Female solo traveler safety - my room was on the outside facing the street on the very end. When I checked in, the guy at the front handed me my key and didn’t tell me where to find the room or mention that it was on the other side of the building. Unfortunately, I checked in at 9pm and right at midnight someone was pounding on my door aggressively and I called the cops. Being alone facing the street on the very end of the property with window access on the alley was not ideal. I decided to leave and had the officer wait outside while I packed. Because you can park right in front of your room, people at the street can see if you’re alone. It seemed safe and quiet until that happened. It could have been kids messing around but being so late and having your door banged on is not something I was willing to risk while alone. I was shaking. No refund, the guy at the desk refused and I ended up driving another 6.5 hours home! Solo females, request to be not on the street side.

Staff were nice and room was clean. Mosquitos kept me awake most of the night though. I have 20+ bites. Not the hotels fault, but wish I'd known the area is swarming with mosquitos.

TV didn’t get any channels he had to fix it and then the toilet handle wouldn’t flush the toilet. Beds are very hard. Not my preference! A/C won’t stay on fulltime. Got hot and woke up couldn’t sleep so I left at 2:55 am.
