Hotel located in the Venetian part of Chania, close to many taverns, shops and beaches. Staff were wonderful and helpful when required. The room we had was spacious and nicely restored. Common area balcony overlooked the harbor and was a great place to relax during the evenings. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Really great place to stay. Right over at a restaurant right on the harbor. Make sure you opt for the breakfast which is probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The food in the restaurant downstairs is also out of this world.

Das Hotel hat eine optimale Lage, in der Altstadt direkt am Wasser und trotzdem ruhig. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, und das Personal außerordentlich freundlich. Es gibt täglich frisch gepressten O-Saft. Einziger Nachteil: Man kommt nicht mit dem Auto an das Hotel.

Hotel dans bâtiment ancien au cœur de la vieille ville - superbe- de Chania. Personnel très sympathique, situation très agréable. La vieille ville est entièrement piétonne, le parking le plus proche est à 250 m. Superbe étape à Chania.

We absolutely loved our stay at Amphora! It was a quick walk from where our taxi dropped us off. We stayed in the triple room with a sea view. It was perfect for our family of 4 and the view was incredible. Anita, the receptionist made our stay wonderful. The restaurant was exceptional. Amazing service and they don’t harass you like many of the other restaurants there do. I can not recommend this hotel more! If we are ever back in Chania, we will be staying there again for sure!

This hotel is located in the Venetian Harbor, right in the middle of the old town. The building is an historical building with views over the water from many rooms. A wonderful feature of the hotel are the two terraces on the roof, where you can relax and enjoy the view of the harbor and the shops! I found the staff attentive and helpful. If you have any requests, just let them know- they'll help out any way they can. Rooms seem well renovated. The ceiling height in my room was impressive, as were the windows in all directions. The decor is light and minimalist. As a Scandinavian I felt right at home. Everything is clean and well maintained. Beds are soft but firm. Pillows might be on the firm side for some. Bathrooms are clean, well-maintained and spacious. On the ground floor of the hotel is a restaurant where breakfast is served. Breakfast is an excellent Mediterranean-style buffet, which varies somewhat from day to day. In the evenings, the restaurant is alive with guests. Try the food, its good! Any negatives? Well, only slight ones. - The fridge in the room was a bit small. Only one or two 1,5 liter water bottles will fit. - There are only stairs inside the property, and they are a bit steep if your balance is poor or for small children. - The chimney from the restaurant comes out on the smaller roof terrace. This means that you might smell the (delicious) cooking going on. This is in no way intrusive, but it might make you very hungry.

This little hotel is honestly the perfect place. It has such character with its courtyard and winding hallways, the room I had was spacious and clean and the AC was amazing after a hot day out at the beaches! The service from the staff was top notch, they treat you like family not like another hotel guest! Its location is also hard to beat! Right on the water near the old bay, restaurants and shopping everywhere yet the pace at the hotel is still very relaxed! The breakfast was also amazing! I truly enjoyed my stay here and will absolutely be back in the future!

Dopo poco, sempre prima dell'orario di check in, ci hanno telefonato per informarci che la stanza era pronta. Stanza molto curata, pulita e dotata di ogni confort. Siamo stati bene e coccolati

I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Amphora Hotel. The location was incredible, the view from the balcony couldn't have been better, and the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The only thing that I could say that wasn't glowingly positive was that I could hear people in the neighboring room, but I'm sure that's common in these older hotels. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

This hotel is located in the Venetian Harbor, right in the middle of the old town. The building is an historical building with views over the water from many rooms. A wonderful feature of the hotel are the two terraces on the roof, where you can relax and enjoy the view of the harbor and the shops! I found the staff attentive and helpful. If you have any requests, just let them know- they'll help out any way they can. Rooms seem well renovated. The ceiling height in my room was impressive, as were the windows in all directions. The decor is light and minimalist. As a Scandinavian I felt right at home. Everything is clean and well maintained. Beds are soft but firm. Pillows might be on the firm side for some. Bathrooms are clean, well-maintained and spacious. On the ground floor of the hotel is a restaurant where breakfast is served. Breakfast is an excellent Mediterranean-style buffet, which varies somewhat from day to day. In the evenings, the restaurant is alive with guests. Try the food, its good! Any negatives? Well, only slight ones. - The fridge in the room was a bit small. Only one or two 1,5 liter water bottles will fit. - There are only stairs inside the property, and they are a bit steep if your balance is poor or for small children. - The chimney from the restaurant comes out on the smaller roof terrace. We absolutely loved our stay at Amphora! It was a quick walk from where our taxi dropped us off. We stayed in the triple room with a sea view. It was perfect for our family of 4 and the view was incredible. Anita, the receptionist made our stay wonderful. The restaurant was exceptional. Amazing service and they don’t harass you like many of the other restaurants there do. I can not recommend this hotel more! If we are ever back in Chania, we will be staying there again for sure!

What a lovely hotel in the heart of the old Venetian port. Perfect place to stay in walk around. The staff was wonderful and I even snagged the sweetened orange peel recipe from the gentleman from their cafe! He also checked us into the hotel. Lovely person! Can't wait to try his recipe!

Hotel located in the Venetian part of Chania, close to many taverns, shops and beaches. Staff were wonderful and helpful when required. The room we had was spacious and nicely restored. Common area balcony overlooked the harbor and was a great place to relax during the evenings. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.
