Great experience from start to finish. Receptionists were very welcoming at check-in and there was a luggage storage facility which was uaeful on day of arrival and departure day. The shuttles to and from the parks ran every 15-20mins and took aboit 5mins to get there. There is a well equipped gym. We had a 2 bed studio which was perfectly spacious for the 3 of us althoigh as others mention storage wasnt great. There are 2 laundry rooms on the 4th and 7th floor which were really useful. All in all a great stay!

Excellent hotel for Universal Parks, International Drive and shopping. We had a two room Suite which was great, own little kitchen area with fridge and microwave. Staff more than helpful, restaurant was nice and not too expensive.

My son is autistic with ADHD. The convenience and perks associated with this hotel helped massively i.e shuttles every 10mins or so, mini fridge, early park hours. The pool also has 2-4 lifeguards at all times. It is no more the 3ft 6 inchs deep too so i could watch him play without always needing to be in there (he isn't a great swimmer yet), they have life jackets too. My only gripe was that the internet kept dropping and i mean every 10-20 mins we had to reconnect. We were on the 9th floor so i don't know if that caused issues. For most families this may not be a problem but for AuADHD kids, it can be hard to accept and caused multiple meltdowns. I would recommend paying for the wifi if you experienced this issue but this day in age, you begrudge doing that. Especially as most of your time is spent at the parks.

The rooms felt spacious enough and the beds were comfortable. The transportation to and from the parks was excellent as they came frequently enough that we rarely had to wait long. The pool with its beach entry was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well managed, the staff is professional and friendly. Housekeeping employees are doing an excellent job at keeping the place clean despite the number of guests. The amenities within the hotel, though a bit pricey are still reasonable. Did not like having to pay $26 additional for parking daily even as a registered guest.

Great hotel with excellent staff in great location! The hotel has free shuttles to and from all the Universal parks (Islands of adventure, Universal studios, Epic universe and Volcano bay) which was great. Nice pool area and pool bar with super friendly staff.

2 queen beds suite with minimal beach themed decorations on upper floor. Disappointed with slow- draining bathtub & no microwave. Great availability of transportation to parks, including Epic Universe. Friendly informative staff. Check-in/out was a breeze. Easy, quick purchase of theme park tickets in lobby. Pool was refreshing with lifeguards. Starbucks in hotel lobby was wonderful to grab my coffee just before the shuttle ride to the parks.

The property was fine. Seemed pretty clean although the floor in one of our rooms was a little sticky My mattress was Horrible!!! It was like a pad was on top of a wooden box and half of it was broken and sunk in!

We stayed for 3 days while we visited the nearby Universal parks. Overall, the hotel was nice and we slept well each night. I would have appreciated a heavier comforter or blanket on the bed. The floor in the room and bathroom were not clean; bring slippers or flip-flops to walk around in. We enjoyed entering the parks an hour early. We will stay here again.

Not going to staying here again for sure. Property was OK they do not clean the floors in the room. Found a few nasty toe nails clips and the dining room bench had a particular smellc not to mention all the trash that was trapped between the wood slats in that same bench. The pool was OK but if you want to relax, by the pool, this 3 1/2 feet deep pool will not do that. Other than that, the hotel is close to the park. Shuttels are easy to ride.

Everyone was extremely nice, had an issue with the TV in one of the bedrooms and they fixed it while we were at the park. The hotel was clean, and perfect location for visiting the universal parks. The only downfall was there was not enough places to put stuff away. Wish there were more drawers and hanging room for clothes and belongs.

The cleanliness, staff, and ambiance were excellent, and we truly appreciated being upgraded to a suite at no additional cost—it was such a pleasant surprise and made our stay feel extra special. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The only downside was the noise level. I could clearly hear footsteps and movement from the room above, conversations and activity in the hallway, and even noise from the adjacent room. While it didn’t completely ruin our stay, it did affect the peacefulness we were hoping for.

Overall, a nice value resort, with the key benefits being the transportation and early park access. The food options are ok (not a huge deal given easy alternatives for delivery), and the walls are pretty thin - especially when folks are coming back late on a Friday night, you can hear every word as they walk down the hall. One new annoying twist is that they've combined the bus for dockside and Surfside, which means a very crowded ride and sometimes not even getting on the bus because it's already so full from dockside.

Great hotel if you want to stay close to the universal parks - the shuttle service worked well. The food was good at the hotel restaurant. Be aware if you want to be in the room more it might not be the hotel for you - its a very simple room bed, bath, tv nothing fancy. Pool was nice but simple.

Nice property,upgraded to a suite. had to call the desk to have someone turn up the volume on our tv, as they only allow it to go up to level18..with no sound bar,was very hard to hear. The worker came up and mine you it was @8pm and said he’s not allowed to turn it up for us! Sorry not paying a few hundred dollars to hv to argue about the TV volume. Also the room needed to be wiped down better as the remote control was sticky. Other than that it was a decent place to stay.

Check-in was nice, very long wait, low number of staff. No one greeting or directing line. No promised early check-in arrived at 9:00 am. Waited all day in lobby, received cards around 3:45pm. Came a long way, offered to pay for room use. Diabetic and was very frustrated. Office was not helpful until I texted. Text was nice, reassuring our stay would be great. Tipped cleaners very well great job. Overall, very nice stay. Please get more checkin staff to accommodate full hotel.

Wonderful property! Clean and easily accessible to universal with shuttles to and from. Restaurant, heated pool and game room on site along with luggage storage if needed and gift shop. Starbucks on site as well. Many restaurants and other gift shops near by within walking distance and 24 hr Walgreens across street. Disney property is 25 minutes away driving distance. Will stay again

It's located in an area that has a walgreens, and a few restaurants other than the resort. The shuttles to and from the parks/resorts are great. We paid less than $10 to uber to Icon park... Which is where rhe Orlando Eye is. Pretty good location for keeping transportation costs low. Since you have to oay for parking pretty much everywhere you go, i found that rental vehicles cost more than planning ahead and doing your research.

Very happy overall, considering it is one of the cheaper official Universal properties. The walls are very thin; you can hear everything in the rooms around and above you. Clean property, friendly and helpful staff, and great amenities for the price. There is a ~7 minute shuttle dedicated to Surfside that goes to and from CityWalk (which also connects to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios). The shuttle was regular, but didn’t seem as frequent as the other hotels. Overall, a great convenient pick for a budget-conscious traveler who wants to stay at an official Universal property.

Great Hotel for the price. I would definitely come back with a large or small family. There are things offered at the hotel as well as several restaurants within reasonable walking distance. Also, its a quick shuttle ride to the parks

Check in was smooth, big open and clean reception area. Room was very clean, nice view of the pool, only small niggle was there was hardly any wardrobe/draw space. Grat location to.walk.along i-drive to some great restaurants. Park busses to universal were very frequent. Pool was lovely and the pool bar also great.

Overall, everything was good including the buses to the parks which boarding was right outside of the hotel.. The one gate through the property fence is locked at 9 pm so if you walk to Walgreens for supplies, it becomes a much longer walk.

Had a fantastic time however I called for a cable repair and ended up doing it myself. No extra TP in the room and the dinner menu at the cafe didn’t change. They had pizza which was fantastic!

Staying at a universal resort makes it so easy to get to all the parks. The shuttle service to and from parks is excellent. The resort pool is really good. Food choice good and fairly priced. As a value resort it beat expectations.

Perfect for a family with two teenagers and two adults. Kitchenette great. Ease of access to all parks. Pleasant check in staff. Mini market fine for anything forgotten but big shops a cheap Uber away. Food basic and overpriced but not unexpected given the location. Housekeeping was a bit poor - had to ring down a couple of times and floor wasn't cleaned properly, but overall a good place to stay
