Excellent hotel. Very courteous and professional staff at the reception. They even got us a taxi service to the airport for a fixed rate. The only thing was that our room was the very last one in the back of the building so the wifi signal did not reach. Otherwise everything the way it should and would stay again. Very close to subway station and walking distance to both Termini and Colloseum. Restaurants in the are are great too!

An older hotel which could have been set in the 30s, very tired and jaded! The room had a patio which was hugely overgrown with a tree, plants and a fountain. Shame, in its pomp, must have been lovely! The room was ok, but basic. Shower was fine if you are small, but at 6'+ when washing my feet snd legs you either shut of the shower or opened the door it was a good pressure though! I cant fault the service though, very 'proper' and helpful gentlemen at reception. It was charmingbin its way and in a good central location, 12 minutes from the Termini station and 12 to the Coliseum!.

All the staff at the Tirreno Hotel were very courteous. I had stayed in this hotel 60 years ago and it has truly changed...haven't we all in 60 years! It is still a nice, clean hotel and the breakfast each day was quite adequate. We even enjoyed lunch one day out on the enclosed patio.

In a good are close to the train station and to attractions. They had a nice terrace to sit in the evening. Breakfast was dull and sparse the same every day. Rooms were small which was not unexpected for the cost. Bathroom was very tight which made it difficult sharing with others and needing to use it to shower and change, it would be sufficient for a single or a couple but not for less intimate roommates

Perfect spot to stay, centrally located very walkable for all the sites in Rome. Front desk staff completely charming. The bar was not open which was a bummer, but the breakfast, staff, location, made up for it.

Room was unclean in most places, dusty surfaces and floors, the bathroom had black mould in places too. Breakfast was limiting to say the least. Staff were helpful though and the location is prime, so it made up for it as a 3-star hotel.

Stor mängd dammråttor under sängen. Hotellet var nog fint på 90 talet. Nu är plast blommorna blekta och allt är väldigt slitet. Frukosten var riktigt dålig, allt från juice till kaffe. Frukostpersonalen var otrevlig. Läget är dock toppen.

Ho pernottato per una sola notte in una camera tripla. La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, abbiamo visitato la città a piedi riuscendo anche a tornare in hotel per una breve pausa. La metro si trova vicinissima all'hotel, vantaggio non indifferente. Il check in è stato fatto in anticipo rispetto all'orario previsto e anche questo ci ha facilitato molto il soggiorno. Il giorno successivo abbiamo potuto lasciare i bagagli fino a pomeriggio inoltrato. Colazione accettabile. Albergo pulito anche se datato. Staff gentilissimo. Il rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Da prendere in considerazione per un prossimo weekend.

Place looks old, bathroom is small. We had 4 full size beds. But the place is in a good location, near to Sta Maria, 10 mins to train, about 15 mins to Termini, close ti a lot of good restos. It got a little bit loud outside Thurs and Fri late nights, good thing I have my earphones. They clean the room everyday, and they were nice. Never had issues about their service. They were bery nice and helpful. Was a little bit worried about the robbery review, but wasnt the case for us. Bed was spring, gave me back pains the entire stay. I would stay for the location and convenience but not for comfort.

Une chambre petite pour trois avec une fenêtre (avec un store cassé et des rideaux difficilement mobiles) donnant uniquement sur un petit couloir dans un coin reculé de la chambre. La literie est à revoir mais l’ensemble est relativement propre, et le personnel de l’accueil très agréable. Le petit dej était compris dans la réservation mais il n’a rien d’extraordinaire: ce n’est pas le grand régal mais il a le mérite d’exister. En tout cas, l’hôtel est idéalement placé !

The property is in a prime location, very close to Colosseum and other historical places. But that is pretty much all. Most important update they need is the bed. I felt the strings of the bed on all three nights Istayed. I ended up laying a blanket on top of the bed to lessen the impact but was not enough. A hotel needs to provide a good night sleep. This one failed it. Other issues, AC was not working well. I awoke many times freezing... The internet was not working well everywhere. And the breakfast was mediocre. I couldn't even drink the coffee.

Everything about the hotel was good - breakfast buffet basic but nice set out in the dining room - rooms kept really clean and the hotel well positioned to get to the town and sights. Reception Day Manager and staff were very helpful, efficient and very polite. Here's the but!! - on returning to the hotel Saturday night about 9.50 the door was locked - one of our party tried the door then rang the bell (as instructed on information) - she tried the door a second time to make sure she had not made a mistake by pushing/pulling the wrong way. When the Night Manager arrived he spoke to her with a really aggressive manner. He was totally inappropriate being very arrogant, using all sorts of hand gestures and raising his voice. He tainted what was otherwise a fantastic visit to your hotel.

The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to all the big tourist sites and the metro. The room was functional. They have a policy of leaving your room key at the front desk every time you leave, which is a huge safety concern as the receptionist gave us someone else's room key when we checked it. We walked in, saw someone's stuff all over the room, and notified the receptionist the room was already taken. The breakfast was alright. The shower had great pressure. The terrace was cute and the mini fridge was very handy. The receptionists were also helpful and friendly, with maps/suggestions/and directions.

The property is very centrally located with easy access to the metro station and Roma Termini. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The staff is friendly and we found the rooms to be well maintained and clean. Last but not the least the breakfast is amazing! As a whole a nice place to stay in central Rome.

Very nice hotel. Special mention to the reception named Aziz. He took care of us and arrange a taxi to the airport and still provided us the breakfast to go because we have an earlier flight. Thank you.

Me and my family had a really nice stay at Tirreno Hotel. The staff was very nice and service minded. One of our beds collapsed in one corner and they immediately changed it, just to mention one example. The location is perfect, close to everything but still quiet. Breakfast is good with all you need, yoghurt and boiled eggs included. The hotel is a bit dated, but that suits the historical district 😊. Wouldn’t want to have it any other way!

You pay for what you get. Lovely Italian city hotel. Run down , but it makes it unique. Budget hotel if you just need a place to sleep. However, paying a low price does not meen the place needs to be dirty. Small sacrifice for the price. However, the staff is not very helpful. Especially the woman at breakfast. She was SUPER rude. Shouted at me for placing a dirty mug on the right spot. Saw her shouting at other guests as well. Rude, rude and again rude. However, location is perfect, lots of good restaurants in the area, easy walking to all major attractions. I would stay here again if the staff was more friendly and helpful.

Pretty conveniently located halfway between Termini station and the Colosseum, a small cute bar perfect for a Aperol Spritz, a pub, a mediterranean quick eat and a small convenience store on the small street the hotel was on. Super friendly staff and room was great with well functioning A/C, wish American hotels was as well functioning as Tirreno.

Easy access to the colosseum and the termini. Slightly off track from the other highlights but definitely walkable. Lovely traditional restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. Very basic breakfast but for me it was adequate and I made up later with all the other delicacies of Rome.

Excellent hotel. Very courteous and professional staff at the reception. They even got us a taxi service to the airport for a fixed rate. The only thing was that our room was the very last one in the back of the building so the wifi signal did not reach. Otherwise everything the way it should and would stay again. Very close to subway station and walking distance to both Termini and Colloseum. Restaurants in the are are great too!

The location of the hotel is great. Metro lines are easy accessible. Colloseum/Forum Romanum is a 10 min walk, which is amazing. The room is basic but has all the things you need. Breakfast is also a bit basic and could have been a little better. Friendly staff!

3 kompisar som åkte och vi var supernöjda! Var smidigt att frukost ingick vilken var duglig. Att önska kring den är att det hade funnits någon frukt och att verkligen se till så frukosten räcker till 9.30 (ägg och croissant var slut en dag när vi kom ca 9.10) men annars bra. Supermysig gata och man märkte inte av att det låg nära tågstationen alls, var snarare bara smidigt till alla sevärdigehter! Vi alla kan tänka oss bo här igen. Extra + var den fantastiska restaurangen snett emot entrén (Il Brigantino), är där och ni blir inte besvikna!

A very good little hotel for a short city break. It’s very well situated and walkable to most attractions plus a train station to get to the Vatican. The breakfast, albeit free, wasn’t ideal and we did end up eating elsewhere so if you plan to fill up for the day it might not be possible with the offering. Overall, the staff were lovely, it was quiet and well kept and we had no problems at all. We also highly recommend the restaurants along the road, all are lovely and more authentic / not tourist traps.

Room was unclean in most places, dusty surfaces and floors, the bathroom had black mould in places too. Breakfast was limiting to say the least. Staff were helpful though and the location is prime, so it made up for it as a 3-star hotel.

Stor mängd dammråttor under sängen. Hotellet var nog fint på 90 talet. Nu är plast blommorna blekta och allt är väldigt slitet. Frukosten var riktigt dålig, allt från juice till kaffe. Frukostpersonalen var otrevlig. Läget är dock toppen.
