Motel 6-Woodland, CA Sacramento Airport

I would not recommend this motel. The pool prominently featured on a picture promoting this place is filled in with dirt. The motel is next to a freeway off ramp, so you hear traffic all night. There is no insolation in the walls, and as a result to place is extremely noisy. Pets are allowed and we heard pet parking the majority of the evening. Dog poop right in front of the premises. Music was played outside by various lodgers into the evening and a barbecue used in front of one of the rooms.

I only stayed one night, but everything seemed AOK However It could use a laundry area for guests.

Typical Motel 6 amenities. We arrived at about 5 or 6 pm but had to deal with the front desk person through the night window. We left before te office opened in the morning so didn’t get any free coffee. There was no coffee pot in the room. It was very noisy…with the sound of smelling like a very large coffee percolator going all night. It was very close to gas & a freeway entrance so we were able to get on the road again quickly.

Motel does not have a swimming pool despite the amenity listed on the website. The pool had been filled in years ago. The motel clerk did call a motel next door to get permission for my family to use the pool. The request was denied. The property is in sad shape. You get what you pay for. Lots of fast-food/casual options within walking distance.

No refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee machine, tiny room, its just fine if you need to sleep and get up and go.

No microwave, no refrig just the bare stuff. Did have small flat screen tv. Room clean but outside dirty, stairs & railings nasty.

The property was very close to the interstate, good location for travellers. But it was extremely basic, not even as much as a coffee maker in the room. I skipped taking a shower as the bathroom floor was filthy.

The building isn’t anything special. The pool has been filled in with dirt. The room was clean and the staff friendly. Parking was tight and this particular stay there was a moving truck taking up at the charging stations and a few additional parking spots. There don’t seem to be a lingering homeless population, but lots of warnings not to leave belongs in the your vehicle. Housekeeping was still cleaning rooms at 5pm.

Great location. Clean rooms. Nice staff. Fridge and microwave.

Front desk clerk was unwelcoming, offered no instructions on wifi or breakfast initially. I had to call and eventually go back to the office for assistance. Most units have stairs to reach.

The room was infested with cockroaches

The bathroom smelled so bad we had to keep the door closed. The bathroom sink didn’t drain, standing water! The bathroom shower and walls had mold on them with dirty smudges all over the door! Worst night ever! But the toilet flushed 😡

Bedding clearly reused from last guest. Crumbs all over the top blanket, dirt on the sheet, stains on the pillow.

They had roaches nasty hotel

Sheets weren’t clean, cockroach, no soap, dirty floors. Long hairs on bathroom floor-gross. Couldn’t park in front of my room.

The person who checked us in was polite. There was only 1 roll of tissue in the room (there could have at least been 2). We saw a cockroach in the room late at night. I HATE pests and was disappointed/grossed out to see one where I paid to sleep.

I’ve never stayed at a motel 6 and possibly won’t again. I understand that you get what you pay for but I don’t understand how there can’t be a little better expectation from the owners or management to keep the place CLEAN. Staff was ok but didn’t know where items were (coffee lids, etc.) Room 205 The room (floors, beds, sheets, appliances & appearance) seemed “ok”, BUT the bathroom was UNACCEPTABLE & UNWELCOMING! The shower floor was dirty and had stains around the edge. DEFINITELY used my flip flops. The shower curtain was nasty. Should be washed in hot bleach or replaced. I made sure my body didn’t touch any part of that shower. The paint in the shower floor was chipping exposing the underneath. The sink was missing the drain stop and had water rings from previous glass cups. The paint was dingy. Ceiling edges had stains underneath from previous mold. The walls should be repainted or at minimum wiped down and disinfected thoroughly. The walkway to the room was dirty. Yes I understand that these hotels attract truck drivers or construction workers with muddy boots and we can’t control their boot stomping to clear off the mud but we can control how long it stays there for. The floors had grime stickiness, and nastiness build up from the past. Trash cans full of pizza boxes and camera equipment had dirt & webs. I would hire 1-2 motivated people to do a 100% DEEP CLEAN & DISINFECT of each room, DAILY, year round. 3-5 room details, per day, would make a HUGE difference

Wonderful friendly staff, very easy check in, room was exactly what i needed. The only complaint is that due to the location between two major highways it was a little noisy. Other than that its worth every penny.

Parking ok. Room basic but ok. Very noisy difficult to sleep Homeless person going through the dumpster at midnight making a lot of noise. Rooms not insulated well at all Hotel could use some updating.

room was noisy and absolutely freezing. no thermostat and very thin blanket. Found another motel and moved in the middle of the night.

it was clean, beds uncomfortable but sufficient, average bare bones motel 6

The heater didn’t work; but it was a good stay.

My biggest problem with this stay was the poor quality of the mattress. I could feel the wires in it. The room was clean. So much that it smelled of bleach.

Room was what you’d expect for economy motel. No frills. Clean. Towels were decent. Shower leaked and the floor was wet Bed was hard and pillows were not all that great but again, for an economical motel it met expectations

Air conditioner was not working properly

It was hard to sleep. The place was really noisy!

All Good Nice check in.

The staff was super nice. The price is the room was very reasonable. The only issue we had was some of the other hotel guests were arguing loudly just outside our room close to midnight. I would stay at again.

Excellent customer service

We got to the hotel around 10 and had to wait 45 minutes for the employee to get off their break before we can even check in. After traveling for over eight hours I was looking forward to going to bathroom and the keys that we were given did not work so we had to get those once again. Finally an hour after getting onto property I got into our room.

Checked in at midnight without any issue. Staff was very friendly. Lots of noise from the freeway and a dog barking from another room, so if you need quiet to sleep this is not the best place! Room was nice and clean and comfortable. No amenities in the bathroom except soap - so if you plan to shower BYO

The staff was friendly and attentive.

It was over 100° during my stay, but the AC works really well so I stayed pretty comfortable. Also, it’s really conveniently located to restaurant stores and freeways.

I like everything about this property except the location, If you're driving it's hard to get out of into the traffic. And it's difficult to see the motel 6 sign from the street it's just not in a safe or good location in my opinion.

I just needed a place to stay overnight so I could get to the Sacramento Airport for an early morning flight. It was just fine for that.

I stay at this location because it is convenient it has nearby shopping and dining and I know what to expect

Bed had stains on the bedspread so I used my own blanket to sleep on. No coffee available until 6 am.
