Nice hotel, clean functional room, very well located for the galleries and city centre. The only fault was the paper cups and tea coffee capsules weren't replenished at all during our stay, the chap on reception was however happy to supply them if asked but that really doesn't help first thing in the morning when you just want a quick coffee.

Overall positive experience staying at XO Hotel Inner, Amsterdam. Welcoming and friendly staff at the front desk and breakfast room. Great location in the museum quarter within 15-20 minutes walk to Concertgebouw concert hall, Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum...etc. I only give 4 stars overall because the hotel does not have an ice making machine in the lobby and a mini bar fridge in the room.

Hotel location is quiet and close to Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum and Concertgebouw. The room was clean, and comfortable. Onsite breakfast is convenient and has good food selection. This is a great value for those who don’t require a luxury hotel and instead want to spend their money experiencing Amsterdam.

Perfect little hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Location is excellent. Has an elevator so you don’t have to worry about stairs and luggage. They have a small breakfast buffet available as well. If you prepay upon check in, you get a discount. Most of the guests during our stay were couples, older, or families, unlike other places with the rowdy younger crowd.

Pros: Close to metro station, great layout of room, elevator, breakfast available for a charge, A/C was amazing, front desk was very helpful, lots of tour and information available. Near museums and parks. Cons: room was dirty. Linens were clean but under and sides of bed frame had visible “food” spills that weren’t cleaned prior to our stay. Bathroom smelled like pee. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Coffee pot was there but no cups or coffee. Carpet was stained. None of the cons were deal breakers. If they paid more attention to detail on cleaning it would be fantastic.

ROOM WAS DISGUSTING. A serious health concern. There were BUGS crawling on the mattress. Stains on the bedding. Dust, food, and dirt all over the floor. They told us they could not switch the room. We were told not to check out and they would notify us when a better room became available. They never notified us, then told me they checked us out and could not offer any compensation- NO alternate room, or anything. I am severely disappointed, disgusted. and traumatized from this experience. No matter what you do, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Hotel is in a good location near all the museums and a nice 30 min walk into the center. The room wasn’t the cleanest, bottles under the bed from previous guests alongside crumbs on the carpet corners where hoovering had not been done: We pressed clean up before leaving the room each day and found the bedsheets were not changed and had the same stain on for the whole duration of our stay despite it being obvious to cleaning staff the bedding needed changing. If you’re looking to bed out most of the day it’s a nice hotel for Amsterdam and affordable.

Neighbourhood of the hotel is lovely and the staff were always friendly. I think the nature of the building (old and wooden) it’s loud especially if your room is near the stairs. Hotel room was of average cleanliness, it was dusty and bedsheets stained.

The sheets had not been changed. They did not seem fresh but the bed was made up. The next morning we found an oily food stain by the pillow, confirming that we had slept in someone else's dirty sheets. Disgusting. No response received from the manager, and the girl on the desk had nothing to say about it, not even an apology.

Excellent location, favourite part of town we have stayed in when coming to Amsterdam. As for the hotel itself - you get what you pay for. I expected the room to be quite small but it was enough to fit us. The staff were nice when we interacted with them. The rooms are not cleaned very well, it was clear that they do a surface-level clean... if that. There was some kind of jam on the counters and the floors were pretty dirty when we checked in. A couple of days we didn't have the rooms cleaned at all. But overall, for the price paid, we were ok with the room.

Got double room on ground floor with no windows. Great room, no complaints at all. Spacious, comfortable beds and bedding. Air conditioning worked great. Clean, adequately sized bathroom. Conveniently located hotel, out of main area so is quieter, but very easy access via walking and tram stops. Minutes away from Amsterdam Centraal station.

Good location for museums - all walking distance. However hotel had the worst softest mattress that whichever way you turned your whole body ached! The pillows were so high and hard! Sleepless night waking up in pain - took ages before we could walk normally!

This was an affordable room in the Museum Quarter which was a good location for my short visit to Amsterdam. My room was clean, but unbelievably small. There was a strong sewage smell in one corner of the room. I imagine that this came from outside, but it was still unpleasant. The staff was helpful but cool.

this hotel is pretty good! We were able to check in early which is always great and our room was very modern and clean. only downfall was that it was a very small room with not much room to move about. In terms of making it into the city centre, it was about a 30 minute walk but tram services are also available very close. This hotel provided exactly what we needed. Comfort and cleanliness

Big room at the top of the hotel with view over the rooftops. Airconditioning was appreciated. Lovely and quiet. Great location near museums, good restaurants and the VondelPark. Near the bus stop for the airport bus 397

This was our first trip to Amsterdam, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel staff wasn’t unfriendly but not overly welcoming or helpful like we’ve encountered in other European countries. The rooms are very small and they weren’t necessarily cleaned each day. We had to ask for more toilet paper, coffee and tea. The room was clean when we checked in. The room doors had to be pulled to shut so they made a bit of a slam noise each time someone shut their door.

Accueil à revoir, réceptionniste froide, sans sourire et peu d’explications. Le deuxième nous a reçu avec son t-shirt à l’envers (étiquette vers l’avant).. après ceci n’est qu’un détail… la chambre est très petite, en soi pour ce qu’on la utilisé c’était suffisant mais les prix sont alors à revoir pour ce genre de chambre car même un petit frigo nous n’avions pas. En ce qui concerne la propreté, le tapis n’avait pas été aspiré et le lit mal fait… notre chambre était au rez de chaussé et malheureusement donnant sur la cour arrière qui sert de fumoir et lavoir pour les employés ainsi que du parking à vélo. Des 08:00 du matin, les employés claquaient la porte pour sortir en extérieur et nous a ainsi donc réveiller. Un réveil plutôt désagréable pour une nuit à 180€. Bref, un hôtel que j’éviterai mes prochaines fois à Amsterdam.

Staff were very helpful, they allowed us to check in early and check out late, along with booking us a taxi to the airport. Hotel was clean and in a good area. Room was slightly smaller than I imagined, but for 1 night was ample. We booked bike rental from around the corner, which was 3 hours for €10. Bargain!

Rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived they gave my granddaughter a stuffed bear. Bathroom was clean and shower was great. Helpful with arranging a cab to the airport. I would stay there again.

The XO was such a disappointment. The desk attendants on Saturday wore unhelpful and seemed to know nothing about the local area -- even where to buy postage stamps! We checked into our room with empty Shower Gel (Hair/Body Soap), asked the evening desk person and he said we'd have to wait until following day! We ended up taking one from housekeeping cart since no follow-up. Room was not clean -- found dirty towel on side of tall cabinet. There are no drawers for clothes! Only a cabinet to hang clothes and they had bent wire hangers with cheap plastic too. On Monday the desk person was better (possibly Mgr). He could tell us where a post box was close-by. Rooms are super small if in a double. Friend and I shared bed; wasn't twins as thought. They were comfortable. Breakfast is on bottom foor and 15 Euro. We found Small Talk cafe on main street nearby which was wonderful for same cost. The best thing about hotel was its Location! Could walk everywhere and near the Museums and Passage way to canals. The hotel has potential but needs to work on cleanliness and customer service.
The XO was such a disappointment. The desk attendants on Saturday wore unhelpful and seemed to know nothing about the local area -- even where to buy postage stamps! We checked into our room with empty Shower Gel (Hair/Body Soap), asked the evening desk person and he said we'd have to wait until following day! We ended up taking one from housekeeping cart since no follow-up. Room was not clean -- found dirty towel on side of tall cabinet. There are no drawers for clothes! Only a cabinet to hang clothes and they had bent wire hangers with cheap plastic too. On Monday the desk person was better (possibly Mgr). He could tell us where a post box was close-by. Rooms are super small if in a double. Friend and I shared bed; wasn't twins as thought. They were comfortable. Breakfast is on bottom foor and 15 Euro. We found Small Talk cafe on main street nearby which was wonderful for same cost. The best thing about hotel was its Location! Could walk everywhere and near the Museums and Passage way to canals. The hotel has potential but needs to work on cleanliness and customer service.

We had a great time at XO. The location was very convenient, and all the museums we planned to visit were within walking distance. The check-in was the fastest I've ever experienced, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The area is very nice, quiet, and safe, with some good food options around. Public transport is also close by. I highly recommend it!

Hotel is in a good location near all the museums and a nice 30 min walk into the center. The room wasn’t the cleanest, bottles under the bed from previous guests alongside crumbs on the carpet corners where hoovering had not been done: We pressed clean up before leaving the room each day and found the bedsheets were not changed and had the same stain on for the whole duration of our stay despite it being obvious to cleaning staff the bedding needed changing. If you’re looking to bed out most of the day it’s a nice hotel for Amsterdam and affordable.

We had excellent service at this very convenient hotel. I asked for a kettle as I needed a hot water bottle for an injured arm and this was provided promptly. The breakfasts were good. The staff were most helpful and our room, on the ground floor, overlooking the street was really quiet.

We spent seven nights here and had a room we shared with our adult daughter. Even with two beds, there was plenty of space for all three of us. We had the hotel's breakfast each morning, and it was fine, with an assortment of options. We loved the easy, walkable access of the hotel to the tram stops, Vondlepark, and the museums! Nice location in the museum district. Fairly quiet - residential area. Very walkable to Riksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, and Vondelpark. Lots of restaurants close by. I didn't see a fitness center at this hotel. The elevator was slow. The floor in our room wasn't very clean, but the rest of the room was well cleaned every day.

We had a really good stay at XO Hotels Inner Amsterdam. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the tram stop, with plenty of local shops nearby, and the museums and Vondelpark are all within easy walking distance. There were also vending machines in the hotel, which were handy for drinks and snacks. The room was clean and comfortable, although there was a little dust in a few places, but nothing that affected our stay or was worth complaining about. Breakfast was available, although we didn’t use it, so we can’t comment on the food. The only real downside was the noise from the corridor. Our room was next to the staff exit used by the cleaners, so it could be a bit noisy at times. Other than that, we really couldn’t fault the hotel and would happily stay here again.
