The hotel was very clean the staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast was excellent as you helped yourself too what was available we had one meal in the hotel restaurant the food was good but the service was very slow apart from that we enjoyed are meal. The parking at the hotel is very disappointing as there's signs on the walls saying this space or spaces are for blue badge holders/disabled parking only as we arrived back from are day out they was cars parked in the Disabled spaces not one had a blue badge displayed in there car told one of the staff at reception so he came out and took the car numbers and told us we can park on the side of the road which as double yellow lines on it was told if you have a blue badge you will be ok but from experience of being in this area before that was a no no so as soon as a space was available I parked in it when we went out next morning we saw 3 cars with parking tickets 😀 but over all the hotel was excellent i would definitely stay again

Room was clean and comfortable. Kettle for hot tea and a coffee pouch machine. Breakfast yummy. Chef was available to make omelette or other options. Also ate in the restaurant a few times. Good menu. The quietest air condition I have ever known in the bedroom - and it was needed in this heatwave. Bar was great along with huge comfy sofas.

Excellent conversion of old mill building with some original features incorporated into the rooms. Quiet room with a very comfy bed and great shower. 10 minute walk to the V&A and Discovery Point and centre of Dundee. Parking is limited and £13.95 a night but there's a multi story car park Olympia two minutes walk away that was £12.20 for 3 nights over the weekend (shuts overnight 8pm-7am) that had plenty of room

Great location for our golf trip. Clean and attentive staff. We got parking but limited space. Very good restaurant but slow service. Would stay again if playing golf in area and easy access to St. Andrews and Carnoustie.

Great hotel, only slight downside is the very limited parking. Although there are plenty council car parks near by. The booze is pricey to £13.50 for two bottles of cider but I suppose you expect it to be slightly more expensive in a hotel.

In general it is a very nice hotel. We found the beds to be a bit firmer than we might have liked and the charges for parking( if you can find a spot) are ridiculous at £14 a day. However all in all a nice hotel.

Lovely, friendly staff throughout our stay. Room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Paintwork on ceiling in bathroom not in great condition and grout around shower needs replaced. Breakfast ok, poached eggs were hard sadly but selection otherwise ok.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, really convenient having a marks and Spencers opposite as well. Quiet room. Few things to note: The beds are comfy but the undersheets are super hot so be warned it gets really warm at night The glass for the shower is so clean it looks like you can walk through it. Whilst a stool is placed in front of it I think it makes more sense to put a sticker on it like other parts of the room advertising the breakfast as I and I am sure others still nearly Walked into it Nice clean room but it was dusty only noticed at night when my allergies played up and then started to notice dust everywhere Overall a lovely hotel with nice staff but just wanted to make you aware of the slight faults.

Usually this hotel is good. Not this time. Housekeeping serviced my room by emptying my bin and making my bed. That was it! No replacement of coffee/tea, no wiping down surfaces, no taking away of dirty cups and glasses. She said ‘that’s normal, but I’ll take them away if you want me to?’ I then spoke with reception about my room phone not working - three times - they did nothing. Half their menu is pizza, but they had no pizzas when I ordered one. Their bar has stools along its entire front. If every stool is occupied, you can’t get to the bar to order. Staff have loud walk-and-talk meetings in the reception area, clearly not caring that their conversations can be overheard.

Check in was ok until they wanted to charge £50 to my credit card incase of any damages. Usually they take a copy of your card, not charge it. Breakfast was mediocre as the hot buffett food was either under or overcooked. Room was nice and spacious however they may want to turn the vacuum cleaner on before pushing it around, also the bedding was stained.

Fantastic hotel. The rooms are spacious, stylish and well designed. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. We loved the local touches like great local cheese with breakfast and copy of the Beano (written in Dundee).

We had a warm welcome at reception and were pleasantly surprised at the high quality of our room. It was on the top floor, at our request, so ceilings were sloped. The only thing that concerned me was the lack of ability to get out in an emergency. Location is a bit out of the way, but worth it for the high quality of the hotel and not really a problem, even when walking.

The room itself was lovely and I liked the brickwork ceiling. Bathroom was lovely and the shower was amazing. But downfall for the room would be the lighting was awful. So dark and dull. Only a small amount of lights. On site parking is very limited for the amount of rooms. I appreciate it’s in the city centre but when you are not familiar with the city it’s not easy.

The hotel is very nice and the facilities very nice, an intransigence of being willing to shift my second night to Newcastle due personal circumstances was a bit baffling despite me willing to pay more. The modern traveller has stuff happen from time to time and the reaction to those hiccups a can make or break good service. The staff could've done more but didn't and appeared to just want to move on as quickly as possible

I would like to thank Shivani and all the housekeeping crew for the outstanding work in finding my wife’s wedding band and engagement ring🙏 absolutely amazing. Hotel location is perfect if you want to visit the city center. Rooms super clean and the restaurant had some amazing quality food.

Wonderful hotel and staff overall. Only negatives were no late room service due to having no stock on both nights understandable with it being 1st & 2nd January but slightly disappointing but got an UberEats so all good. Secondly despite late check out and confirming this with staff and putting do bot disturb sign on door housekeeping still came into room 2 hours before checkout time while we were in. Otherwise our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Bar staff were lovely as were reception staff.

The check-in by Shevani was probably the most efficient and friendly I've had in at least 10 years by any hotel. For me, this tends to give you an idea of how your stay will be. True to form, the service at the bar on both nights was superb, the same efficiency and friendliness, i was due in to Dundee city centre and ended up staying at the bar, great engagement with all the customers.

Staff at check in were not very helpful Missed breakfast next day as was misinformed about the time The room was very depressed with windows in the roof Tv remote broken 2 towels for 3 guests had to ask twice for an extra pillow and the cleaners left a bag of rubbish in our room Was not told at booking they would be taking £50 of us whilst staying there which I still have not received backi. Parking dreadful told staff I had a blue badge but didn’t care that I couldn’t walk very far. Would NOT recommend to anyone or stay again

Can't recommend the hotel highly enough. The room was wonderful with some lovely imaginative decorative touches - particularly the Dundee Cake recipe! Staff were all really friendly, and when they found that we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary we received a couple of complimentary drinks too. It's those little touches that really make the difference. We will without doubt be back next time we visit Dundee.

Room was satisfactory, clean, front desk staff seemed to busy in their side conversation when checking us in. Dinner had to wait a long time to find someone to get our bill. Charge your for parking in a lot that is too small to accommodate all guests.

Hotel Indigo is really easy to get to by car, public transport and on foot. It’s also a good spot to stay in if you’re exploring Dundee - everything is pretty much within walking distance. On site parking isn’t great, but there are nearby options available. Love the individual look of rooms across different floors, as well as the use of the fabric of the building as part of its design - and the rooms being soundproof is wonderful!! Beds are super comfy and the lighting options are fun to play around with at bedtime! Breakfast is included in some room rates - there’s a choice of continental and full Scottish, plenty of fruit, juices and hot drinks in a self-serve basis. Staff here are all so friendly and helpful - the cleaning staff, breakfast team and the front of house team all gave excellent customer service! I’d highly recommend booking a stay here - you won’t be disappointed.

Nice hotel, bed was comfy but even with the air conditioning on the room was still a bit to warm for my liking. Breakfast, after being seated we had to go and ask for cutlery as there was none on the table, no plates when going up for hot breakfast, we had breakfast at 9 but their wasn’t much left from the hot or cold buffet but what we got was nice enough.
