Staff was excellent. Very safe. Very convenient to shops and restaurants. Get proximity to everything.. tour arrangements were very easy to make. Everyone was friendly. Clean and roof top pool was great plus air conditioned small gym wirh restrooms. Because its next to the main shops and restaurants lots of music can be heard at night from the local restaurants and bars. Otherwise excellent olace to stay. Bes is super comfortable. Greatshower olus small fridge and major tv stations

Great staff and service, but amenities could be of higher standard. Breakfast was not great, the gym did not have AC etc. But worst of all was the noice from 5th avenue. We were on the 4th floor but still could not sleep due to high music outside. We asked to change rooms which they were kind to do. However in the new room we were woken up at 3 in the morning because the started renovations of a room next door. I think that is unacceptable at that hour. We went down to the reception and they stopped, but still. With a basic sense of service you should know not to start drilling in the middle of the night.

Great boutique resort. Very clean, staff was attentive and awesome. Location is close to many popular destinations for dining like Rockas and El Fogon or beach locations like Mamitas. The food was great as well. Nice rooftop pool. It’s more on the calm end of a resort. Super chill vibe if you’re looking for a resort to have good food and drinks, and relax in a clean hotel.

Great hotel. Had a problem with the room smelling like mold. We complained twice and then they shut down all the air conditioning to the hotel to clean up the system. The room smelled better after that. Not a lot of choices for food at the hotel. The choice that they had were prepared well. There is a Japanese restaurant that you had to make reservations to eat. They are only open 3-4 nights. The hotel was centrally located with a short walk to the beach and the shopping area. The shopping area was directly behind the hotel. The rooftop was awesome. The pool was great. Since it was a small hotel it wasn’t crowded which was nice. All the staff were super nice!! I would return to this hotel.

The positive was amazing price for a large clean room. The negative was nagging problems. safe didn't work and had to call twice. toilet was fragile. toilet tissue we found out the hard way had to be put in trash to avoid clogging, which happened once. not able to charge our breakfast to the room was inconvenient. water was not replenished. towels for pool require a card presented to front desk which have to be returned. the beach area was average but you have to pay to use bathrooms or rent furniture and it was crowded. meh.... other positives include a wonderful infiniti pool. great restaurants and shops nearby. i bought some nice things at a good price if you can haggle. I had great massages for 75% less than usa prices. Exchanging for mexican money didn't seem like you got a very good deal. All in all my opinion a 4 star hotel, not 5 but still a great value if you can put up with minor inconveniences. ac worked well. noise outside could be annoying unless you are at the all night partying. The resort was pretty empty but didn't even ask me if i wanted an upgraded room.

This was a great adults only Resort the property is small. It includes a rooftop pool 24 hour coffee and tea with cakes and fruits Coca-Cola and water in a small fridge. lunch dinner and breakfast is served à la cart from a menu. Drinks are available from one bar at the rooftop, breakfast is served downstairs in the lobby. Dinner and brunch is served upstairs on the rooftop. The property does not have a lot of amenities, but it was great for my stay. The only thing that I did not like about the property is that my role smell a little like mildew/sewage. Didn’t complain I was not sure if that was the scent of Mexico or the hotel. Plus, I travel from a different hotel called Ocean Zen, which was her horrible so this was on earth compared to what I previously left. The beach is like a five minute walk away, but the location of the beach was horrible. It also smelled like sewage and mildew at the beach. Probably nothing any American will want to get in.

The staff here are amazing. It is a smaller hotel in the middle of town; you can walk to all shopping and restaurants if you want. The pool is small and the food is ok and small portions are given. The public beach is walking distance and super nice, but if you want a chair or cabana you have to pay a price for the day. For $75 a person per day you can get access to the other Hilton down the street that has way better pools and cabanas on the beach but that part of the beach is rocky and unswimmable. Overall it was a good stay but for the price I was hoping for better food, a beach and more amenities.

I ended up checking out early. It has a centralized location for night life and is a few blocks from a public beach, but the scenery was disappointing. The staff members were nice, but the amenities were lacking. The restaurants had limited hours and items. The food wasn’t good and my room had ants.

Staff was friendly. Upon arrival the room was in need of maintenance. Smell of mold needed to use my inhaler. I had to get the AC cleaned and even with that when turning in the heat on a smell of mold came through the unit. The sink was clogged, the refrigerator would not get cold. All inclusive I don’t think so too many schedules to keep up with. Or you end up buying food outside of the hotel. The romantic dinner was not worth the price!! Food very average lobster over cooked dry and steak aswell portion was small. No roof top heaters it was cold and uncomfortable as they don’t have any indoor dinning in options. Desert tasted curded like it was no good like a freezer burn taste. The 24 snack area had a small fridge that made the food taste bad and seem stale. They were low on water most the time. The room service is also on a time schedule. Breakfast was slow. I expected more from the Hilton guess not!!!!

I came to playa de Carmen to have dental treatment so not a vacation. Booked a suite knowing I will be spending some time in our room. The room was large and airy and had everything we needed. The day of the surgery I had got blood on the towels. Housekeeping reported this to the manager who came up to see me. She was lovely and asked if there was anything the hotel could get me from soup to a dr. Even though I couldn’t eat my husband had room service and it was all good quality food. I will definitely return when I have to go back in January.

We stayed at the Yucatán with an all inclusive package. The service was excellent! Yessica, Epi, Ivan and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make our stay special and were very attentive. The hotel was very clean, and food and drinks were wonderful. The hotel has a very calm energy, which is great since the rest of the city is so lively. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach, a two minute walk to a popular tourist street with food, shopping and entertainment. My only complaint is that our room was located close to a venue/bar that doesn’t close until 2am or so, so if you have early morning activities know that falling asleep early might be difficult with the commotion from the street. Aside from that it was a lovely stay! I would definitely come back.

The toilets had very low pressure. You had to flush once wait for five minutes for it to fill again to flush again. Our pillowcases had dry blood on them. I felt the linens were old and needed to be replaced. Our bed was very soft. I think the mattress needs to be replaced. There were never any paper cups at the coffee station. only plastic. Who wants to make a hot coffee and a plastic cup? Breakfast was very slow. Not any fault of the waiter. But just understaffed. They should have two wait staff at breakfast. The stuff were very friendly. The management wasn’t that great.

Lovely property conveniently located (5 minute walk from the beach). Excellent staff. The hotel could use some upgrades (worn window drapes, sputtering taps, etc.). The a la carte menu is delicious and offers lots of variety for a few days (less than a week). The snack bar had lots of fresh guava that we enjoyed daily. The noise at night is great music but may be disturbing to some.

The a la carte menu is delicious and offers lots of variety for a few days (less than a week). The snack bar had lots of fresh guava that we enjoyed daily. The noise at night is great music but may be disturbing to some.

Great staff and service, but amenities could be of higher standard. Breakfast was not great, the gym did not have AC etc. But worst of all was the noice from 5th avenue. We were on the 4th floor but still could not sleep due to high music outside. We asked to change rooms which they were kind to do. However in the new room we were woken up at 3 in the morning because the started renovations of a room next door. I think that is unacceptable at that hour. We went down to the reception and they stopped, but still. With a basic sense of service you should know not to start drilling in the middle of the night.

The staff was excellent. The property borders 5th Avenue. Which is a very busy street with a lot of night life. If that is why you are going to Mexico then this property will be excellent for you. However, I did not and therefore did not enjoy very loud music coming from the bars until 2:30 in the morning, which actually seemed to get louder at 1 or 2 am. I am new to travelling to Mexico so I understand that is my lack of awareness, not blaming the hotel but would have been nice if that was presented in the information when making the booking.

However, I did not and therefore did not enjoy very loud music coming from the bars until 2:30 in the morning, which actually seemed to get louder at 1 or 2 am. Unfortunately the music from nearby clubs and bars is so loud at night (up until at least 2am every single night) that it is literally impossible to sleep no matter where the room is located in the hotel (our room was said to be one of the most ‘quiet’ and the noise was so loud it felt like we were in the club). We brought this to the attention of staff and the managers but no one seemed to care at all and all they could tell us was that that is the way it is for being so close to the Quinta Avenida. Obviously no alternative or solution was put forward and we had to essentially accept to have paid to be sleep deprived. Apart from the sleep deprivation, the food was overall good although there wasn’t much variety. Drinks / cocktails not very good so the all inclusive is definitely not worth having. When we asked for a packed lunch to take on our day trip we were given a sandwich and a yoghurt that we could not eat as the staff could not provide a spoon (despite trying to source one for about 15 minutes) - definitely not the standard expected from a Hilton. To sum up - not recommended and will definitely not be back.

I stayed in the king room with the hot tub on the deck. I was told not to fill it myself and that i would need to call a staff member to fill it for me. So I waited with the maintenance guy sitting on my balcony for 30 mins. Not 2 hours later , it was empty. They filled it a second time with cold water. Room was cleaned nicely except for the last day. Wifi worked well. Tv in bedroom did not work. Restaurant had only one waiter for all the tables. I honestly felt bad for him trying to take care of all those people. For the cost, I won't stay here again.

We stayed at the Yucatán with an all inclusive package. The service was excellent! Yessica, Epi, Ivan and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make our stay special and were very attentive. The hotel was very clean, and food and drinks were wonderful. The hotel has a very calm energy, which is great since the rest of the city is so lively. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach, a two minute walk to a popular tourist street with food, shopping and entertainment. My only complaint is that our room was located close to a venue/bar that doesn’t close until 2am or so, so if you have early morning activities know that falling asleep early might be difficult with the commotion from the street. Aside from that it was a lovely stay! I would definitely come back.

Booking - Unable to reach this property by email or phone. All phones went to a call center from Hilton line and Orbitz was unable to reach them Day One - Check In: They were only able to provide us a room with 2 queens when we specifically booked a nicer room with 1 king. The room they gave us was near the air conditioner fans and within a blasting radius of nightly parties so we couldn't sleep after a long flight and commute Day Two: We came to use the AC in our room after coming from the pool in the 100-degree weather and of course, it wasn't working. After the mechanic finally came to take a look they were unable to fix the AC and just moved us to the only other available room in the middle of the night. Day Three: The room we came to was on the first floor with zero privacy and even louder noises but what really pushed us over the ledge was when we came to use the bathroom in the morning and it clogged and overflowed with just urine in it. And so again they tried to fix and were unable to so they handed us a plunger and said to use this to flush Day 4 and 5: At this point, we begged to be moved to another room or hotel, or just to even get our money back but they persisted and continued to say to reach out to Orbitz for a resolution. This was our horror story with the Yucatana. THANK GOD we bought the package that allowed us to go to the larger and much nicer Hilton nearby. That was our sanctuary away to actually enjoy what we had left of our vacation.

Rooms are huge and rain fall shower was amazing. Hotel is showing it’s age. Service was amazing. Breakfast included was worth it. Side door of hotel opens directly on Aviendo 5. Taxi ride from ADO tourists Bus Station is 10 to 15 minutes.

Our arrival was excellent, room was not ready but we are able to use the facility and have lunch. 1st room was noisy due to the karaoke bar outside (I have sleep issues), flush was also not working. 2nd room was arranged due to aforementioned and it was perfect, not too loud, AC was perfect, no hot water but was fixed right away! It was very spacious! I just wish there are more plugs on wall by the bed. The best part was the staff, they were professional and welcoming! They were also very attentive and very timely asking us if we are okay and if we need anything. The food was also great! Not super fancy but they were delicious! I remember having 2 lunches or 2 dinners on some days haha! You need to try the marzipan flavoured drink, it’s delicious! Housekeeping was also outstanding, very clean! They make your bed everyday just like the first time you arrived in the room, it was like a new bed. It’s literally on the 5th avenue which makes the shopping, beach and the tour pickups very accessible! You need to meet Oscar, tour rep, just outside the hotel in his booth if you need to book some tours! He will give you some good deals. We really enjoyed our stay! I already told my friends about our wonderful experience. Hasta luego! :)

The resort was amazing the staff was so nice and easy to talk to, our waiters were so amazing during breakfast I can’t remember the person at breakfast name but he wears glasses and is so nice he get 5 out of 5 stars also shout out to our waiter for lunch and dinners Erasmo G, he was so cool and always talked to us and made us feel supper comfortable 5 out of 5 for him also are Bartendor for sure got our drinks on point. Definitely recommend this place.

We liked that is was centrally located! The staff was at times very good and other times not so good but not because they themselves were not trying their best but because at times they seemed short staffed and were not able to do their job efficiently. Overall everyone was kind and professional and tried their best to make us feel cared for. We did not like waiting to long to order our food and to be served our food. The first couple of days we did have to go to the front desk to order more towels. Not enough towels were placed in our room for 2 people.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and really enjoyed our experience. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. Their customer service truly stood out and nothing was ever too much trouble. We had to move rooms a few times due to rooms not being up to standard but the team handled it quickly and made sure we were completely satisfied in the end. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was excellent every morning, fresh, delicious and with plenty of choice. It was also much cheaper than most other places in the area which made it even better value. Whether we wanted something light or a hearty start to the day, the quality and freshness were always impressive. Although it rained quite a lot during our time there, the comfort of the hotel and the kindness of the staff more than made up for the weather. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and stress free. By the end of our trip we felt really well looked after and grateful for their hospitality. Overall we had a lovely stay and would happily return. Great staff, comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast and very good value for money. A wonderful place to stay, even if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

The toilets had very low pressure. You had to flush once wait for five minutes for it to fill again to flush again. Our pillowcases had dry blood on them. I felt the linens were old and needed to be replaced. Our bed was very soft. I think the mattress needs to be replaced. There were never any paper cups at the coffee station. only plastic. Who wants to make a hot coffee and a plastic cup? Breakfast was very slow. Not any fault of the waiter. But just understaffed. They should have two wait staff at breakfast. The stuff were very friendly. The management wasn’t that great.

The service and staff were solid all around. The menu selections for the all inclusive were minimal. I do want to say that the advertising for this property was misleading as it was made to seem as if it were beachside, but it was not. The Hilton Playa Del Carmen (3 blocks away) is beachside but you have to pay 75.00 per person per day to use the amenities there. Very disappointing and misleading. It is in credibly noisy as the hotel is located at the center of the shopping/night life district. If you want quiet, book somewhere else.

Great boutique resort. Very clean, staff was attentive and awesome. Location is close to many popular destinations for dining like Rockas and El Fogon or beach locations like Mamitas. The food was great as well. Nice rooftop pool. It’s more on the calm end of a resort. Super chill vibe if you’re looking for a resort to have good food and drinks, and relax in a clean hotel.

The hotel was very clean, and food and drinks were wonderful. The hotel has a very calm energy, which is great since the rest of the city is so lively. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach, a two minute walk to a popular tourist street with food, shopping and entertainment. My only complaint is that our room was located close to a venue/bar that doesn’t close until 2am or so, so if you have early morning activities know that falling asleep early might be difficult with the commotion from the street. Aside from that it was a lovely stay! I would definitely come back.
We stayed at the Yucatán with an all inclusive package. The service was excellent! Yessica, Epi, Ivan and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make our stay special and were very attentive. Rooms are huge and rain fall shower was amazing. Hotel is showing it’s age. Service was amazing. Breakfast included was worth it. Side door of hotel opens directly on Aviendo 5. Taxi ride from ADO tourists Bus Station is 10 to 15 minutes.

I recently stayed at a 4-star Hilton hotel chain, and while my experience had many positives, there were also a few disappointments, especially considering the price paid. •Positives: The staff was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. The reception team was incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The restaurant and bar staff were equally kind and hardworking, doing their best despite being understaffed. The hotel itself is beautiful, with well-maintained rooms and a comfortable bed—soft, but not overly so, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The location is also fantastic: right on the main street and only a 2-3 minute walk from the beach, making it perfect for both relaxation and convenience. •Negatives: Unfortunately, the service times at both breakfast and dinner were frustratingly long due to a lack of staff. The employees were doing their best (they truly deserve a raise!), but the delays were inevitable. Another major issue was the lack of an indoor dining option. The property was good and clean. The food options were not good at all! For it being an all exclusive your options were limited! Every meal was a sit down meal and you were unable to grab and go! Every time you ordered food you’d wait 1 1/2 hours. Most times if we had plans we had to do it around how long the food would take which a lot of the times it would run into our excursion times! It was not worth paying for the all inclusive part! The liquor was also bottom shelf.

For a Hilton we were disappointed. Not really an All Inclusive as they seemed to micro manage the food and did not replace alcohol they ran out of. The staff was nice seems like they are following some poor management and should have better training. Location is great! close to the beach and 5th Ave. Now that I know how it is we would probably stay again make adjustments for the right price!

Super disappointed with this hotel thought it’s hilton that I stayed but none other like one star hotel. Luckily the service superb but overall I’m not really recommend this hotel. I never known all inclusive has time limit only can start order liquors after 11 and no more served any foods or drinks after 10 pm. Limited foods,limited alcohols super sad to pay this amount of money for this quality. Was thinking to stay in reef 28 bcoz the name of Hilton. I chose to stay here but see what I deserved. ;(

The resort is beautiful, modern and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, close walk to the beach and the main shopping strip. The only down side is the food. Limited choice as there is no buffet and only a fixed menu that does not change daily. Flavour is hit or miss. The guac is always great. The shrimp pasta is great. Breakfast is pretty good too.

We had a good stay at Yucatan playa del Carmen. Hotel is a good value for the price. However for those looking for a true all-inclusive vacation I would pay up for a different hotel. Drinks were bottom shelf. Only one restaurant open at a time. Hotel seemed to be understaffed ie taking your drink order then seeing them run room service orders before returning.. food was good. Rooms good size and we hadn't made service daily

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and really enjoyed our experience. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. Their customer service truly stood out and nothing was ever too much trouble. We had to move rooms a few times due to rooms not being up to standard but the team handled it quickly and made sure we were completely satisfied in the end. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was excellent every morning, fresh, delicious and with plenty of choice. It was also much cheaper than most other places in the area which made it even better value. Whether we wanted something light or a hearty start to the day, the quality and freshness were always impressive. Although it rained quite a lot during our time there, the comfort of the hotel and the kindness of the staff more than made up for the weather. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and stress free. By the end of our trip we felt really well looked after and grateful for their hospitality. Overall we had a lovely stay and would happily return. Great staff, comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast and very good value for money. A wonderful place to stay, even if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Essentially, there is only one rooftop restaurant operating in this all-inclusive hotel, every day until 10pm. There is one tiny indoor restaurant but it is open only from Thursday to Sunday, again for a limited period of time only. I was told that room service is available 24 hours a day but actually it is open only until 10pm. So, guests who check in late or come back late from day trips need to rely on the coffee corner for food, unless they go outside. There is a limited supply of small sandwiches kept in a small fridge. There is not any microwave there or in any room. So, you have to eat them cold. The breakfast area could have been cleaner. The rooftop restaurant has other limitations. It can be extremely hot to eat there if it is a sunny day. Or heavy raining can ruin your dinner, which happened to me today. However, the busy rooftop restaurant staff and bartenders are very polite and helpful hard-working people. They deserve a praise and thank-you.

Booking - Unable to reach this property by email or phone. All phones went to a call center from Hilton line and Orbitz was unable to reach them Day One - Check In: They were only able to provide us a room with 2 queens when we specifically booked a nicer room with 1 king. The room they gave us was near the air conditioner fans and within a blasting radius of nightly parties so we couldn't sleep after a long flight and commute Day Two: We came to use the AC in our room after coming from the pool in the 100-degree weather and of course, it wasn't working. After the mechanic finally came to take a look they were unable to fix the AC and just moved us to the only other available room in the middle of the night. Day Three: The room we came to was on the first floor with zero privacy and even louder noises but what really pushed us over the ledge was when we came to use the bathroom in the morning and it clogged and overflowed with just urine in it. And so again they tried to fix and were unable to so they handed us a plunger and said to use this to flush Day 4 and 5: At this point, we begged to be moved to another room or hotel, or just to even get our money back but they persisted and continued to say to reach out to Orbitz for a resolution. This was our horror story with the Yucatana. THANK GOD we bought the package that allowed us to go to the larger and much nicer Hilton nearby. That was our sanctuary away to actually enjoy what we had left of our vacation.

Hotel is beautiful, very clean and comfortable room, I asked the staff for a quiet room and was given one! Also we arrived early and staff was able to give us our room in about half an hour as they promised!! All the staff we talked to was very pleasant and attentive! We had purchased the extra option to visit Hilton Playa del Carmen, which is very important if you want to have a beach access, more pools, restaurants and bars! Yucatan has only 2 restaurants and although the food is very tasty, it's very repetitive! If you are here for a short getaway is fine, but for longer one you will get tired of the options!

Stayed 5 nights. The service is on point the pool on the roof is amazing! The food choices are not a lot but the quality is better & actually the service is better than the big & beautiful Hilton down the street. The service & care makes up for the street noise & lack of restaurants.
