Excellent restaurant recommendation for us to The Bungalow. Very friendly staff, decent room, somewhat dated but clean. No pool or hot tub, which would have been nice. No smoking signs everywhere which is great, but pot smoking going on there too. I strongly dislike the smell, wish something could be done about it.

I think it could have been cleaner. Thy variety in our room was dirty and so were both bed spreads. The sheets were very clean, tho., as was the rest of the room. Doors to the issue are NOT locked even tho they have the card mechanisms. This bothered me a lot. I did not feel safe because of this. Id like to see more protein on the breakfast menu please.

There are no elevators. We were put on 2nd floor with an ice machine right outside our door (that people used at all hours of the day). Seems this could be concealed or put in a private area away from guest rooms. Hotel was budget friendly, clean, but needs updates.

Good location in Manistee. The hotel is generally clean. We stayed a few times in the past. This time, however, we found bed bugs. We were about ready to go to bed. My wife found a big bed bug and killed it. Then we looked at the bed. There were 2 bed bugs crawling on the pillow! I took photos and showed them to the front desk and was switched to a different room. The second day, Chuck (the manager?) asked for the photos and said he would call a professional service to fix the issue. Overall quite disappointed at what happened.

The bathroom smelled atrocious and quite honestly if it wasn't for the fact there was nothing better available I wouldn't have stayed there at all. There were stains on the floor and the bedding appeared dirty. I will not be going back.

Our first room was very dirty- half eaten cookie on the floor, crumbs and hair in bed, and a huge brown stain. Hair on toilet and in shower. Did upgrade our room- new room smelled very strong of cigarette smoke. Would not stay here again, hair all over shower. Spend the extra for a nicer hotel.

The bed was the worst thing I have ever slept on. So disappointing. We had a big day planned and I was not able to sleep at all. Paying that much to stay a night I would think there could be a bed provided that did not have springs poking into you

Room was spacious, we still needed a stow-away bed to accommodate us and it was provided for $5 a night which is reasonable, The Wi-fi was functional and free, breakfast was also free, not many options but still available for a good start of the day. The staff was super helpful.

Loved having water across the street and a view of a few of the bigger boats. Gentlemen at reception were super friendly. Rooms were homey and spacious. And they had tea, coffee, hot cocoa and cookies for guests 24/7! A wonderful bonus. :) Breakfast was a little sparse but a great value for the price point.

The staff at this motel was super accommodating from check in to check out. Thanks for the warm cookies at check in. Rooms were comfortable, well cleaned and maintained. Breakfast was basic but sufficient with the morning staff doing an excellent job of restocking items throughout the morning, Our stay was a great value for the service provided. Thanks

Stay was fine, until about 11 pm last night a power line was taken down and we lost power. Staff was completely useless, and didn't have any answers or help. We had to pack in the dark and go to another hotel at midnight, no apology or information given.

We got to the hotel early on Friday and wasn't sure if we could check in. Crystal{ I think that was her name} went above and beyond to make sure we could have an early check in. All of the staff there was very nice and helpful when needed. I'll be back next spring for sure.

First off, they double charged us because their system had a glitch. The desk person was very nice, but their reservation system was buggy. We waited for half an hour but they couldn’t resolve the issue even with help from Expedia support person who called the office immediately to tell them what to do. The decoration in the room itself was kind of OK, but it was very dated. The carpets were so dirty I hesitated to walk on it without shoes. The beds we very uncomfortable, and went too far down even with a 160 lbs person. They were supposed to provide breakfast, but it was choice of a small plastic wrapped muffin or an apple. Overall, I think they were overpriced and not worthy of a stay.

At time of check in, lady behind front desk was unprofessional and talking about how she just told the boss that she was quitting, and explained that she may not have a clean room for us. Door to room did not latch or lock because the hole for the bolt was not cut.. blood stain on comforter. Mold in fridge. Rodent gatherings under lamp. Uncomfortable bed. I want my money back.

Enjoyed our stay. The towels for motorcycles was a bonus & a great idea. Loved coming in and having fresh cookies waiting. 24/7 coffee, excellent idea. Why there is only 3 pillows on a bed is strange. 4 would be better. The staff was very pleasant, including the cleaning ladies.

Had to interrupt clerk on their smoke break to get checked in. Only then did I find out there’s NO ELEVATOR, and no rooms available on the first floor. My 65 year old knees are still barking. Was told later by same clerk no quarters available for washing machine/dryer. A tree stump could have been as helpful.
