Parking is costly. Poorly supplied: only one coffee cup in room; fitness center not stocked with towels or water cups.

The lobby made us feel like we had entered a time machine; the magnificent architecture, the stunning marble and inlays were breathtaking. Our room was quiet and clean and well-stocked. The staff are so friendly, always smiling and eager to help. The Rebel Room, however, leads the list of our lovely experiences. Amazing menu, the best meal we'd had in our stay...and it was a short elevator ride to it!

It was a very nice hotel. Loved the style. Definitely park in the parking garage on 4th Ave. Cheaper than using their valley.

I believe the overall experience could have been significantly better. The hotel does have a great location—it's conveniently close to Market Square, Point State Park, and the Strip District. However, the condition of the hotel itself was below expectations. On the very first night, the bathroom door came off and never closed properly. The window curtains were also broken, making it impossible to block out the early morning sunlight, which affected my sleep. Additionally, the body wash dispenser ran out while I was showering. Parking was another hassle, with limited options available. The hotel lacked several basic amenities. There was no restaurant, play area, or swimming pool, and there wasn’t even 24-hour access to coffee, water, or ice—something I would expect as standard, especially from a Marriott Autograph Collection property. Overall, I was highly disappointed with my stay. For a brand that carries the Marriott name, I expected much more in terms of quality, service, and amenities.

The building and interior were immaculate and so beautiful. Loved my stay. Parking was easier than expected.

Nice art deco feel with friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms and a fine restaurant to boot. My only negative is the homeless barrage on the streets of downtown but that is a municipal matter. Highly recommended.

Selected this property for its location and cool factor. It’s a renovated space with a very unique and cool design. However the layout is very weird when entering and leaving. Never got to experience the F&B amenities because they are not located on what would normally be the lobby floor. Overall great stay.

Easy walk to the stadium. Great restaurant and bar. Very cool building.

The restaurant was supposed to open at 7. The server was late…. So it just stayed closed. No manager went down to try to help…. Customers who paid for breakfast sat there until they had to leave.

All around great stay with the exception of valet. Apparently valet left vehicle in "reverse" when shutting off keyless ignition and vehicle\'s "ding" warning when unnoticed and drained the battery. We had to wait an hour for a jump.

Great rehab of an old office building. Room was very clean and well appointed.

Zero controls over the air conditioning. Either arctic blast or tropical breeze. Spoke to reception and the response was: “that’s how it is unfortunately”. My colleague in a different room on a different floor had exact same experience too. Also, shower had a few long strands of hair in the corner which were not mine!

Not worth the expensive price tag. The bathroom floor was dirty. The wall paper in the bathroom was visibly coming off, one of the tiles from the wall came off. Very noisy, they need sound proof windows.

Needed room for 1 night after college drop off. Room was smaller but exceptionally clean with a great bathroom. My second visit and will definitely be back.

Valet was very helpful. Restaurant was decent but not great. Good vibe but food was nothing special. Hotel is beautiful and I love the interesting decor at most of the Autograph hotels and this was no exception. But the hotel room needed a good cleaning. The surfaces were dusty and there was a spill of maybe wine or coffee down the front of the bedside table. The carpet needed to be vacuumed desperately. It was a great room. Very cute. We had a sitting area with a velvet chaise/couch that gave us more space to hang out. The AC wasn’t really doing much to cool down the stuffiness of the room and was extremely loud.

It was overall a pretty nice stay. Area is loud and there seemed to be a wide spectrum of humanity in the area. As a solo female traveler who had to walk around the neighborhood, for the most part, I felt safe. The bellhop was not attentive and there wasnt always someone at the front desk at night. The bar attached to the hotel was quiet. The lounge off the lobby was spectacularly decorated for Christmas, for sure the highlight if the hotel. Corner room is not worth the extra dollars because you just get extra windows in the bathroom. Rooms ok. Clean and dark. Central light fixture a little tricky to figure out. Can easily hear others in hallways.

Bathroom felt a little dirty and faucet would leak all over the counters. Staff was nice and check in was easy.

If you want daily housekeeping this is not the hotel for you We were assured on check in and each morning that we would have housekeeping but both nights we returned to our hotel to find out our room hadn’t been attended to. Very disappointing.

It's a shame, since the building looks so nice, but we had the worst time. The listing says there is a fridge. But it didn't keep anything cold. The front desk person said it's a wine chiller & I should've known that. So rude. Came back from a long day out and was met with blood stained sheets from housekeeping. Gross! When I told them, they didn't offer a response, an apology, or solution. They also only gave us one full size bath towel for a family of four. The next day the cleaning service never came. What did I pay for?! The staff was annoyed we kept asking for ice bc there wasn't anything to keep our drinks cold. The hottest, holiday weekend in a major city at a nice hotel and we felt like we were camping in a hole. We had to buy a cooler for the ice in order to just have cold water. Forget being able to keep food or snacks in the room! The restaurant in the hotel was supposed to be open for room service. But on Saturday, there was only one employee taking and delivering orders so my husband and I (after being on hold for 20 minutes) went down to order in person. We waited an hour for our cold food and brought it up for our daughters and ourselves to choke down. Huge inconvenience and really screwed with our schedule. I feel awful for the person stuck alone on that shift. Understaffed much? The only nice people were the valet folks, who just stand around and chain smoke but they're at least polite and have helpful info about the area. More to say, no room here left

The architecture is interesting. An overall theme of the hotel is great. Unfortunately the rooms are very small, even cramped. For the price they are charging you would think the room would be bigger. We did not experience any dining or other services as we only stayed one night.

Great bldg, small rooms

The entryway light switch did not work so you could not see anything when you entered the room. Also, the nightstand light would not turn off, it had to be unplugged from the wall. The pillows were huge and lumpy, the absolute worst of any hotel I've ever stayed at, not befitting of such and expensive hotel.

I wanted to love this hotel but it def has wear and tear, such as missing curtains. Additionally, no afternoon/evening room service, wifi didn’t work and it is unsafe to walk alone in this area - many sketchy people on the street around the hotel.

A beautiful hotel in a historic building, with its cultural integrity intact. I arrived early and my room was ready, which made settling in my first day a breeze. Comfortable bed and pillows, sleek shower with hot water and pressure aplenty, great city view toward the Duquesne Incline, especially at night. It was a convenient walk to dinner and Heinz Hall, and having dining options, a pleasant mike walk to the Warhol Museum and Strip District.

Top notch hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. My wife and I stayed one night and wanted a different “vibe,” and this hotel did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to help us check in before the standard 4:00pm check in time. The hotel is in walking distance to all major down town attractions. We loved the decor and amenities.

Clean hotel. Nice staff! Only problem we had was check in. We called and informed them we would be coming in late. When we got there, the doors were locked and the check in desk plus on the 2nd floor. We called the front desk with no answer. Lucky for us, someone was leaving so we were able to get in that way. They need a door bell or something for after hours.

This property is conveniently located in a historic building. Much of the decor is tasteful although I found the carpet design unappealing. The HVAC system was extremely loud. On the top floor it was necessary to have the noisy air conditioning on even though it was 50° outside, otherwise the room would heat up to 78°. I left a day planner with some important notes from board meetings and a medical diagnosis in my room and called the same day I checked out to ask if it had been found. Reception transferred me to housekeeping and they didn’t return my voicemail. I called again the next day and reception said the housekeeping manager would check and would call me. They never called me. Staff probably threw it away which is understandable, but they should at least have called back to let me know they looked and didn’t find it. Very poor service. Will not stay again.

Amazing staff. Friendly and accomodating!

We arrived at the Industrialist after driving 2.5 hours only to be told that they had no rooms available. I booked two rooms months ago. I picked this hotel because of it's interesting and appealing style. Very disappointed to be shuffled to a lesser quality hotel. I rated all aspects poorly as I never got to experience any of the hotels facilities.

This historic property was in excellent condition. The valet staff and the front desk staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking restaurants and some shopping.

This hotel is very central to so many things in the city of Pittsburgh. We walked to PNC stadium and PPG Arena, and there are many good restaurants around, plus a great park and walking trails along the river. The room was very well designed, and the bed was very comfortable.

The location, on paper, is great. The hotel is a couple of blocks from the market square and many bars. But, with construction everywhere, it was hard to enjoy it

Just a quick trip to Pittsburgh for a mini-reunion of sorts. Lovely spot to stay and the bar downstairs had great cocktails for a nightcap. Recommend!

The service was phenomenal! The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant was fantastic.

Room was small, but comfortable & clean. Bed & pillows comfortable as well. All staff was friendly & helpful. Had drinks at night in the bar & breakfast in the morning. Service was great, food came quickly & was delicious. Will definitely stay here again next time!
