The bathroom wasn’t clean when we arrived. They sorted it very quickly to be fair. The shower design means it sprays all over the floor as there’s no door. Thus the towels get soaked drying the floor. The complimentary coffee machine is terrible. It’s cold.

Staff were outstanding, rom was clean quiet, very comfy. The kitchen a total bonus. Having washing machines and dryers for guests was great

Well this was a surprise. Welcoming staff. Helpful discount on nearby parking at the railway station. A great room with well equipped kitchenette - it even had a dishwasher! The blockout curtains work. It was quiet, although I think rooms 001 to 003 are probably among the least peaceful. Breakfast was also something of a revelation - its much more than a basic continental breakfast and the hot selection is actually hot rather than tepidly warm. I'd certainy return if I needed to be in Brighton.

This is the second time I’ve come to Brighton and booked at Staybridge. It’s conveniently located next the train station from Gatwick airport and steps away from the North Lanes. We even enjoy the pool table downstairs for a bit of fun. It’s clean and modern and it seems the breakfast buffet has been improved even since last year.

Great location, close to train station. Well maintained rooms, excellent shower and comfortable bed. Nice friendly welcome at reception. Coffee machine was out of order for breakfast for 2 days and the team were slow to clear tables. Would stay again though

Nice clean, modern hotel in a very convenient location , great car parking nearby at Brighton train station car park, not mentioned on the hotel website or if you walk it on Google maps, but , turn right from the car park , walk 150 metres towards the train station then take the lift or the steps down( there’s a lot of steps ! ) and you are right outside the hotel. Breakfast great, not a full English but there were sausages, tomatoes, omelettes and beans. Croissants, toast, fresh bread, cereals, fruits, yoghurts etc – no complaints from me at all. Rooms were clean and spacious, same goes for the bathroom – with a really good shower. Cooking facilities in the kitchen area were excellent, electric hob, microwave combi oven, dishwasher and fridge. Lots of pans, plates cutlery and glasses etc. My first visit to a Staybridge suites, I was extremely impressed and will use again.

Stayed for Brighton Pride. Hotel Staff was great! Check in super fast and easy. The breakfast was good too! Only problem was that only one elevator was working. It was super busy at breakfast time and because everybody was checking out Monday because Pride was over. But everything else was great! Super Close to the train station and Park for the festival.

Short break for New Year celebrations. Hotel is lovely and modern. The breakfast in the morning was decent enough, although some of the hot items were slightly cold. One slightly confusing thing was the parking. We parked at the train station. Paid via the online app but that expired at 04.00 in the morning, leaving us in a bit of a panic in the morning trying to work out how to extend parking! Overall, would stay here again.

Off-site public parking expensive and not very celubrious, but hotel modern, clean and comfortable

The Staybridge Suites Brighton was very clean both the common areas and the suite we stayed in. Breakfast included was great too, with lots of options and all well stocked up which is good as it was very busy at breakfast but still had plenty of space to get a table. Room very spacious and well appointed - bed was comfy, SmartTV worked as expected and well appointed overall. Location was perfect too located at the end of Lanes which is perfect for leading into the centre and seafront in Brighton.

I had to take pictures of untensils as they where full off dust and you can tell they have not been clean in a while. Then we could not use are fridge as it keepet setting of the fuse and we was left 24 hours before it got fixed and are food went off. For the money we paid it was so not worth the money. We left very disappointed.

Toilet was not clean. No door on shower so water goes all over the floor and floor stays wet and slippery for ages. Did not recieve any fresh towels in our 5 day trip, so they stayed wet. Especially from trying to mop up the wet floor. Breakfast had less varitey than cheaper hotels. No bacon, no ham, maybe one type of cerial. No yoghurt or fruit either. Thought the pool table would be free to use for guest but it was not. No cleaning stuff provided to put in the washining machine. Also the big shower head dripped cold water which was annoying when trying to use the smaller one. The small shower head didnt fit in the holder on the wall, if you could manage to make it fit it was angled so that it sprayed water at the opposite wall, where you hang towels so they got soaked. It also fell off easily and hit you on the head. Room 446.

Clean and comfortable

Lovely large, clean room with a superbly fitted out kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and everything you would need to cook a full meal (we didn’t!). A lovely bathroom as well.

Property was in excellent condition. Clean comfortable bed. Room was spacious with a large bathroom and warm shower. A Brekafsast was included and contained all the essential. Unlimited Coffee

It was a clean en nice hotel. Beautiful room with a proper and amazing bathroom. The hotel was near the translation and also near the centre of Brighton. Everything was reachable by walking distance.

Fantastic room, comfortable bed, clean and tidy. Team were friendly and welcoming.

Hotel was smart, modern decor in the room and reception area. Lovely modern bathroom and convenient kitchen area in room, bed very comfy. Only negatives although very minor were one of the bedside lamps didn’t work & the microwave display board and another utility was bright during the night (found ways to cover it up though). Would visit again as only a 20min walk to town & parking 10 mins away on London road.

Good location near the train station. Pretty modern room and bathroom with a good shower. Not really a desk to work from if you need that, just a small table.

Great location next to the station and in the heart of Brighton. We were welcomed by the friendliest staff and also given an upgrade for our stay. The room was a good size, comfy bed and great rain shower. The room even had a mini kitchen which could be really handy for longer stays. Overall a really great experience, would recommend.

The room is .much smaller than in the pictures clever photography, but having said that it was full of everything that I needed Including dishwasher, fridge, microwave and small hob

The property itself was very clean and in excellent condition, however, we could not sleep! The light on the microwave is really bright when the room is dark - it lights up the whole room- there is no way to turn it off? This kept me awake unfortunately. The bed was also really uncomfortable. So hard! A lovely place, excellent location and we really looked forward to our one night away, however, we both left feeling absolutely knackered. This was our first time away from our son in a couple of years and really just needed a good nights sleep!

It was okay for the price especially with breakfast included. Could do with better soundproofing. Other room doors could be heard very loudly when being shut. Bathroom nice, bed comfortable and a few good amenities. Good location. Not sure if we would stay again but good if you’re on a budget as prices in Brighton including breakfast are fairly expensive.

Great rooms and facilities. Perfect for any kind of stay. Like a home away from home. Room was a bit cold though and despite my best efforts I couldn’t get it to warm up using the aircon control panel.

Room was great, nice and quiet. Kitchen was good (we didn’t use it but had hob and dishwasher) BUT smelled of stagnant water. Also bed was too hard for my comfort. Aircon (no ability to open windows) was set centrally so no control). Breakfast food was very good l but food was in a very small area which meant queues for food and drink. Also, not enough tables!

Could have been great but no policy to deal with noisy dog in adjacent room. Eventually got a new room but issue not dealt with. External lighting could be improved from a safety perspective

Hotel was located just a few steps from the train station. Very convenient, since we needed to catch the 7 am train to Heathrow. Walking distance to downtown Brighton, and the pier. The included continental breakfast was great to start off the day. Dining area was very clean and kept up well. Seems as if the hotel was newly constructed, still had that new smell. We hung out in the den/playroom in the basement. They had just had a pool table delivered that day, but the pool sticks were not installed. We told the front desk, and pool sticks were in place next day. Hotel were very attentive and professional. Had issue with our room thermostat being locked and unable to chage temperature. When front desk was alerted to situation, problem was addressed within the hour. Check out was quick and seamless. My only minor issue was with room service. No problem with the service itself. But when we returned at the end of the day to our room, we noticed that the door was still open, just propped open by the dead bolt. My guess is that the attendant kept the door open for easy access when going in/out of the room. Luckily, nothing was taken from our room, as the door still looked like it was closed when passing by. But still unnerviing. Nevertheless, would still recommend hotel, and will return next time we visit Brighton.

The hotel and its location is great. Parking was cheaper at the Sainsbury’s underground using Your Parking Space. It was a 2 minute walk to the hotel. Check in/out was easy. The room was modern and clean with good utensils in the mini kitchen. The cleaning service was non-existent. We asked for our room to be cleaned on the second day as there was no door sign to put out to indicate this. We told reception as we were leaving to go out for the day at around 11am. They took our room number down and said a cleaner would tidy the room and replenish the towels. When we came back to our room that evening, the request was not fulfilled. The room was not turned over and no fresh towels given. Breakfast was limited but standard got a b&b. Good for the rate included in the room price. Overall it was a clean and safe hotel. Just standards for room cleaning need to be improved.

Really good stay with great facilities and the staff were particularly lovely, helpful and attentive.

to be honest, it was a bit crap not the hotel but the parking , they could clearly see that I was in a wheelchair but instead of offering the disabled parking out the front I was advised to park at the train station.. Even the General Manager who was parking in the disabled parking didn't offer it to me. it was not until I had to ask ... my company was a corporate client with 40 staff based in the UK , however we will now be using Premier inn or Ibis

Hotel looked new and fresh unfortunately with it new and upmarket some of the staff lacked any enthusiasm or customer care. The duty manager on Friday was moody and unapproachable and on one occasion when I was showing my partner around he gave me a disapproving look that I asked him a question. The morning breakfast hall attendant lifted our plates and cups before we got a chance to finish the tea, looked like he wanted to be somewhere else. There was lack of information how the room appliances work but the manager did come to the room to investigate. Not good to overhear the duty manager slating either a customer or member of staff in the breakfast area to another colleaqe .

Outstanding staff who were professional and went out of their way to accommodate me when my flight was at first delayed and then cancelled.

Location was ideal for everything we wanted to do and see and if you’re not a fan of stairs park at the station as there’s a lift down to the hotel.

Great location, especially it you travel by train, exit from the side of the station and a somewhat smelly :-( municipal lift (not within control of the hotel) will take you almost to the front entrance and reception. The Lanes (great shops and cafes) and the seafront are a short walk away. Wonderful reception staff, a good buffet breakfast, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean apartment. The only downside was the very clean bathroom. The walk in shower needs retro fitting with a sliding door, this has happened in some Crown Plaza hotels. As currently fitted the bathroom gets flooded when showering and is the only thing that lets the place down. However, the excellent outweighs this.

Had a great stay. Room was very clean. Great space, comfortable bed. Excellent value. Good range of food for the breakfast. Could do with 2 coffee machines as the only negative was queuing to make your drink. Staff were very polite and very helpful.

This is a great hotel, in a great location, with super friendly and professional staff. Would definitely stay here again. The rooms are super clean, quiet and well-equipped. Comfortable bed and great air con. Whilst the cold breakfast offerings are good, one minor quibble is that the hot vegetarian food options were a bit underwhelming. This is an excellent hotel overall and we will be back!

Everything was fine Except the breakfast wasn’t very good, It’s either sausage or bacon Not both together which is strange for a breakfast, And the bacon was ropey, Eggs was cold, And the hash browns was like still frozen, But everything else was fine

Though cooked breakfast was limited (boiled not fried egg, no scramble, no porridge) the bread, croissant, cereal, jams, fruit bowl, yoghurt etc. were excellent, good comfy clean room with space, good facilities including great fridge
