Days Inn by Wyndham Elko

After a miserable experience3 at the Day's Inn in Moab (reviewed separately), the Elko one was a delight. We met the manager when we arrived and he was very pleasant and gave us excellent dining suggestions. The parking area and exterior were very well maintained, as were stairway and hallway to our room, which was wonderful, clean, bright, very tastefully furnished, super clean, a complete opposite of the place in Moab. We liked everything about the Days Inn in Elko and found the staff most helpful. We had a great stay and it's pleasure to have faith in the brand again after the awful stay in Moab.

Good service. Parking was limited. I was pulling a trailer and had no way to park. Floor was spongy in several places. Bathroom vent was filthy. Continental breakfast was poor

Lovely grounds, flowers, landscaping. Staff very pleasant and helpful, the room very comfortable and clean. This was a return visit and I will stay again the next time I am in Elko.

Night staff were friendly and the place was extremely clean. The security around the perimeter helped me sleep better. Will definitely stay again

Very clean, comfortable beds, easy check in. A little noisy from the street traffic but quieted down later in the evening. Had an issue with the dryer and the Owner/ Front Desk took care of it right away. Very pleasant gentleman.

Our room had the FOULEST smell (cat box with mold was the closest we could come up with.) the rooms are old and loud (we could hear every step and word from the room above us) and our friends in another room had two cockroaches in the shower. The towels/bedding and surfaces were clean and the check in was easy. That’s about the only positive thing I can think of.

The "continental breakfast" turned out to be coffee in the lobby. The room had a very noticeable smell to it. The bathroom reeked of mildew. We found a bug on the bed. The floor was extremely uneven, as though they had carpeted over a broken subfloor. It was so bad we had to warn our kids not to trip as they walked across the uneven floor. Had it not been so late at night after a long day of driving, we would have packed up and gone somewhere else.

The room was clean enough but there was a terrible odor. I had to go buy a room deodorizer so I could be in the room. I assumed the whole property had the same problem. I liked having a restaurant next door and a beautiful park across the street. I will not stay here again!

Got to the room my son got in his bed and it had bed bugs !!

The room has a terrible smell. Every time we left and came back into the room it was like getting hit in the face with a moldy smell. Old carpet and old curtains holding in the smell. Floors creek very bad every time someone walks across the floor above and in your room. Rooms were clean for the most part and staff were great, if you can stand the smell..

The spacious room with 3 queen beds, was very comfortable for 6 people. Loved our stay here.

Could hear people upstairs and to the sides. Very noisy front street. Beds were not very comfortable. Disappointed after staying at a hotel related to Wyndham previous night at about same cost.

The location was great, it was clean..but noisy and staff looked through my window... and they were noisy with their carts...

Older property Small rooms.Good for a quick stay, which is what we needed. Clean and nice staff.

The toilet is so close to the wall you can't use it without touching the walls. The motel is right on a busy road, and there was traffic noise all night. The beds aren't comfortable. So glad we only started one night.

Great for the price. Air conditioning struggled to cool the entire room until night time when the temperature dropped. A truck started running out in the parking lot and we got some exhaust smell inside our unit.

Thank you, owner of hotel, for investing in your property. The room was recently remodeled and it looks great. The value you get in this hotel is pretty phenomenal for the quality of the room.

The property was a budget hotel obviously but our door didn’t feel secure and the bathroom was outdated and uncomfortable. We got what we paid for. Would we stay again. Yes but with a better secured door.

They made registration easy and they were very courteous. We would stay there again.

They were very helpful when we asked if our room could be on the ground floor. They made it so.

I only gave the service a 2 star due to the man checking us in being nice. Otherwise we did not like it here at all. But the hotel was kind of gross. The walkways on the second floor was stained, and the room had a smell to it as soon as you walked into the door. And it wasn’t a cleaning chemical smell, like the room had just been cleaned. There was a weird stain on the top comforter, and several holes on the blanket underneath it. The biggest issue we had was the in morning. It was a little past 9, check out is 11am, and we’re starting to get ready to leave, and we hear a rather insistent knock at the door, and me and my friend were confused as to who could possibly be at the door, and without warning someone tried to open the door almost immediately after they had knocked, but the door jam stopped them, and they shut the door when we spoke up about people being in here. I checked and there was no one outside. My friend called the front desk about a possible break-in, but no, it was staff coming to clean out our room thinking that we already checked out. No apologies at all. And we never turned in our keys, the “do not disturb” sign was on the door, and our car was still in the parking lot, which they had the information on. So I don’t know why they would’ve thought we checked out. We’re just appalled by that decision with what seems no prior fact-checking into whether we were still there or not. We will not be staying here again.

Registration was easy and the staff courteous.

Kind lady helped me several times with my key. They care about their guest. They even put me on a lower floor as I forgot to request it. I even gave the lady a bouquet of flowers for all the help. I would recommend this place to anyone asking me Thank you

Good room for a family on a road trip. First I’ve seen with 3 beds. Staff were very courteous. Even went out of their way to help recover and ship a left item.

One of the best places we have stayed in this price range. Welcoming, courteous, friendly front desk. As a third-party reservation guest, it was the first time someone asked me which floor I preferred. The room was attractive and very clean. The bed was very comfortable with a variety of pillow-depth. There were all the amenities that seem to be disappearing from rooms these days, coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, and toiletries. It was just what we needed for a good nights sleep across I-80. We checked out before their continental breakfast was offered.

On a long trip, we stopped at Days Inn Elko both ways. It was convenient, the service was fine, and the room was comfortable. Our only suggestion: the office door could open at 6:00 a.m. (when we needed to leave), for access to the breakfast bar.

There was smell strong inside the room as I saw reviews. But it might be from the cleaning product. So it was not so bad but I recommend try other product instead. Room is spacious and it had a microwave and fridge it was useful and breakfast was not bad because there were juice coffee bread apple banana yogurt milk cereal.

Minimal breakfast options. Nothing fancy in hotel appearance but they have 3 bed option and its close to 80 but not noisy so we stay here regularly.

Okay for one night. Clean room, a little highway noise. Close to food options. Literally a grab and go continental breakfast. Grab it from the small check-in area and go to your room.
