The property was well kept but there were a number of maintenance issues that have been overlooked for some time. The shower door wouldn’t stay closed because the track was uneven and there was significant damage to tiles in the shower. The breakfast was not the best and they started to pack it away about 40 min early our first day. The pool/gym area was nice and well kept. The hot tub water looked uninviting and the water was barely warm. Honestly, the pool felt warmer. The staff was incredibly inviting and hospitable. They were very accommodating and always greeted you! The bed and room were otherwise very comfortable, spacious and clean. The hotel is in a very walkable area full of dining options and was very convenient.

This was a great place. The only thing we didn't like was there should be better pool signage. It said it was out of order instead of stating that every day they check the water conditions for safety. Both days we were there the sign said it, it's like they don't want you to use the pool. Also there should be a sign on how to open the door to it because you have to lift the handle all the way 180 degrees to open the door. I almost called and talked to a manager about leaving and getting a refund bc of their sign. I thought we could not use the pool. Just communicate better and update your signs.

The hotel was clean and newer. Amenities were great. Free coffee and Tea. Snack shop and billiards were convenient. I enjoyed the pool and spa after my long drive from CA. The breakfast was delicious. My only complaints were the door handle to pool needs to be replaced. Would not open. Needed multiple attempts. The ac unit in our room needed service it made a loud knocking sound while we were sleeping.

We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately it didn’t quite meet expectations. The main reason we booked this hotel was for the pool, which was closed during our visit — something we wish we’d known beforehand. Our room was overall clean, but the shower could have been much cleaner. The bed was uncomfortable and made it hard to sleep well. Breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options and a broken waffle maker. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the property itself seemed well-kept. With a few improvements, this could be a much better experience for guests.

Tru by Hilton always delivers. Modern design, convenient layout, easy free parking on premises. The lobby and dining area are always fun to seit, eat or just chill out. The 1 king bed room I had was spacious with clean bathroom. The gym, indoor swimming pool and hot tub are great. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Veey nice hotel. The staff was friendly. The pool was not closed.. so that was such a bonus. Our room was very nice. I loved the greeting on our tv when we got in our room. We will definitely stay here every time we come to SLC

It was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 young kids. We loved the room, cool decor, pool and spa and breakfast bar. The lobby was a cool place to hang out, it was so well designed with a pool table, TV and various seating areas.

The staff at this hotel are always excellent. From housekeeping to maintenance to front desk and management. They have always all been wonderful to interact with. The rooms are on the small side, but for solo travelers like myself they are perfect. Well kept and clean.

I booked the hotel because it was newer than others in the area. The Ac unit sounded like a dying cat. There were black hairs in the bathroom and some substance on the back of the bathroom door.

This hotel was SO clean! We couldn’t believe it had been open for as long as it had been - it still smelled new! My only complaint was I heard everything my upstairs neighbors said - not next door, upstairs! Every time they took a step it would sound through our room. Other than that, great stay!

Hotel is in a good spot, has awesome amenities but the reason for the low score is the rooms are small and the beds are rock hard. If you like rock hard beds then these beds will be just for you. The pillows are so flat may as well not even sleep with them. The worker at the front was very friendly and helpful when they were there. Probably won’t stay there again as the hotel room is too small and beds are too hard.

Our first night was in a room surrounded by noisy people and barking dogs (that weren't supposed to be on the upper floors). On top of it all, the AC unit was VERY loud - think jet engine on a freight train. The staff was very helpful in getting us a different and quieter room the next night. The hotel is clean and updated.

Loved the location of the property! The only concern we had with the stay was that when we turned on the ac unit it was loud as if something was in the motor. We just turned it on until the room was cold enough then turned it off. Other than that everything elsewas great!

Rooms were small. No place to sit if you wanted to eat in your room. The beds were not comfortable, pillows needed replacing too. Everything was clean. The staff was friendly and nice. The breakfast selection was not the best. Needed real breakfast sausage and some choice of muffin or sweet bread. Most other places we have stayed had more of a selection.

The west side windows from the top golf is so bright and the rooms don’t even have dark shades so it’s very hard to sleep. Got so annoying we had to leave in the middle of the night

Room was clean. Bed was lumpy and we heard everything that was going on around us. I understand that no carpet makes it easier to clean however having hard surfaces eveywhere amplified the sounds.

The property is clean, but I would stay off the first floor. The idea to put a pool table lounge area in the lobby may seem like a good idea. Maybe if the rooms were insulated better for sound, but they are not. During our stay there was a large, Extremely Loud family in the pool table/indoor recreation area having what I could only describe as a party. At 1:00am there were diaper clad toddlers running around and screaming at the top of their lungs. Neither the adults nor the person manning the front desk even have heartedly tried to stop them. After stepping out of my room to see the circus, I returned to my room and called the front desk. The employee who answered the phone made it seem like I was over reacting, and putting them out asking them to do their job. while on the phone and right on queue a toddler screamed and I could hear it just as loud through my door as I could through the phone. The employee's apathy was infuriating. Just pay the extra ten bucks and go to the Holiday Inn Express in the same area. Whatever hip vibe this budget "tru" chain is trying to portray is a total fail.

Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly except for the male staff at the front desk. He is a little harsh with communication. Location was goo, but it t was hard to get a good nights rest with all the noise from the neighbors talking out loud, random noises in the hall and noises from the Topgolf truck engine sound at 3am

Stayed here twice, super nice, clean, located next to Top Golf which is super fun. BEST breakfast we have ever had at a hotel providing free breakfast. Comfy beds, great sheets. Great shower. We will be back again!

Clean hotel. Room was mostly adequate. No microwave in room. Breakfast was only powdered or hard boiled eggs and some bagels/toast. No sausage, bacon, potatoes etc. Very disappointed advertised as full breakfast buffet.
