Great value. Location is hard to beat, honestly. Near to different subway lines, within walking distance from Asakusa and Senso-Ji, while also being within walking distance from Skytree and Solomachi shopping. All those are < 10 min walks. The room is a bit small, even by Japanese standards. The rooftop terrace is a nice addition, but please note that you cannot eat or drink on it after 8 pm, which pretty much defeats the purpose after those hours.

Hotel was great for what we needed. It was in a great location and walkable to asakusa and skytree. Metro nearby was great. Wished the terrace had some cover from the sun, as there were none and that made it unusable for relaxing. The rooms were nice and comfy, but I wish that each room would have their own microwave instead of sharing with the other units. Also wished dishes were placed inside the rooms as well instead of downstairs.

Very close to Asakusa. Around 5min walk to both Asakusa area and nearest subway station. A couple of combini near by. Building has elevator which is a plus. The view from the rooftop is spectacular. Stayed with family of 4 and place was superb and all amenities fit the description. Front desk staff is very accommodating. Neighbourhood feels safe.

Family of four stayed here for a week in April. The hotel was perfect for us with a large double bed and two x sofa beds for our children (12 and 8 years old). The shower/wet room was really good with plenty of hot water and pressure. The toilet is seperate from the washing area meaning no need to cross legs while someone is in the shower. The room could have used some storage space, somewhere to hang some clothes but it is a 3 star hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, though to be fair we didn't need much from them. I frequently used the convient vending machine just by reception which the kids and I called "Dave". The small hotel also has a roof terence. We only used it once but it's nice to have for sure. Location wise we found this hotel PERFECT! You can walk to Asakusa or Skytree easily. With both of those locations providing all you need in terms of shopping and sights it makes for a great base to explore Tokyo from. I would highly recommend it and certainly would stay there again.

View of Tokyo Sky Tree from the top deck was great especially at night. Basic no frills stay in quieter area of Tokyo. No daily cleaning but you can have new towels daily. Not too many bars in the area if that is your thing. If you dine on the Sumida side of the property, I think the dining options are cheaper, but when you cross the bridge to Asakusa, it get a little pricier, though more options, but still ok.

ソファーベッドを移動したら、前客の飲んだ後のペットボトルが出てきたことや、未使用のベットパットに髪の毛がついていて、衛生さに欠けた。しかしお風呂やその他はとても綺麗だった。屋上からスカイツリーや、アサヒビールのビルなどがライトアップで綺麗に見えとても良かった。ドライヤーが持ち手が壊れていて固定できず不便だった。リーズナブルでロケーションは最高。

部屋の清掃はされていて気持ちよく過ごせました。でもゴキブリが出たこと（これはなんともしょうがないかもしれないですけど）が残念でした。またゴキブリの苦手な若いスタッフさんが頑張って対応していたのですがどうしても無理だったらしく、最終的に自分で駆除をして回収しました。すごく低姿勢で何度も謝ってくれたので対応ではそんなに気分を害さなかったけどやっぱりスタッフさんに駆除して回収して欲しかったのが本音です。なので評価はイマイチにさせてもらいました。

We are surprised and amazed of the family room. It was so nice and clean. The guy/owner is the one who greeted us from the front desk and guess what, he was speaking English fluently. He was so nice and kind letting us check in early.

The room was small but definitely clean. Beds are not the best as they are quite thin. The walls are paper thin and after a long day out it was hard to fall into a good sleep since the guests above our room were up most of the night and very loud. No one at front desk that evening until next morning.

Perfect location, walking distance to Senso-ji temple, Asakusa station which made it easy to navigate to shibuya, Ginza etc. A couple of blocks away from a lot of restaurants and all kobini. Staff was helpful & they spoke English. Room was very spacious for 3 people! Will definitely rebook on my next trip! Arigato Gozaimasu 😊

4人で泊まったので2人はソファーベッドだったのですが、クッションがヘタっているのか、ソファーのなかの骨(木材かな)があたって辛かったです。 早めに買い換えたほうが良いのでは？と思いました。

The room was a good size. The shower was nice and hot. The bed was hard. The futon covers were soft and nice. It was slightly hard to find, walking from Tokyo Sky tree. Front desk was not that friendly. Facility in general was average. The floor in my room was really stained and in need of replacement. Would not choose to stay again.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It is about a 15-20min walk to the shopping district of Asakusa. After you cross the bridge there is lots to eat. There is no washing machine on site, there is a laundromat about 10mins away, we did our laundry after we xame back from sightseeing and it was 12am and i felt really safe. The front desk did not hekp us with luggage forwarding so we took our luggage to the Yamato dropoff location which was very close 10mins walk away. We stayed in the largest room, there was 2 twin beds and 2 sofa beds. It was enough space for our family. We bought Kombini food and ate in the room. Overall it was a good stay.

We stayed in the largest room, there was 2 twin beds and 2 sofa beds. It was enough space for our family. We bought Kombini food and ate in the room. Overall it was a good stay.

We are surprised and amazed of the family room. It was so nice and clean. The guy/owner is the one who greeted us from the front desk and guess what, he was speaking English fluently. He was so nice and kind letting us check in early.

My family and I (4 people) stayed at Playsis East Tokyo for 6 days and our stay was great! The staff were very welcoming and kind when we first checked in and were quick to provide us essential items upon request. Our room was clean and nicely cool when we arrived. I will say it is a little hard to maneuver around the room if you have big luggages but nevertheless, it is still manageable. In terms of the area, the subway system is very accessible! It was very easy to get into central Tokyo since it’s only 1 line if you walk to Asakusa station, which is only about a 10 mins walk from the hotel. If you’re coming from Haneda Airport, it’s just 1 line as well, but you get off at Honjo-Azumabashi, which is only a 5 mins walk to the hotel. In terms of food, there are plenty of restaurants, bakeries, and convenience stores in the community. If you’re purely looking for restaurants, there are many stalls right by Asakusa station. You can buy many souvenirs as well since it is all in the same area. I highly recommend trying this hotel out if you want to stay away from busy areas like Harajuku and Shibuya!

Great value. Location is hard to beat, honestly. Near to different subway lines, within walking distance from Asakusa and Senso-Ji, while also being within walking distance from Skytree and Solomachi shopping. All those are < 10 min walks. The room is a bit small, even by Japanese standards. The rooftop terrace is a nice addition, but please note that you cannot eat or drink on it after 8 pm, which pretty much defeats the purpose after those hours.

Perfect location, walking distance to Senso-ji temple, Asakusa station which made it easy to navigate to shibuya, Ginza etc. A couple of blocks away from a lot of restaurants and all kobini. Staff was helpful & they spoke English. Room was very spacious for 3 people! Will definitely rebook on my next trip! Arigato Gozaimasu 😊

The staff is great very friendly and helpful. Is within walking distance to the train station and a convenience store and with great options for food around. What I dont like is internet connectivity, it kept disconnected every 3-5 minutes and when you need to work, that can very very inconvenient.

Estuvimos una noche en Tokyo para tomar el tren al día siguiente hacia Kyoto. El hotel está bien, pequeño como casi todos los hoteles japoneses pero no te sientes asfixiado. Buena conexión al metro, cerca del Skytree. La única dificultad que tuvimos fue encontrar un lugar para desayunar.

Family of four stayed here for a week in April. The hotel was perfect for us with a large double bed and two x sofa beds for our children (12 and 8 years old). The shower/wet room was really good with plenty of hot water and pressure. The toilet is seperate from the washing area meaning no need to cross legs while someone is in the shower. The room could have used some storage space, somewhere to hang some clothes but it is a 3 star hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, though to be fair we didn't need much from them. I frequently used the convient vending machine just by reception which the kids and I called "Dave". The small hotel also has a roof terence. We only used it once but it's nice to have for sure. Location wise we found this hotel PERFECT! You can walk to Asakusa or Skytree easily. With both of those locations providing all you need in terms of shopping and sights it makes for a great base to explore Tokyo from. I would highly recommend it and certainly would stay there again.

View of Tokyo Sky Tree from the top deck was great especially at night. Basic no frills stay in quieter area of Tokyo. No daily cleaning but you can have new towels daily. Not too many bars in the area if that is your thing. If you dine on the Sumida side of the property, I think the dining options are cheaper, but when you cross the bridge to Asakusa, it get a little pricier, though more options, but still ok.

Great location. Rooms are tired (not as flash as the photos) but at least, for Tokyo, quite big and functional. Some staff really friendly, others totally ignored us! A lovely little evening cafe/bar (Gossip) close by and you are near the Asahi HQ and their top floor bar which is worth a visit for the view and all through the older Asakusa district.
