Pool/hot tub closed. We typically like staying at this property as we visit family in Rochester a few times a year. One of the main reasons is for use of the POOL/HOT TUB for our kids and ourselves but this time, that amenity is closed and we did not know that until check in. This was not disclosed at time of making reservation. I definitely would have stayed elsewhere. They do let you use the pool at the hotel right next door but it was packed with kids and no hot tub.

Great stay outside of downtown, yet still not too far from Mayo. Nice to be able to hop on the free shuttle. Breakfast buffet was good! Excellent restaurant/patio on site as well!

Very disappointed to find out that the pool is currently closed for renovations (as of JULY 2024). There was no mention of this until we arrived and saw a sign on the front desk!!!! Able to use the pool next door - but NO HOT TUB. Extrememly disappointed in this as those were the only things we wanted out of our mini vacay - a pool for the kids & hot tub for my hubs and I to relax.

Helpful, friendly staff. Nice workout room. Our room was spacious (mini King suite). We were so appreciative the room had a blanket which we used instead of the duvet as those are so hot. Pool wasn’t working but we could’ve used the pool next door at the Sleep Inn.

Rooms were ok but public areas are in pretty bad shape, the pool was not open which was not known when I booked, the elevator would not go higher than the 3rd floor d/t a mechanical issue. The chairs in the dining area are severely worn and the walls in public spaces badly need painted. The location was great but the quality of the building will keep me from staying here again. Usually I have great luck with Comfort Inn

First room we were given had plumbing issues - the shower would not drain. Also, the deadbolt on the main door was not lined up so it didn’t lock. We brought it to the attention of the staff and they immediately moved us to a new room. Other than those issues, we had a good stay. The room was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable.

In the room, the shower head sprayed water across the bathroom (it was broken) and the bathroom faucet did not operate properly (water remained on because the handle was not operating properly). Staff was friendly. Bed was not at all comfortable--weak mattress.

Stayed with my parents and husband for a little family vacation. I had called ahead 1-2 days after having made reservations and asked for adjoining rooms. I was told by the woman I spoke with we’d have them. We checked in on 9/2 and we didn’t get them. The lady who checked us in was beyond rude about it. I told her I was guaranteed them and she raised her voice at me saying, “Well you didn’t talk to me.” She was on a phone call with someone else her entire shift. It was extremely poor customer service. She gave us looks and would mumble something that entire first evening whenever we walked by in the lobby. She was working again Sunday morning and acted as if she hadn’t done anything the day prior. I definitely won’t be staying here again. I don’t know how this hotel has 9.2/10 ratings. Unbelievable experience. Never had a hotel employee be so rude in my entire life. It was absolutely uncalled for. I hope something is done with her.

We always stay here when visiting family on Rochester and have never had a problem. Except this time, someone at the front desk decided it would be a good idea to place a family with small active children in the room above us! We had to call down to have someone tell them to stop it but we don't think anything was done and it continued until after 1am.

The front desk gal during check-in was excellent. She was friendly, courteous, and efficient. I stay here for my annual appointment at Mayo for many reasons, but really appreciate a friendly smile when I arrive.

This checked off all the boxes for a trip to the Mayo Clinic. The breakfasts had a variety of choices. The convenience of regular shuttles to the clinic, amidst the construction there, proved to be remarkably stress free. All staff were welcoming.

Overall kid friendly, however no cribs available, which was a bummer. Pretty clean overall and having that extended room with the pullout sofa bed was very nice. My 18 month old got fussy and didn’t want to sleep one night, so I took her to the lobby so that I didn’t disturb other guests, and the front desk staff were so kind to make sure I was okay, comfortable, etc. overall a lovely stay with excellent staff
