongly of weed and smoke. Very convenient location.

I didn’t like the breakfast

We only stayed for one night. The facility has very recent updates and pleasant decor. The front desk was very friendly and efficient, but our room had stains on the carpet and old smoking odor in the room. The bathtub did not drain well, either. The breakfast buffet had nice options, but it was not monitored at all, so items ran out and the area looked very messy after a couple hours. This met our need for the night, but we are not likely to return.

The room overall was okay however the couch had stains all over it, beds was very uncomfortable, the shower was barely warm. We stayed two nights and the second night police was all over the parking lot of the hotel which was kind of scary not knowing what was going on with small kids in our room. The pool is only open till 9pm which doesn’t give much time to swim after a day out. The breakfast was cold both mornings and the same stuff. Nobody was tending to the breakfast and a little kid messed up the waffle iron and didn’t clean it and it was just left to where nobody could use it. Very unhappy with the stay! The area around the hotel also had a lot of homeless people. The parking lot always was full and the back of the lot where overflow parking was located was a very dark scary alley. Would not recommend!!

It was a good stay overall, with no complaints. The breakfast could have been a bit better with their hot food items, but for the price we paid it got the job done.
