Pros: Welcoming staff, clean hotel/rooms, brand new pool, 24hr coffee machine in lobby, free breakfast (no milk/no fruit/no juice. Choices during our stay were Waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt & pancake/sausage on a stick). Cons: Pool is around 4 1/2 to 8 1/2 ft deep so no shallow area for kids except the steps. (A kiddie pool or splash pad in the grassy area would be nice) Offer milk & at least one fruit and/or juice with bfst Check all plug ins in the rooms, a few didn’t work Overall: It was a good stay for the price!

We enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and clean. On our balcony the view was beautiful and peaceful. Pool was closed for repair but it looks like it will be nice when completed. Plenty of parking. For the price, it was what we expected. Nothing super fancy but just what we were wanting if that makes sense. Breakfast was included and they had a nice coffee machine.

Great smaller motel. Good location. Super nice people working the front desk. Almost all rooms oceanfront. Two minor issues. Parking can be difficult. At capacity I belive they might be short a parking spot or two. Breakfast is a bit weak, Ive had worse, but they could add a few more options.

Ok place. Pool closed but they also blocked off the gates to the beach. Not sure why they could not have roped off the pool only and allow access to beach. Had to go thru next door hotel.

Reservation gave no indication that the pool in the back was closed or that there was no hotel access to the beach. Overall condition of the hotel was rundown and the front desk staff had the same level of enthusiasm. Would not recommend.

Solid hotel. Not fancy but friendly and comfortable enough. Location is GREAT on a quieter stretch of beach and our room had a wonderful view of the ocean. Pool deck is very nice, though the pool itself is VERY deep. Had a few minor issues with our room door, which were all taken care of promptly. Great stay, would be happy to be back.

The pool deck was not available, back hotel still damaged from storm and not informed when booking and even after speaking with front desk before arriving that will not be able to use pool/spa and could not even walk down to the beach from there, so disappointed.

We love that this property is small and not over crowded. Everyone is so friendly, staff and guests alike. The pool deck with easy beach access is great. Tile floors, kitchenette, private balconies, and close proximity to great local restaurants.

The hotel is small and homey. It just did not feel nice or comfortable. The room had a stuffy moldy smell when we walked in. I found mold on the bathroom and damage to the baseboards and other small details in our room. Some of the towels did not appear to be very clean (had some black specs). The bedsheets were scratchy and thin. Bed was noisy and stiff. It was acceptable for a one night stay but I would not stay for a multi day trip.

This hotel needs a major update and cleaning. My room overlooked the ocean which was nice. However, the paint on both chairs and the railing on the balcony was peeling. In addition to the peeling paint, the chairs were filthy and I didn't want to sit on them. Several other guests had dogs, mostly pitbulls, which were left unattended on their balconies. There was the constant noise of dogs barking which was a major nuisance.

They dont offer maid service during your stay, if you have "too much" trash youre charged an extra fee, you can put one bag out in the morning or you have to take it to the dumpster yourself. All the stairwells smell like wet dog and is piled with air conditioning units and used as storage, and every evening for the entirety of our stay the smell of marijuana was overwhelming when sitting on the balcony. Front desk staff didnt really speak when you were in the lobby, and no overnight front desk staff was available. The bathtub drained incredibly slow, and the water took awhile to get hot and that was if you didnt turn on the cold at all. The room wasnt very clean imo, but there's guest cleaning supply stations on each floor if you'd like to clean your own. Theres a list of things you're charged extra for that wasnt listed on the original booking.The location and ocean view was great but I wouldnt stay here again.

We were not notified in advance that the pool area was closed. The floors in our room were not clean, very sandy and we were on 3rd floor. The offerings for breakfast were not the best. Individually packaged muffins high in calories, breakfast bars, yogurt that is high in calories, hard boiled eggs, and you could make a waffle. The room had a beautiful view of the ocean. Be aware the pool was destroyed by the hurricane last year. The hotel should at least put a cover on it. The room was smelly so was the bedding. The lobby was super cute with a lite breakfast. The coffee machine was a bonus. There was a least 10 different choices.

I liked that the check in and out were hassle free, hallways are quite to allow for a good rest, view of the beach was great, and the size of the room was adequate for my party of 3. Our room was clean. I didn’t see any reasons to feel unsafe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They are still working on getting the beach access and pool area fixed after a hurricane but still manage to make sure guests are happy. There is a nice little sitting area in front and beach toys for children to borrow. My family and I enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again.

The room we had was definitely not an updated room. The stove was coming apart and refrigerator was all rusted and microwave looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Dust on top of pictures. The beds are the worst I have ever slept in at a hotel, the floor would have been just as comfortable. My bed fell apart the first night and had to set the leg under it. They say that the sea wall was supposed to be open by this spring and the pool by summer of 2024 but by the looks of it, I don’t think that will happen. The pictures that are posted online are not what my room looked like. I wouldn’t be complaining about it if I would have had one of those rooms.

The hotel overall is clean, old furnishings but clean, the tub had stains, but it was ok, things were ok. we had a view of the ocean and the pool had green algae, it was not in use. they sent me an email about that. but we were not prepared to listen to the workers work on repairing a deck next door. bed was comfortable. I'm glad I did not pay full price. and the breakfast is a grab and go situation. Lots of Danishes to choose from

I believe most of the floors have been newly renovated. We were on the 5th floor and it had not been updated in a long time. We had a two bedroom suite and it was not good. The mattresses were terribly uncomfortable, paint was peeling, carpet fraying, and no hot water. We were there for a family memorial and luckily knew we only had to stay for a short time. I hope they get everything updated and remodeled soon. Also they were very good about informing everyone that the pool was closed and that you could not access the beach from the motel.

The room had the ocean view that I wanted. The desk staff were very helpful, courteous and accommodating. The room was very clean in all regards and the breakfast amenity was adequate. The room contained all of the necessities for a kitchenette designation. The elevator worked very well and was speedy for the 6 floors. The other guests were enjoyable and appropriately quiet. The access to the pool and the beach were great. I would have selected exceptional except for the bed that was not as comfortable as I would have hoped and the heat/air conditioning unit that was a noisy but it did function properly. That heat/a-c was a reminder that this hotel was not built in the past 10 years or so based on that unit.

Beds were surprisingly comfortable, rooms are good size and clean, all of the staff we met were friendly and courteous. The only thing we didnt like (personal preference) were the type of chairs on the balcony.

Front desk staff didnt really speak when you were in the lobby, and no overnight front desk staff was available. The bathtub drained incredibly slow, and the water took awhile to get hot and that was if you didnt turn on the cold at all. The room wasnt very clean imo, but there's guest cleaning supply stations on each floor if you'd like to clean your own. Theres a list of things you're charged extra for that wasnt listed on the original booking.The location and ocean view was great but I wouldnt stay here again.

Checking in took awhile. There was no one at the desk. A lady said she was in the bathroom. A half hour later the maintenance man decided to check us in and by that time there was now a long line of people trying to check in. We were given the wrong room and had to go back and get the correct room.

The front desk staff was very efficient and accepted our registered Emotional Support Animal with the greatest of ease. I offered her registration card and it was extremely smooth check it. Only had a small maintenance issue with the door lock needing a new battery. Our check out was extremely friendly just like our check in!! We look forward to seeing them again next year for Jeep Beach!!

While not the most fancy and exciting property on A1A, I definitely do not regret staying here. The room was spacious and clean. Some dishes and silverware were provided, and the bed was super super comfortable. The staff were always super nice and accomidating. Parking was spectacular. Even with a few sold out nights, we never had a problem with parking. Their pool and beach stairs are currently out of service for the forseeable future due to hurricane damage, but there is a park 100 yards away with beach stairs, so it wasn't a problem for us. We'll definitely look into booking this property again next year. :)

We enjoyed our 4 days stay here during the Daytona 500 weekend. Great personal service and hospitality at this small hotel nestled between two giant chain hotels. Great place to stay for me and my wife had an excellent view of the ocean. Place looked recently renovated could not tell it was built in 1985. The room was very clean and had all the amenities we were looking for and the tv we had was a smart tv with most of the streaming services on which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately because of the hurricane beach access from hotel was impossible but there was a public access just one hotel over which was like a 4 or five minute walk or you could park there witch was really convenient this was my only concern but I was pleasantly surprised would definitely stay again when we com back to Daytona.

Solid hotel. Not fancy but friendly and comfortable enough. Location is GREAT on a quieter stretch of beach and our room had a wonderful view of the ocean. Pool deck is very nice, though the pool itself is VERY deep. Had a few minor issues with our room door, which were all taken care of promptly. Great stay, would be happy to be back.

I stayed the weekend of July 14-16th and I really enjoyed my stay. The bedroom was a little outdated but they’re in the process of remodeling the rooms I was told. I really enjoyed the nice cold AC in our bedroom. That was the best working AC I’ve ever had while staying in a hotel. The ocean view was perfect. The damage done to the pool and the near by hotels was very devastating. But we made the best out of what we could due to the unfortunate circumstances of hurricane Ian. I would say overall my experience was very good. The staff are friendly, nice and welcoming. There is a sign that said “come as a friend, leave as family” and I really felt that with their customer service. The location of the hotel was not far at all from the entrance to the beach since there was no beach access from the hotel directly. So I was extremely happy about that. We will be back!

The room had a beautiful view of the ocean. Be aware the pool was destroyed by the hurricane last year. The hotel should at least put a cover on it. The room was smelly so was the bedding.
