We had one of our best family holidays to-date at the Falkensteiner campsite in Zadar. It’s a lovely location, with a fab pool, and Zadar is a lovely charming city. There are great restaurants on-site and also within walking distance, and everyone was super friendly. The kids loved the kids club. All in all a lovely relaxing experience.

Familienfreundlich und nicht zu großer Campingplatz. Die MobileHomes sind sehr schön und dekorativ gestaltet. Der Poolbereich ist etwas klein und das Wasser ist leider immer kalt.

The mobile homes are nice, cosy, clean, comfortable and give a feeling of 'glamping'. The full area of the resort is nicely organized with a private beach, swimming pool, restaurant and supermarket. The reception staff could be friendlier, however were very efficient and give us additional household equipment on request. Parking on-site free of charge. The resort is located 10 min drive from Zadar old town. There are plenty of bakeries, restaurants on walking distance. Also the restaurant on the resort looked nice and reasonably priced. The kitchen is very well equipped to cook. we appreciate the individual sponge, dishwasher tables, soap, coffee capsules. The bed is very comfortable

Vraiment très bien. Le mobil home était très propre et spacieux. Le camping est bien entretenu. Il y a de quoi se garer facilement. Il y a un petit supermarché avec des heures d’ouverture très tardives. Le resto paraît très bien. Le bar est très beau. La piscine bien agréable. L’accès à la plage est direct. L’anglais est bien maîtrisé. Le site est bien calme. Je dirais qu’éventuellement la distance avec le centre de Zadar est un peu longue pour aller et retour à pied régulier (Taxi à 10€ en 2023). Et autre chose ça manquerait d’animation en soirée.

Schon die Begrüßung war unfreundlich und wenig herzlich. Der Schock kam beim Bezug des Mobile Homes: Die Toilette war nicht gereinigt und wies noch Fäkalspuren des Vorgängers auf. Auf unsere Beschwerde gab es weder Entschuldigung noch Verständnis – nur den Hinweis „das kommt nicht so oft vor“. Für knapp 5.000 € in zwei Wochen erwarten wir ein sauberes Haus bei Ankunft. Stattdessen fanden wir Haare in der Dusche, verschmutztes Geschirr und Flecken an den Wänden. Auch die Bettdecken waren zu lang für die Bezüge und unten offen – unhygienisch und unangenehm, da man direkt mit abgenutzten, verfärbten Decken in Kontakt kommt. Weitere Mängel: defekter Wasserkocher, unregelmäßiger Handtuchservice, fehlende Anti-Mücken-Vorrichtung. Auf der Anlage selbst sind Stolperfallen durch Kabel und Schläuche, am Pool werden Regeln (kein Reservieren, Luftmatratzenverbot) nicht umgesetzt. Die Sanitäranlagen dort waren mehrfach unbenutzbar. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir das Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal sowie die Animation – besonders den Schwimmkurs bei Kadir, der mit großem Engagement arbeitet. Fazit: Für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp mag die Anlage in Ordnung sein. Die Unterkunft hat einen flachen Eingang ins Meer was besonders mit kleinen Kindern von Vorteil ist.Der nächste große Supermarkt,sowie Tedy und ein Tiershop sind ca.1km zu Fuß entfernt.Wir sind eine gute halbe Stunde unterwegs gewesen das war super.Kinderpool ist super und genau dahinter ist ein kleiner Spielplatz.Alles in allem für Familien top.

Super hyggelig sted, med gode udflugtsmuligheder. Både godt for pensionister og børnefamilier og par. Vi boede i en af overnatningshytterne til 6 personer og det var super godt med 2 familier med små babyer. Personalet var altid hjælpsomme og stedet var godt vedligeholdt. Supermarket tilknyttet havde et godt udvalg og man havde også muligheder undenfor området. Pool ikke opvarmet så man skal lige tænke hvornår på året man er der med babyer. Havet er dog altid en mulighed

Lovely three night break away. Mobile home was clean with a nice terrace with sun loungers and swing chair. We were a family of three with a seven year old daughter we had a three bed mobile home. There isn’t a massive amount of space inside but more than adequate with the outside area if the weather is good. All in all great stay.

Had a great stay ! The property is so pretty and the mobile home exactly what we wanted. Good aircondition, nice outdoor space and spacious living room. We loved the pool area. Nice to have a market at the property, er bought fresh bread every morning. We would love to come back !

We had a lovely stay in one of the mobile homes. The home is decorated very nicely. There is an air con unit and kitchenette. The location is good for access to the beach (stony) which is limited for use by guests of the park only. There is a decent supermarket on site. Travel to the Old Town is around 20 minutes by taxi (€6-€8 one way). Zadar is a lovely place to visit.

Stayed in premium camping. Very nice, resort nice, beach lovely. The only minor issue is no air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom which was very hot and uncomfortable to sleep

Lovely three night break away. Mobile home was clean with a nice terrace with sun loungers and swing chair. We were a family of three with a seven year old daughter we had a three bed mobile home. There isn’t a massive amount of space inside but more than adequate with the outside area if the weather is good. All in all great stay.

We had one of our best family holidays to-date at the Falkensteiner campsite in Zadar. It’s a lovely location, with a fab pool, and Zadar is a lovely charming city. There are great restaurants on-site and also within walking distance, and everyone was super friendly. The kids loved the kids club. All in all a lovely relaxing experience.

The mobile homes are nice, cosy, clean, comfortable and give a feeling of 'glamping'. The full area of the resort is nicely organized with a private beach, swimming pool, restaurant and supermarket. The reception staff could be friendlier, however were very efficient and give us additional household equipment on request. Parking on-site free of charge. The resort is located 10 min drive from Zadar old town. There are plenty of bakeries, restaurants on walking distance. Also the restaurant on the resort looked nice and reasonably priced. The kitchen is very well equipped to cook. we appreciate the individual sponge, dishwasher tables, soap, coffee capsules. The bed is very comfortable

Unser Zelt hatte ein Loch. Nachdem ich mehrmals bei der Rezeption war und gebeten hatte, das Loch zu schließen wurde hier nichts gemacht. "Wir geben es weiter" und "morgen kommt jemand das Loch schließen" waren die Aussagen von der Rezeption. Das Zelt ist nicht zu empfehlen, da oben keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist und es sehr heiß ist - ein mobile Home bietet mehr nutzbaren Raum (+ein zweites Bad und einen Geschirrspüler). Der Aufenthalt selbst war schön, für einen Urlaub mit Kindern ist die Anlage sehr gut und sauber.

Schon die Begrüßung war unfreundlich und wenig herzlich. Der Schock kam beim Bezug des Mobile Homes: Die Toilette war nicht gereinigt und wies noch Fäkalspuren des Vorgängers auf. Auf unsere Beschwerde gab es weder Entschuldigung noch Verständnis – nur den Hinweis „das kommt nicht so oft vor“. Für knapp 5.000 € in zwei Wochen erwarten wir ein sauberes Haus bei Ankunft. Stattdessen fanden wir Haare in der Dusche, verschmutztes Geschirr und Flecken an den Wänden. Auch die Bettdecken waren zu lang für die Bezüge und unten offen – unhygienisch und unangenehm, da man direkt mit abgenutzten, verfärbten Decken in Kontakt kommt. Weitere Mängel: defekter Wasserkocher, unregelmäßiger Handtuchservice, fehlende Anti-Mücken-Vorrichtung. Auf der Anlage selbst sind Stolperfallen durch Kabel und Schläuche, am Pool werden Regeln (kein Reservieren, Luftmatratzenverbot) nicht umgesetzt. Die Sanitäranlagen dort waren mehrfach unbenutzbar. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir das Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal sowie die Animation – besonders den Schwimmkurs bei Kadir, der mit großem Engagement arbeitet. Fazit: Für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp mag die Anlage in Ordnung sein. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt im Mobile Home jedoch nur dann, wenn grundlegende Standards wie Sauberkeit, Hygiene und konsequenter Service wirklich eingehalten werden. Besonders schade: Beim Check-out wurden wir zwar gefragt, wie unser Aufenthalt war – unsere Kritikpunkte durften wir jedoch nicht anbringen.

Overall experience was great only the tans are very close to each other- our stay was during October so we were there alone but in case of season it would be very crowdy and just a little privacy on the other hand sauna was great and the beach very close is beautiful indeed!

We had a lovely stay in one of the mobile homes. The home is decorated very nicely. There is an air con unit and kitchenette. The location is good for access to the beach (stony) which is limited for use by guests of the park only. There is a decent supermarket on site. Travel to the Old Town is around 20 minutes by taxi (€6-€8 one way). Zadar is a lovely place to visit.

Vraiment très bien. Le mobil home était très propre et spacieux. Le camping est bien entretenu. Il y a de quoi se garer facilement. Il y a un petit supermarché avec des heures d’ouverture très tardives. Le resto paraît très bien. Le bar est très beau. La piscine bien agréable. L’accès à la plage est direct. L’anglais est bien maîtrisé. Le site est bien calme. Je dirais qu’éventuellement la distance avec le centre de Zadar est un peu longue pour aller et retour à pied régulier (Taxi à 10€ en 2023). Et autre chose ça manquerait d’animation en soirée.

Die Unterkunft hat einen flachen Eingang ins Meer was besonders mit kleinen Kindern von Vorteil ist.Der nächste große Supermarkt,sowie Tedy und ein Tiershop sind ca.1km zu Fuß entfernt.Wir sind eine gute halbe Stunde unterwegs gewesen das war super.Kinderpool ist super und genau dahinter ist ein kleiner Spielplatz.Alles in allem für Familien top.

Super hyggelig sted, med gode udflugtsmuligheder. Både godt for pensionister og børnefamilier og par. Vi boede i en af overnatningshytterne til 6 personer og det var super godt med 2 familier med små babyer. Personalet var altid hjælpsomme og stedet var godt vedligeholdt. Supermarket tilknyttet havde et godt udvalg og man havde også muligheder undenfor området. Pool ikke opvarmet så man skal lige tænke hvornår på året man er der med babyer. Havet er dog altid en mulighed

Gut, aber Luft nach oben! Kleine Renovierungsarbeiten würden den Mobil-Homes langsam gut tun. Tür zur Toilette konnte nicht geschlossen werden, da verzogen. Pool überlaufen. Handtücher wurden als Platzhalter für die Liegen benutzt. Teilweise sind die Leute nach 12 Uhr, oder gar nicht gekommen. Wir sind 5 Personen und mussten uns 2 Liegen teilen. Andere Familien haben teilweise unnötig 6 Liegen mit Kleinkindern blockiert. Sehr rücksichtslos. Restaurant und Personal total überfordert, Karte seit letztem Jahr immer gleich. Preise überzogen. Lieber in umliegende Restaurants ausweichen.

Microwave did not work in cabin. Housekeeping took all dirty towels on 3rd day as we were told but when we returned late that evening we found they only gave us several new towels & it was not enough for the 5 of us in reservation yo shower. Went to front desk to get towels & was told he could not get them to us til the following day. SUPER over priced to wash & dry laundry in tiny washer/dryers.

We stayed for a family trip and the tent was just perfect. There is no microwave oven though. Loved the market inside the facilities, easy to get items for a quick breakfast before hitting the road. Located right ar the beach and about 5 km from the sea organ following tte coast line, great for a morning run! The staff was very friendly, no issued whatsoever. The only downside were some of the other tenants being loud and pulling an all nighter, since the tents are very thin loud noises can be disruptive.

I visit Falkensteiner Camp in Zadar regularly several times a year, but always out of season because I don't like crowds. I always feel like I've come home here. The mobile homes are located in a peaceful pine forest with a beautifully landscaped area around them, the homes themselves are well equipped, tidy and just the right size for a good rest after work. The staff is friendly and helpful with any questions, every compliment.

Everything was great overall. The room was clean, and since it’s low season, we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a larger room. The restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast was really good. The only downside was that the water slide was closed, which made the kids quite disappointed.
