HYDE Beach House Apartments

This condo building was terrible! There are about 350 units and only 4 elevators. We spent half of our time waiting for the elevator. And once we were in the elevator, we were crammed in like sardines. This is a huge safety concern and we would surely all die if there was a fire in the building. The pool and beach were incredibly crowded and we almost never got a seat. The building wi-fi did not work in the unit, and when I called and texted the host about this, they did not respond other than through the Hotels.com app, which I was not able to see during my stay since I did not have wi-fi. We booked this condo over others because we wanted to play tennis every day, but the tennis court was closed the entire time we were there, and we had no advance notice of this. No one at the front desk could help with anything since we were staying in an owner-booked unit. They showed no willingness to help us with anything. We were not happy with our stay at all and we will not be returning.

Handle was broken on slider door wasn’t fixed. Ticket was created for a/c hot in room was fixed. Pool was good valet great elevators need add more.

This place was amazing! I don’t know what people who say the elevators are an issue are talking about unless it’s been resolved. I almost canceled my reservation and stayed elsewhere bc of the reviews that said elevators are a problem. I had no issue getting an elevator over a busy weekend, the suite is amazing! From having 1-1/2 baths, a living room, dining room, spacious kitchen, wall in closet, his n hers sink in the master bath, and a balcony that stretched the entire width of my suite with amazing views I was impressed! The valet was very very accommodating, the staff at the desk and door were great, friendly, and really made sure that I got everything I wanted out of my stay! 10/10!!! Will def be staying here again! Don’t listen to the people complaining about elevators not once did I wait and was in and out from Thursday to Sunday. I’m sure many people left at checkout time as I did Sunday also which would probably be the busiest time and chance of having an elevator issue, but there wasn’t 1 incident! Great place to stay!

Elevators took incredibly long

Absolutely everything was fantastic. The hotel staff were all nice. It was my daughter's birthday and they gave her a bottle of wine to celebrate. The pool area was very nice
