Stayed overnight. It’s very convenient when you decide to stay last min. breakfast was delicious. Not much for parking, ended up parking in Lot 2 overnight and ended up with a fine which was $35 bucks suppose it what you be charged if you were to have stayed anywhere else that had parking lol

Even though you're sharing a room with 15 other people, everyone was respectful and quiet. There was enough privacy and I never had to wait to use the washroom or shower. Super close to everything and the ski resort. Will definitely return when coming back to Whistler.

Had to be in Whistler for a family function solo and wasn’t into paying Whistler summer rates for a room. My least expensive option was here but I was pleasantly surprised. Sean and the staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. I doubt at my age I’m their target customer but I was treated with dignity and respect at all moments. I did not bring my DH bike with me but I liked the storage facility and would feel comfortable with my equipment there. The in house bar, restaurant and rooftop patio were all on point and fit the idea of a pod hotel. The facility is tidy and clean. My only suggestion would be to get the front automatic door serviced as it seems to be having issues. Overall, I’d stay here again if it fit the circumstances called for it. But as a former competitive athlete who had to come to Whistler to compete 25 years ago, I’d have jumped at the chance to stay somewhere like this back then.

Pangea is a Pod Hostel very beautiful and well located. It is exactly at downtown, one block walking to the Whistler lifts. The Pods are perfect, clean and big, and there are a lot of restrooms and showers, always clean, dry and organized. There is a little restaurant inside the hostel, with a simple but good breakfast. The staff is very attentive. There are good lockers and ski racks that are perfects to dry gloves and paints during the night. They should have a kitchen to the guests, at least a microwave and a fridge, but the restaurant staff help me when I needed.

This place is awesome! Close to gondola access, comfy warm bed, cool roof top cafe to chill and apres ski overlooking the Main Street, friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Reasonable storage for all your gear. Happily surprised that my damp boots and jacket dried quite nicely overnight so they have some good heat and ventilation going on in that storage area. Would highly recommend this place.

For a pod hotel it was very good but still expensive, specially eating there , breakfast was really expensive, also it would have been nicer if inside your pod you have a small locker that actually locks; and a shoebox so your shoes don’t dirty the carpet. Shower rooms are small , smaller than what I saw in Japan . But very clean, nice staff , nice roof top patio , amazing area and quiet inside .

Pod concept is really cool, with fans on the inside ensuring pristine ventilation. Pod was comfortable and it didn't feel cramped at all. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only a 3 min walk from the Excalibur Gondala, It's a perfect spot after a day on the hills. The room itself was very convienient, with seperate change rooms and stand-alone sinks. They even provide racks outside the rooms to store your snowboard or skis. My only complaint would be that the shower catcher in my room had alot of hair, which was kind of gross, but overall the experience was great!

I absolutely loved my stay at Pangea. First of all, location is PERFECT. It’s right in the heart of the village and you can walk everywhere easily. There’s also a supermarket, liquor store and many restaurants just footsteps away. The pod and the entire space are really well-thought-out and designed. I especially appreciate the sinks and changing corners in the room itself. One thing though, the toilets can be better maintained (shortage of toilet rolls, faulty locks for two out of three of the bathrooms in my room) and also, please wipe the surfaces of the pod as mine was dusty and had suspicious-looking white powder on one of the shelves in the pod. Seems like they just changed the sheets and not really clean the surfaces in the pods. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay. Shoutout to Ivy who was really sweet and helpful.

Great location. I expected pods to have the ability to be locked but they just have a curtain. You sure don’t get a lot for the $$. POD was okay and comfortable enough. Slept fine with earplugs and fan on. Didn’t feel comfortable leaving stuff unsupervised.

Surprisingly better than I assumed seeing as it is a pod hotel. Pods have more space then I assumed and for when it gets too warm they each have a fan. Showers are small but fairly clean along with the bathrooms being better than expected. Plenty of board game options in the common room along with affordable drinks, cheapest I saw in the area. And breakfast is quite good. Would definitely stay here again to save money for the lift ticket.

The pods were very comfortable, a little warm but there was a fan! Felt very secure and there was also a fairly large locker for my stuff which was helpful. Loved the experience! The rooftop patio was also nice with good food.

Excellent stay. Large pods, clean rooms and very friendly staff. Location is A+ and the staff there were very friendly. The living room offered great drinks at an even better price, good food options and plenty of bathrooms and changing rooms available. Can't ask for much more. If you're looking for a more affordable close to town option while in Whistler I definitely recommend the Pangea.

We were a little hesitant staying in a “pod” one of our worries was noise level and we didn’t know what to expect for “shared” bathrooms and showers. The beds were very comfortable. It was so quiet throughout the night even with a curtain as a door to our pod. The restrooms and showers are single unit rooms that you can lock for full privacy. They were both very clean. We were surprised at what we experienced and how we actually enjoyed it. There is also a rooftop deck that you can enjoy the mountain/village views and even order food and drinks up there. Everything is close by since you are in the middle of the village. We would recommend!

It depends on how tolerant you are to light, noise, extremely hot sleeping conditions. I found the pod curtains way too thin - every time a light went on the whole pod lit up. The noise from other guests was actually pretty good to be fair, but don’t expect to sleep much past 6am when people start stamping around. The bed has a plastic sheet, the pod has a pathetic little fan that I used for white noise, so it’s boiling hot. I woke up soaked in sweat every night. The tiny portable fan I borrowed from reception was hardly worth the trip downstairs for. On the plus side - excellent location, the staff were lovely, great showers and decent wifi.

It was just OK, but I wouldn’t stay there again. You could never get an early check in as all the room cards (keys) to access your room start working at 4PM. If you wanted to do a late check out you have to pay extra. If you check out and want to leave a small bag they would also charge you. Basically you pay extra for every single little thing. Plus, the amenities in the rooms are not great, soap and body lotion is very cheap. In my opinion, not good value for your money.

Hidden $100 “breakage” charge on check in. They don’t accept tap to pay or debit cards because they’re tight and won’t pay the fees. Didn’t offer a towel after check in. Check in is automated and tries to upsell you 3 separate times. Refused a change of date on booking due to honest mistake and charged extra $50 extra room rate. Refused and kindly waiver of fees. Living room and restaurant sitting area is cold. It seems they did not turn on the heater to save money. The whole building is not warm enough. check time 4 pm was strictly enforced. They even asked me to wait while it was just 10 minutes to 4 pm. Told me the room was not ready. It is non sense. Between 1 to 3 pm , nobody can come back to the room once you leave the room. They lock the main door to clean. Shared toilets and shower rooms are clean. They should not name " hotel" . It is misleading. I thought it was just a small hotel room with bathroom attached. It is basically a hostel. A modernized hostel.

The staffs are super helpful and friendly. Before the check in, they allowed us to leave our suitcases at the pod so we could easily visit the village. The room was clean and well maintaned. Plenty of space for a couple. My rate would be 100/10. Defintely I would come back.

Had to be in Whistler for a family function solo and wasn’t into paying Whistler summer rates for a room. My least expensive option was here but I was pleasantly surprised. Sean and the staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. I doubt at my age I’m their target customer but I was treated with dignity and respect at all moments. I did not bring my DH bike with me but I liked the storage facility and would feel comfortable with my equipment there. The in house bar, restaurant and rooftop patio were all on point and fit the idea of a pod hotel. The facility is tidy and clean. My only suggestion would be to get the front automatic door serviced as it seems to be having issues. Overall, I’d stay here again if it fit the circumstances called for it. But as a former competitive athlete who had to come to Whistler to compete 25 years ago, I’d have jumped at the chance to stay somewhere like this back then.

The Pods are perfect, clean and big, and there are a lot of restrooms and showers, always clean, dry and organized. There is a little restaurant inside the hostel, with a simple but good breakfast. The staff is very attentive. There are good lockers and ski racks that are perfects to dry gloves and paints during the night. They should have a kitchen to the guests, at least a microwave and a fridge, but the restaurant staff help me when I needed.

Great place right in the centre of Whistler Village. Getting into a pod was a little challenging at time, but great otherwise. The hotel also has a cafe/restaurant that is very convenient and there's someone at the front desk 24/7 which is super convenient and the staff is very helpful.

This place is awesome! Close to gondola access, comfy warm bed, cool roof top cafe to chill and apres ski overlooking the Main Street, friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Reasonable storage for all your gear. Happily surprised that my damp boots and jacket dried quite nicely overnight so they have some good heat and ventilation going on in that storage area. Would highly recommend this place.

For a pod hotel it was very good but still expensive, specially eating there , breakfast was really expensive, also it would have been nicer if inside your pod you have a small locker that actually locks; and a shoebox so your shoes don’t dirty the carpet. Shower rooms are small , smaller than what I saw in Japan . But very clean, nice staff , nice roof top patio , amazing area and quiet inside .

Pangea's location is remarkable; short walk to gondolas and surrounding restaurants. Food prices are creeping up quite a bit, 19CAD for a flatbread or 19CAD for a microwaved breakfast sandwich and coffee (doesn't even include the frozen potatoes). Staff is always great!

The Pangea pod hotel is a nice hostel, but I don’t know if this idea works very well here in canada😂 The room is also super hot as soon as you close the curtain.

Nice spot, right in the village in the most convenient area. Super friendly staff and very helpful. Had to leave my bags early in the morning before checking in and golf clubs in the evening and they were very accommodating. Quiet time in the sleeping areas was after 10 PM so it was perfect, slept all night without any interruptions! Roof rooftop patio with drinks and a really friendly staff up there. Definitely would recommend this place.
