Stayed for four nights with my two children. Hotel and staff were excellent and would stay again when back in Amsterdam (and would try in other cities). 15 min walk to free ferry into Amsterdam Central. Breakfast was very expensive so chose to eat elsewhere. Room was small but excellent. Would have benefited from having tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Large lounge area with games for the whole family, well equipped gym, great bar and restaurant areas. Bar and restaurant staff really friendly. Menu is child friendly and not too expensive.

Small but very well-thought-through room. Everything I needed. Full black-out window shade, ironing board, well-lit bike rack outside, etc. Canal-side patio out back is nice. Only minor complaint was LED light behind button to turn on the sink mirror, which I had to cover to get to sleep.

The area was a little off the beaten path which was nice because it was a little more quiet. The food and drinks at the restaurant were good. There was a nice looking gym, however I did not use it because we walked around so much. A lot of construction was going on around the area which made it a little more of a challenge to get to when walking with luggage, but would stay there again.

The hotel itself if great. Super modern, clean, extremely comfy beds and very quiet. Also has a great little gym. The location is a bit of a pain. It's a 20-25 min walk to Centraal and literally anywhere as it's in the middle of nowhere. They advertise food & drink vouchers if you don't opt for fresh linen but you don't actually get the vouchers...

The location is not so adequate to walk to City Center. It is doable, however. We came by car and the parking facility was under construction and closed. This was not communicated before arrival. The answer to the question where to park the car then, was a short ‘go and find a parkingspace outside’. Not very helpful. However, All ends well, the daily public parking fee was much lower then the daily fee for private hotel parking.

The rooms are not worth the price. Very tiny with no space to manoeuvre. The bathroom door was not closing properly so the water kept flooding the room. House keeping did not clean the room properly even after putting the tag for the room to be cleaned. Most stuff are friendly and helpful.

Decently clean room, carpet was slightly dirty, pillow case had spots on them and under the mattress was dirty. Other than that the room was excellent size wise and very comfortable to stay in.

The room was overall pretty clean and looked after, however our air-con appeared to do nothing and our room got really hot at night. We were there for 6 nights and asked for our room to be cleaned halfway through our trip we placed our card outside that clearly stated “YO clean this room”. We got back too our room at 12 midnight and it was still a mess. Overall the stay was ok, breakfast wasn’t fantastic for the price and neither was the room. Wouldn’t stay again

The sheets were smelly like they hadn’t been washed. The top bunk had sweet wrappers tucked down the side of the bed. Staff were lovely hotel was nice just the room cleanliness was terrible I wouldn’t go back again

Fantastic stay!! Room was very big and perfect for me, my husband and our 5 year old daughter. Very clean and quiet. There was plenty of shower gel and body lotion. Only thing was we didnt have a kettle , but had a fancy coffee machine.

You can t open the window. You have to turn on the air conditioning for fresh air - so at the second day you are ill! And at the toilettes are no toilet brush!

Bon séjour, chambre ok et adapté pour un court séjour. Cependant 2 bémols, toilettes/salle de bains avec peu d’intimité donc à réserver pour des gens qui se connaissent bien. Et hôtel un peu excentré, il faut compter 18min à pied du métro le plus proche et surtout peu de restaurants/commerce proche de l’hôtel. Sinon ça fait vraiment le travail pour le prix

Overall a really neat hotel with great outdoor relaxing area. Rooms were a bit tight and plugs could be closer to the bed (like the upper bunk) and perhaps a kettle in the room. Overall though I’d recommend.

The staff is very nice and friendly, location is close to Amsterdam central. The room is good for solo travellers but for couples or family might feel tight, there is no separation between bedroom and bathroom so it could be uncomfortable at times.

Wow! What an amazing stay we had. On arrival, Jack was so helpful when checking in and answered our many questions. Sofia was also brilliant and was able to provide us with useful information throughout our stay. All of the other staff were also brilliant, but didn’t get any of their names. The hotel itself was IMMACULATE! Cannot fault them for a thing! Hopefully, in the future, we will return to Amsterdam and we have already said that we would definitely stay at Yotel!

Concierge staff were really good and friendly. I wish I could say the same about the bar staff, they were quite rude and always put the locals first before us the tourists! The hotel looks modern for sure, quite expensive and it does take you around 40 minutes (walk and ferry ) to get to the City. We booked the First Class room which it was a bit spacious and it did cost as well more. However, the carpets are very dirty, stained - same goes for the entire furniture in the room. Overall was a good experience, especially as the Concierge team made our stay pleasant, but not sure I will return until the carpets are being cleaned and of course hopefully the bar staff will treat us the tourists as equals at least when it comes to customer service expectations.

Bad transportation in noord area 30 minute walk unless your really fit. Staff in general ok but not knowledgeable about transport in the area breakfast was okay but staff at breakfast weren’t interested and wouldn’t fetch more cutlery when it ran out very disappointed with the breakfast which should be included but cost 40 euros for 2 people

Nice Property, rooms and service. Check-In was a mess, automated system didn't work so manually checked in and they charged me twice. Took multiple calls and emails to get refunded. Nearest buss stop is 12 Mins walk and ferry to city is 19 mins so LOTS of walking on-top of city walking therefore Bicycle is essential. Other than this I enjyed my stay and likes the waterside area for relaxing and having a beer/food. I would recommend if you have transport.

Hotel was great, very modern style, staff were very pleasant, it was all very clean, The drinks prices were on a par with the rest of the city, didn't try the food. I think the area is perhaps up and coming, but the hotel at present has the feel of being on an industrial estate - there are a couple of facilities around. Compared to other hotels i felt it was good value, but a little bit of a pain to have to take either a 20min walk plus a ferry or a 3 min walk, one stop on the 38 bus and a ferry to get to the main city centre. It wasnt difficult and both the ferry and the bus were at great frequencies - but it felt a bit of a pain to have the day in the city then have to do the ferry/bus/walk thing back to the hotel to get changed and then same back again for evening out. If you dont mind the back and forth then its a great hotel - we would go back again.

Because we stayed for a week we decided to upgrade to the first class room to give us more room and that worked out great! I think if we were just staying a night or two the standard room would have been fine. The hotel is located in north neighborhood of Amsterdam which is mostly commercial so there wasn’t a lot of choice for restaurants close by, but when we were back at the hotel in the evening we ate at the cafe and everything we had was very good. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to get to the ferry, but we like to walk and it felt very safe. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We actually liked being a bit away in a more quiet area and enjoyed the Deck on one of the sunny evenings we had. It was a very good choice for the price and we would stay there again

Really lovely hotel. Great breakfast, lovely spaces, great staff. Rooms are small and could use a chair but overall very happy with this property. Surrounding area has construction but is no disruption to stay at hotel - just a bit ugly walking to the ferry. It is a bit far from the city center but that is a good thing. Quiet area on a canal. Would recommend this hotel to others.

No Microwave in the Kitchen available for guests, no Water heating kettle available in the rooms. If you want tea, it costs €3,50 at the automat downstairs, even if you have your own teabags you have to get hot water downstairs. No complimentary water even one bottle for the first day. If you want somewhere just to sleep and go about your business, Yotel is it. Anything more not for me.

If you want a cold uncooked breakfast every morning this is the place to go. Sausage bacon beans and scrambled eggs cold every morning. Mushrooms uncooked and cold. Very little choice. I ended up just having fruit and coffee for breakfast in the end. The rooms were clean but no coffee/tea options in the room. They did have tea and coffee in reception but you have to pay for this. Would I stay here again, unfortunately no because of the terrible breakfast.
