Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel

The keys for each room hadn't been delivered and guests were forced to wait on a member of housekeeping or Bellhop employees to escort them to their rooms. Very unprofessional, and tough on staff who were frustrated and rude. The corners of bathroom were black with filth and floors were sticky. I threw away the sandals that I used for slippers. Smoking was allowed in Casino, so I only stayed 15-30 minutes. Hot tub was clean and perfect. Shampoo was cheap and harsh. Towels were clean and thick, very nice. The steakhouse meal was delicious, as usual.

I think the word for it is shabby. I hoped when ballys bought out this property that they would fix things up. They haven’t. It’s the same torn wallpaper from 20 years ago. Everything all over the property is dinged, scratched, ripped, cracked, stained, moldy, smelly, etc. the curtains ripped off the wall, the lamp rusty, the “fancy decor” in the casino broken and holey. Just shabby all around, looks and feels cheap. Half the Elevators broken, so there was a half hour line for an elevator. Just so not nice, the opposite of luxury. At least the price is cheap, you can definitely see why.

Had two elevators down so it was long waiting to get up and down on the elevator

Upon arrival the valet was closed. So we had to self park in the parking garage across the street. Ok. The garage smelled of piss and puke. There was all kinds of trash everywhere. So we walked to the check in desk. Where there were 2 people working the front desk and a line of 50 people. Took 30 minutes to check in. Got downgraded on the room because all the ones we booked were “not ready” and I wasn’t coming back later. We got a room on the “pet friendly floor” the door did not shut all the way. The bathroom floor was disgusting. The shower was slick and there was no anti skid so I slipped on the shower. The mini fridge had left over drinks from previous guests. The fixtures were nasty and old and worn out. Hands down worst hotel experience I have ever had. No comp on my room, no discounts for this trash stay. We only came for 1 night just to unwind at the casino. Stay somewhere else if you can when coming to Shreveport.

Nice,clean, well maintained for older hotel friendly staff. But becareful with hotel elevators some off them will crush your arm. I stuck arm in door to stop it from closing like I have my entire life but this one refused to trigger safety and reopen. It closed on my arm and was starting to crush it luckily I was able to pry it it back open enough to get my arm out. Second elevator from left 12th floor which out out for it. But learned a lesson don't always trust elevators

Hotel is run down and needs updating. It rained and window leaked. Wallpaper was peeling off and elevators were out of service. Our room keys didn’t work on the second day. La Spa’s steam room had mildew and needs to be cleaned more thoroughly. A lot throughout the hotel needs updating.

Parking was free

We stayed on a Wednesday night, not too many people, but the air consulting was turned down for a crowd. It was uncomfortably cold in the casino. Even made us have to go outside to warm up . Will probably go to a different casino next time

Nice hotel but only 2 of 4 elevators working. Down escalator was also out of service

Found blood in the sheets an on the pillow cases.

The room was just nasty, the carpet felt so greasy and not clean at all. The Tub was not clean and splatters of god knows what on the wall. Snot and buggers on the shower wall. Reported all this to the front desk, and asked it to be cleaned, they did nothing. Only 2 pillows per bed. Sheets and pillows smelled like the had not been washed in months if ever. Woke up to toilet and tub making gurgling sound, and room and hall smelling of sewage. Ate a the Cafe and the burger was so salty it was not edible, frys also covered in salt. Casino was nice, but they pump so much air freshener/fragrance in there it gave me a headache from hell. I left and went outside I was fine, came back and within mins the headache came back. Just needs better vent

They didnt clean the room after 9 days of staying in my room they said their policy is only clean once you check out. The cleaning lady tried to ask me to pay her to clean my room. No towels and no toilet paper available constantly, the phones in the rooms don't work most of the staff informed me of that situation and the room was never properly cleaned before check in. The front desk is in shambles and the Manager was useless. This hotel has become a complete disaster and the staff are super lazy. This is probably one of the worst hotels in Shreveport by far.

Very bad experience, they were small roaches in the room. Very filthy. For the price there are much better hotels in the area. Never again.

The carpet in the rooms looked dirty. We found 3 places throughout the hotel with puke on the floor

Room was not clean woke up to a additional 34$ charge that I did not authorize on my credit card property is run down and dingy

Room had big bed bug chilling on the bed. Charged me for changing the room. Still have the charge on my account, they wouldn't remove it.

The bedding was damp. The carpets were damp. The bathroom floor was wet. And we could hear a critter scratching on the inside of the walls. Won’t be staying there again.

Staff was great. Room needs a deep cleaning. Carpet is sticky and smells. The baseboard of the bed had mildew on it. (Room 617)

Room hadn't been cleaned and was falling apart. Wallpaper was coming off of the walls, bed was worn, sticky stuff on the bathroom floor that i called the front desk about but no one ever showed up to clean it (believed to be cola). Room smelled. Bathroom didn't vent. Carpet was stained, Furniture was stained. Room phone didn't work.

Convenient location from highway and downtown. Large room with Jacuzzi, river view. Huge casino area. Next to other park casino. Friendly staff.

Spacious room…large bathroom…. Enjoyed the stay.

Room was clean and spacious, but still had the 2 armchairs from original Hollywood years ago. Updating would be good. A/c worked good, and bed was very comfortable. Casino had a decent variety of new slots, but room for many more.

I didn't like the fact that the room had no microwave

Only flaws were the Wi-Fi, it didn’t work in my room so I had complications with a work meeting. You can tell the rooms are older with dents in the wall, door, and smells in the elevator areas. I wouldn’t list it as a 4* hotel. I wish they had a goodie bag, bags for pets as there is a fee we have to pay for them to be there. Valet parking is not 24 hours which was inconvenient for me as well. The staff was the best part! They were really helpful when I had questions, outside of being understaffed in the casino portion. They greeted everytime I saw someone and the front desk staff were helpful and friendly ✨💕 Fyi, the room keys stopped working at exactly eleven, there was no grace period.

Overall the room was really nice besides the shower pressure. I would have liked a microwave as well.

Not the cleanest. Bedding was clean but the bathroom and walls, not so much. I had to clean the tub before my kid could take a bath. Walls are really thin and you can hear every conversation in the next room.

It was nice but the air conditioner was not working they came in and changed filter but about 3 in the morning it was getting uncomfortable we told them the next morning but nothing was said they just said sorry to hear that

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bathroom was large and the bed was comfortable. I will stay there again.

Ballys was unable to accommodate the reservation. Room promised for 4:00pm not available at 7:00pm or 9:00pm.

Great Stay. Very clean, modern, comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. Had great recommendations for great places to eat, and other entertainment in the area. I had an Issue with my room key not working and they were wonderful in getting me another room. Will stay here again.

The staff did the best they could given the seemingly poor management of this property. When we arrived they did not have the room we reserved and stated it was because they were overbooked. Staff made it better by giving us a suite at the rate we booked. The Vintage staff and food was great. Breakfast was not a great experience - it took 45 min to receive our food (after we asked why it was so delayed) with no one checking to refill coffee or drinks in the meantime. When meals finally came we were told they ran out of hashbrowns. We were not given an option to choose something different they just provided grits. We asked for pancakes in place which was granted except we had not received after 15 minutes. We decided to leave. No comps offered. We think they were understaffed or staff was simply not supported. Also, many of the slot machines were down and no one was willing to help us figure things out on the casino floor.

Food was good. Checking in was terrible. Took 45 mins

No staff would answer the phone. Couldn't get any room service. Was told to call back in an hour when someone finally did answer the phone. I've canceled my next stay

My stay was turning out very well when I checked in with Erica at the front desk. She arranged a very good room for me away from everyone away from the elevators. I had a very good night's rest. As I was packing my bags and leaving the next day I left and about 20 minutes down the road realize that I had left behind my dirty clothes bag I called the hotel they transferred me to security and Security advised me that they would bring down my dirty clothes from the room and put it at the front desk. Upon arrival to the hotel they advised me that the bag never made it down and that it was never in the room I asked the front desk if I can go up there and check the room they gave me a card and I went up there. The room was already being addressed by housekeeping. All the garbage was already thrown out as well as all the sheets I go out to the cart that was sitting outside the door and lo and behold was my bag with my dirty clothes. Covered in all sorts of sauces and everything from other people's garbage. I did not appreciate this from the hotel. I would have expected whoever grabbed the bag and threw it in the garbage that they would have looked inside and saw that it was not garbage that it was clothing. But this does not reflect at all on the front desk. Only on the security and the housekeeping. Granted there was construction going on outside so it kind of took away from the curb appeal but that did not at all Hinder my stay. I would stay here again

Had an enjoyable stay here with no complaints except of how long it took to get checked in. There was a line of people waiting to get checked in by just 2 people working. I’m assuming there was several events in town.

How do you overbook by 200 rooms?!?! We booked and paid through Expedia and our room was secured. We drove 3 hours to stand in line for 45 minutes just to spend another 10 minutes waiting at the desk to be told “we have no rooms available, they left reservations open instead of closing them.” How much truth there is to this statement Id love to know, I don’t understand how the people in front of us got a room but we lucked out?!?! We already paid!!!

Overall good experience. A lot of homeless people in the immediate vicinity and parking garage the smells of urine. Only issue with the room was no housekeeping and when I asked to have my bed linens changed while at a meeting I was told housekeeping doesn’t change bedding the guest has to.

Great hotel, the area was a little run down with a few homeless people walking around near the entrance. The room was pretty clean with a few areas that was dirty but still tolerable. I would definitely stay here again all things considered.

We stayed just one night while passing through. Normally, we stay in a smaller town further east but wanted to check out Shreveport for a change. Since it was a midweek night there wasn't much happening. The hotel was fine, rooms were fine and we liked the casino. There was really nothing open in the hotel nor was there anything nearby as far as shops and restaurants. Price was cheap and enjoyed the gambling but the crowd here is a bit rough. No surprise there. I'd stay here again for the price.

The Vintage restaurant is a must at Bally’s. The staff is superb. The casino staff was quite friendly and knowledgeable.

Booked room while traveling, arrived later in the evening when we went down stairs for dinner we discovered restaurants were closed prior to times stated. Had to order from uber.

Additional luggage carts need to be available. Room Service # on phone doesn’t work

The casino and lobby areas were clean and overall a pleasant experience. The "Vintage" restaurant was exceptional. The service was great, the food was amazing and although pricey, was consistent with the service and quality. The "Sportsmans Paradise" restaurant was not a good experience. We tried it for breakfast and our orders were simple, two southwest omelets. After 45 minutes, we were told the were waiting on the hash browns and our omelets had been sitting on the counter for about 20 minutes. We chose to go somewhere else to have a meal. The hotel room was disappointing. The room was not clean, the carpet needed replacing, the lamp on the desk had corrosion around the charging plugs, and the tile was chipped and dirty. My wife refused to walk barefoot in the room. We may return to the casino but definately will not stay at the hotel unless major changes have beebn made.

I was disappointed that there is very few venues open on Monday in the hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights and the room was not cleaned at all during our visit even though we were out of the room all day. We ate at the Sportsman cafe and the eggs were not cooked as ordered. When the brought eggs cooked the right way they were cold. Very few dining options at the hotel. The entire place is outdated and needs to be refreshed.

On Tuesdays, the restaurants are all closed. There’s a lot of construction going on out front, but the staff is very friendly overall with a few exceptions. There was a new fella at the deli downstairs Jason or Jaylin, who was doing an awesome job as a new employee. We enjoyed the gambling floor and the games were all very exciting. Lovely town of Shreveport and across the street is to Sandra‘s on the riverfront. The price was excellent and better than a military rate ha ha ha. Thank you for a fun day overall.!

The hotel casino was great and friendly. Our hallway smelled TERRIBLE of weed and it was extremely unpleasant. Our room only had three small towels to use for the entire stay, the bathroom and entrance floor was tile and SUOER slick with air conditioning and steam from bathroom, no floor mat or towels to avoid slipping. The sportsman’s cafe was awful. The waitresses took forever. The prices were outrageous at the lobby coffee station. For the cost of stay there, I would have like a much better experience.

The only thing i complain about is the room service was not working

Vintage Steakhouse food and service were excellent. All the staff from restaurants, check-in and casino were top notch.
