Stayed one night at this hotel and it was overall a good experience. Rooms are a little smaller than the average hotel room, but it was still comfortable and clean. It had the best sound proofing of any hotel I’ve stayed at in downtown Vancouver. Our room was set to a really warm temperature and we learned that the front desk controls the thermostats. It was a bit inconvenient to have to request the temperature be changed with them and it still wasn’t really to our desired temperature, but they did provide us with a fan which made a huge difference. The parkade has 7’6” clearance which was nice because we drive a large truck, however the stalls and parkade itself were still very narrow to park in. But we managed. Parking was $56/night which is unfortunately fairly standard for most hotels downtown now. Overall it was a good experience and I would stay here again.

This is a great hotel. Very convenient to Gastown and to the cruise port. One of the best fitness centers I have ever seen in a hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We have enjoy our time at the hotel, from the check in to check out, I staff was very very accommodating, nice and got attention to details. They provided us voucher as we had to wait for our room to get ready, which was highly appreciated. It was my birthday and they did do me 2 decorations for my room and I feel so spécial. The food at Hydra was exquisite, the ambiance was Greek and staff very nice. For the breakfast I recommend the Omelette and also the Cinnamon toast. Super delicious. Room were cleaned daily and the staff respected our privacy The only thing I did not like was the fact that there was no pools but everything else was amazing.

From the moment we stepped out of our Uber, the staff were friendly and attentive. We had rolling suitcases, which they helped us take inside through the side entrance so we didn't have to navigate the heavy albeit gorgeous revolving doors. Check-in was a breeze with the front desk staff even showing us photos of our impending room while getting our keys and settling payment. The property itself is stunning. We had a beautiful corner sweet in the 12yh floor that had me gasping upon entrance. Automatic blackout curtains covered the windows that lined the entire length of our room, with more glass creating a showcase for the giant soaking tub on the raised platform in the giant bathroom. Heated floors had me giddy to take my slippers off as I did my skincare routine and makeup every day at the large vanity. The upgraded amenities included in-suite espresso machine with accouterments, complimentary waters, and a Dyson system hair styling kit. Our floor also included a lounge and kitchen for suite occupants only that had fresh pastries and parfait every morning for breakfast, charcuterie and wine for hppy hour, and a continuous supply of bottled water, Coca Cola, Sprite, coffees, and teas. There was also a microwave, which I loved for reheating the pastries for afternoon tea. We are already dreaming of coming back to this incredible establishment this summer. We couldn't have been more pleased and impressed!

Great location for everything, a bit confusing when first arriving though as the reception is on the 2 nd floor but the concierge is on the ground floor, The rooms did not have any temperature control at all and had to call Guest services just to be told it’s a central system and they increased the temp for the room which didn’t do anything if so had to get a portable fan heater dropped off. Shower is awful nice modern shower area but the shower it self is not good , no control on shower spray etc Lightning in the room isn’t great especially as some lights were not working . Good high quality l’occtaine shower gels and shampoo provided. Finally parking is very good however if the gates are closed you have to call the number displayed to get the gate opened , we didn’t have a call plan in Canada only a data plan so each time had to leave the car and go around to the hotel and ask them to open the gate which really needs to be looked at .

Room was spotless and spacious. We were on 11th floor and had access to the hotel lounge that my children could grab light snacks, sodas, and espresso. The bedding and pillows are soft and high end. The staff in all areas were helpful and friendly.

Nice property but they need to train their housekeepers. First time in my room and there was a cleaning glove on the floor in the bathroom. Days after, i come into my room and they left a bag of recycled bottles in the middle of my room! I have Never experienced this in any hotel, home and abroad. Yes i was given a discount but that experience wont be forgotten in a hurry.

This hotel is excellent in many ways including: my room had a high end specification, friendly and very helpful staff, housekeeping of my room was exemplary, a great location close to the waterfront station. I would have given the highest score, but the shower wasn’t great -basically the flow was feeble (seemed like it had been deliberately restricted?) and made the experience a disappointing struggle.

There was no air flow in the room and the Co2 monitor was showing high levels, we reported it to the front desk and they said everything was fine (assuming this is because they checked it while we were out of the room). Regardless of the co2 being high, the air conditioning and heat did not work and there was no fan in the bathroom. This is enough to not recommend this hotel again. However, the rooms were clean and comfortable, just very dark.

Air conditioning was ineffective. Both of my stays here the temperature was set to almost 24 degrees and the thermostat would not work very well. Even after calling in the night to cool down the room it still did not cool very much. Also the shower in our first room had extremely low water pressure and our second room had no hot water

We were allocated “corner room” with a king bed which lacked floorspace or anywhere to put cases. There was also limited closet and drawer space as well. Staff offered us a change of room but for a two night stay it was not worth it.

Staff was anazing, friendly and proffesional. We arrived at 9:30 am after a cruise just to see if they would store our bags while we walked around. They did an early check in for us at no cost and were able to get into our room at 10:00am. When we go back to Vancouver I will definatley stay at The Exchange again.

This hotel is one of the best experiences 8ve had any where in the world ive traveled. The staff is exceptional in every area of the hotel. Jenny at the feont desk, Brittney in the restaurant, Shadi our server, Randy the concierge, Andres in the lobby and Jesse at the bat ALL went of their way way at every turn to elevate pur stay. They l9ve what they do and it shines through. Ive stayed in other hotels in Vancouver- but this will be my home away from home in this city from now on. Dont miss dinner at Hydra! Rooms clean and quiet -bathrooms large - walkable to everything. Great stay all around

AC didn’t work. Safe was locked when we arrived so we had to wait for someone to come service it. Front desk didn’t answer the phone several times. It’s frustrating to have to work so hard to get what you shouldn’t have to ask for. This place is too expensive for this kind of experience.

Clean room. Excellent service. Staff goes above and beyond to ensure their guests are well looked after. Turn down service included chilled lemon and cucumber water in a crystal tumbler, chocolates on your pillow, and ice in the ice bucket. We had to change rooms for our last night as the upgrade I requested at check in wasn’t available for the last night. Staff moved the luggage from the old room to the new one. They provided a complimentary bottle of wine our first night in recognition of a special occasion we were celebrating. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Like all the downtown areas in the cities I have visited, there are many addicts and homeless in the area. The hotel is very safe once inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was was clean and quiet. The hotel is located downtown 2 blocks away from the waterfront in Vancouver.

We just finished a 3 night stay at The Exchange prior to a cruise- absolutely stunning hotel very chic and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming as well as professional. Amazing food in the restaurant as well as a great wine list.I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Fabulous stay at the Exchange, staff are great, very friendly and eager to help. The concierge was fantastic in giving us great tips for places to visit. We had breakfast included and would recommend this option if available. Room was well equipped and was well serviced. The reservations team were fantastic in arranging a late check in due to an unavoidable change in travel plans. Location was great, close to main attractions and others easily accessible. Would recommend and would stay again if ever in Vancouver again

The only real advantage of this hotel is its excellent location, situated near to Canada Place. Other than that, the experience was definitely not worth the price paid. The rooms are quite basic and ordinary, with an overly minimalist design. Although the breakfast tastes good, the selection of options is very limited. Comparing it to what other nearby properties offer at similar or slightly higher prices—such as the Fairmont, I feel I did not make the best decision. I regret my choice; it is simply a basic hotel sold at a premium rate.

We stayed on the dividend floor, very nice lounge. We have stayed in about 20 Vancouver hotels and this is definitely one of the top ones. The staff is very nice and helpful, the room was nice and clean. We had trouble figuring out the fridge, but overall excellent stay. It is in the middle of other buildings, so not too much view and not easy to find a grassy spot for our dog. The pet fee is not too much, they provided a dog bed and bowl. It is a good place and truly pet friendly. Maybe there was a grass spot closer, but we didn’t ask. Self parking was easy, they sent a message before we got there, plenty of spaces. It was $52, but that is comparable to other Vancouver hotels.

We considered it a top notched hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The extras that came with the 11th floor we worth it. Definitely would stay there again the next time we are in town.
