Prime location just 7 minute walk from Shinagawa Station / Takanawa Gateway and all of its transportation connections (metro/subway, Shinkansen), it is a veritable oasis in the middle of Tokyo shared with two other sister properties around a green space. With the ability to access restaurants and lounges (i.e. assuming you book a club room which we did) across all of the adjacent sister properties, we always had choices on dining and relaxing. Add in an on-site 7-Eleven with its delicious snacks and Seven Bank ATM, we had everything we needed on-site. The staff were also amazing, assisting with getting our formal clothes we brought pressed and ready for a wedding we were there to attend. The staff also seemlessly handled forwarding our luggage to our next destination - Osaka for Expo 2025 - with aplumb. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider staying here again on our next annual visit to Japan.

This was one of, if not the, best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff was so kind and attentive, the spa was so relaxing. Get the Japanese breakfast in the morning, it was amazing & filling. The gardens are lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the lounges are a fun perk if you get them, there is gym access, it’s near the train station. Fantastic hotel.

I like the hotel location, very convenient for traveling. That save me a lot of time and stress. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and spacious. I will consider stay here again. The only issue was the swimming pool is under construction, my kids did not get to use the pool.

The staff was extremely friendly helpful and happy. The hotel was clean and well maintained. It was a 5 minute walk to the train station which was convenient. There was a nice gym, great hot tub and saunas. The lounge was great too. The room was nice.

We really enjoyed 4 nights in Tokyo in rainy days because of the hotel. The room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The staffs are kind and helpful all the time. The breakfast buffet was also excellent with variety of foods. The garden was in full bloom with Sakura. The hotel is near Shinagawa train station. Taxis are always waiting in front of the hotel so easy to get to anyplaces. We throughly enjoyed the stay.

The hotel itself was a short walk from Shinagawa station, so that was nice. There was a huge construction site next door, so the view wasn’t great, but couldn’t be helped. The rooms were basic and clean. The front desk staff and concierge were just ok- not super friendly. But the bell desk staff was great.

Great staff and very large rooms. Very clean but slightly outdated. Nothing to worry about though. Area was a bit less walkable than other areas in Tokyo. However, the train is right there and super easy to get to where you need to. Definitely recommend going to restaurant Karyon which is about 10min walk from hotel.

The gardens were beautiful, the beds were comfortable, the rooms had plenty of space for 3 people, the shower had solid water pressure, the toilet was in a different room than the shower (which was great for 3 people sharing a room), the hotel provided a ton of free quality toiletries, the breakfast buffet was DELICIOUS, and the hotel was a 3 min walk to Shinagawa station making travel so convenient within and outside of Tokyo.

Housekeeping gets a big thumbs up! Best turned down service I've ever had at any hotel. It was spectacular. Hotel common areas and landscape gorgeous. Rooms are standard. We ate at 3 different restaurants at the hotel. Restaurant staff either ignored us, or we got mediocre service. I never play this card, but after seeing how other guests were treated I wonder if we were treated badly because we were Black or American. Outside of restaurant service, the rest of the hotel was great.

The people at this hotel have set a high bar for quality of service, from running down to us in the street walking from the train station to the folks in the restaurant call us by name, the staff are friendly, polite, accommodating helpful. Arranging for taxi service that took us right to the line for the bullet train. The best ever. Room was clean and spacious, the breakfast buffet was great. They even provided an electrical adapter to charge the iPhone/ipad.

We stayed at Executive floor and the room was old, but clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was great, but the restaurant service was not so great. She, the restaurant manager?, seemed so annoyed when we showed up with the welcome drink coupon from Expedia. She escorted Japanese guests to the window seat and told her staff to put us in the back far away from the window even though the window seat had a plenty of open seats. And they put us on the ONLY dirty table in the restaurant. All other tables were clean. They wiped the table after we sat down. They did not even give us napkins either. Meanwhile, the manager was talking to Japanese customers on her knees and smiling. There was no annoyed facial expression. If the Welcome drink was not so welcome, why do they offer? Breakfast was the same way, we noticed that they only escorted Japanese customers to the window seats. We will never go back to the hotel again. If you are staying there, we recommend you stay out of the restaurant on the 1st floor.

The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo is a great option, convenient to the Shinagawa train station. We flew into Haneda Airport Sunday afternoon, took a 20-minute train ride and then a 6-minute walk to the hotel across the street to the station. The next morning, we walked back across the street and caught the Shinkansen train to Kyoto. Very convenient.

Very convenient location near Shinagawa station. Property was very clean and facilities were excellent. Staff was amazing and the ground were nice. I have stayed there twice - not the most hip area - but being near Shinagawa is great for the airports and day trips on Shinkansen and shopping at the station is good with Dean and Deluca and a very good food hall. Will go back again.

The Prince Sakura is in a fantastic location - within walking distance (5m) to a major JR train station. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful, and the breakfast buffet was well worth the price of entry. Lots of greenery in the attached gardens. One of the best hotels we have stayed in across five trips to Japan.

Good Hotel at a great location (very close to Shinagawa station). Has all the amenities. I would not give it a 5 star hotel rating, more like a 4.5 stars. That is due to the fact that all restaurants close for food at 9:30pm and that the front desk closes at 9pm. Other then that it is an outstanding choice to explore Tokyo

I don't usually leave hotel reviews... this is an exception. I travel so much, over 1000 room nights, and I generally don't review hotels as they are all the same. This one is different. Its a wonderful location, very easy to get to from Narita airport by train... just a short walk from the station By Japanese standards, the hotel rooms are huge. More importantly, the rooms are impeccably cleaned each day, the bed is perfect, and the hotel is a joy to return to. The morning breakfast buffet is overwhelming in its options for both western and Japanese selections. For those of you that appreciate history and nature, stroll around the gardens. They are amazing. Overall, a great value, a wonderful serene hotel with an amazing garden. I very much look forward to my next visit.

We stayed at Executive floor and the room was old, but clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was great, but the restaurant service was not so great. She, the restaurant manager?, seemed so annoyed when we showed up with the welcome drink coupon from Expedia. She escorted Japanese guests to the window seat and told her staff to put us in the back far away from the window even though the window seat had a plenty of open seats. And they put us on the ONLY dirty table in the restaurant. All other tables were clean. They wiped the table after we sat down. They did not even give us napkins either. Meanwhile, the manager was talking to Japanese customers on her knees and smiling. There was no annoyed facial expression. If the Welcome drink was not so welcome, why do they offer? Breakfast was the same way, we noticed that they only escorted Japanese customers to the window seats. We will never go back to the hotel again. If you are staying there, we recommend you stay out of the restaurant on the 1st floor.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at! The staff members are so nice, respectful and helpful beyond my understanding. The main breakfast restaurant is a dream come true overlooking a beautiful Japanese garden and Momoji trees. There is a walking garden right by the hotel that is very beautiful both at night and during the day time. The location is excellent with a 5-minute walk to Shinagawa train station, where you can take both the regular train and the Shinkansen. I also appreciated that although it is close to a busy area, the hotel itself is in a quiet neighborhood and gives peace in Tokyo's fast-paced environment. I stayed on a high floor overlooking the Tokyo Tower, and it is a sight to see for sure. A big shoutout to Marie at the restaurant for making us feel welcome and at home. Ricky at the reception desk for helping us check in early and making us love the hotel in the first 2 minutes we entered.
