A great location to explore all the adventures the Cairngorms has to offer! Very friendly staff who greeted you with kindness. The breakfast offering was great especially as I am gluten free. My room was well equipped and the bed was super comfy. Being on the side of the road my room rattled a little when a big vehicle passed but not a huge issue! A lovely stay and would look to book this again!

There is a pungent odour as soon as you enter reception. Room 6 would appear to be above a train station, where trains loudly rumble past until around 10pm, and recommence at 6.15am. The room was dated with an old carpet and furniture . Towel rail in the bathroom and skirtings hidden by the furniture were manky. Bed was comfy enough. The kitchen or some other staff quarters is below where they have a “who can talk the loudest” competition. Breakfast was good but had to go to Costa afterwards to get a decent coffee. Would I recommend this place…No.
