The room was not like the photos. There was barely any walking room between and around beds. The sheets and towels were stained. The floor wasn’t vacuumed. The pool was closed down for unexpected amount of time. When I was in lobby getting new towels, others were complaining about cleanliness too

The experience did not match the photos online. It is a refurbished hotel and our room feels/smells accordingly. Entering the hotel, I noticed the pool was now closed. One employee told me they were waiting on a part for it to be fixed; the next day, another employee said they were waiting on chemicals. It did open eventually the next day. The room’s air conditioner made the room smell extremely musty. The “breakfast” was essentially muffins/toast, a waffle maker, apples, a few yogurts in the fridge, extremely watered down juices and watered down coffee. The gal working was extremely friendly, but spread thin. It wasn’t the experience I was paying for considering we were staying several nights.

I don't understand the negative reviews,we were checked in by a lady who was absolutely wonderful to work with, even my 8 yr old daughter commented on how nice she was. The room was decent, nothing spectacular but for the price it was on par with the rest. Breakfast was OK, it's free and had options. The pool was my daughter's favorite part, her and a few other kids had a great time. I'll stay again if I'm ever in Louisville again.

Property is very quiet and the rooms are okay. Just okay. I rented 2 rooms. One was fine, the other smelled like old smoke. The refundable deposit i put down at the reservation wasnt returned to me for 2 entire weeks. Pool didnt work and the “breakfast” is only waffles and juice. If you have the money go somewhere else.

The breakfast offered was sub standard. Dinning Room was very small and cramped when trying to get food. Coffee was terrible. Pool was nice and the water warm but the room was very dark ( not enough lights) and the room was cold.

The room had dead bugs in it, damaged drywall around the tub/shower and mold, the lobby was scorching hot, staff was not friendly, breakfast was poor (hard muffins, small yogurt, DIY waffles). Sheets were clean, towels/wash rags were clean, a/c worked well. The room was quiet and in a safe area. Area around the building was nice and maintained.

We found bedbugs in our room! The sheets and pillow cases were stained! The walls were dirty! The room smelled horrible! We stayed for 30 Minutes and left! I am so fearful the bedbugs followed us!

Rooms are very in need of work. Many holes in walls. Dirt marks all over. Hair all over tile floor. Carpet looks like it wasn't vaccuumed. Breakfast, if thats what you called it, was aweful. One of the worst hotels we have stayed at. Over $400/night. Ridiculous!

Room was dirty smelled, there was trash left from previous guest. The floor was sticky and my flip flop actually stuck and I walked out. Was told the room was cleaned and there were no other rooms. We were forced to stay as we pre-paid for the room. We arrived after 8pm and checked out at 4am and we could no longer take the smell. Would not recommend for anyone to stay there.

When I first walked in my room the first thing I noticed were the dusty cobwebs in the top corners of the room. Then I spotted other things... two squished bugs on two separate walls (roaches? water bugs? hard to tell), crumbs on the chair, towel fuzzies on the vanity, mystery stain on the front of the toilet. I took pictures of everything and went to the front desk. The gentleman told me that I could either go to a different hotel or switch rooms. I chose to switch rooms. The second room was cleaner (not by much) and situated by the dining area. I'm an early riser so this part didn't affect me too much, but getting the dining area ready for breakfast was an incredibly loud process between the whistling (whistle while you work?) and the dining room TV blaring. I checked out early.

The hotel was not clean and has a funny smell. There is no smoking but clearly someone in room next to me was as bathroom reeked of smoke. When we checked in I always check beds sheets were dirty and I needed to change rooms. I will not be staying here again

A little kid was behind the check-in counter. Junk laying around outside and under stairs. My bathroom door was held together with tape, the room smells bad, couch is filthy and tattered, sheets have stains, inside of drawers are dirty, almost out of toilet paper, reading light doesn't work, flooring very poorly installed, door to hall has big gap, refrigerator doesn't work. I have pictures. Gross.

Nice overall. If room is close to the end of building the entrance is not close to where you park. Room is ok. Shower head is terrible. Breakfast is barely there. They do have a coffee machine and not pump canisters.

Building is older but rooms have been updated. Probably had the best water pressure of any hotel I have been in. The bed was very uncomfortable though, pillows were flat, and I could hear everyone’s door slam shut. It’s ok for a night but if you have back or neck issues, avoid.

The microwave did not work. The breakfast had waffles (good) but the muffins where tiny and did not look tasty. Only one cereal, no cream for the coffee. The rooms where clean as was the hotel in general. We would definitely stay again.

This room was very uncomfortable. Not enough pillows , no comforter on the bed . The room was dirty , we changed rooms only to find the same conditions finally the 3 rd room was not clean but acceptable for the remaining hours of our stay . The staff was extremely rude !

Took 25 minutes to get checked in (with only 2 people in front of us). Key card machine wasn’t working so we had to be let in our room by an employee with the master key. Room was not clean how I would expect it to be. Bathroom had hair dye stains all over. Fire alarm went off at 6:45am but no employees ever came around to tell us that it was due to another guest smoking in their room. We finally found that out as we were packing up our stuff to leave (because if we left our room, we couldn’t get back in ourselves) and looked out and a guest nearby informed us.

In the 4 different employees i encountered over my 3 night stay. Theresa was by far top notch. Kind, helpful, and pleasant. The management at this location. Awful. And the night i checked in. The man( employee) was very un-welcoming and seemed bothered he had to check us in and just a rude arrogant demeanor. If it wasn't for Theresa this place would get a 1 star and thats because in order to rate id have to choose at least 1.

The property itself was to be expected for the price. I would have given it 4 stars if the staff was even friendly. All of the evening and night staff were so rude! When we first arrived the man at the desk was so irritated he had to check us in. Throughout our stay when asked if we needed housekeeping, we declined but asked for extra towels. We never received any, when we asked the front desk for towels, again they seemed so bothered by our requests. We travel a lot in the summer and the staff at this facility was by far the least polite and rudest that we’ve experienced!

The man at the front desk was not friendly and seemed inconvenienced by us checking in. We’ve stayed in multiple hotels and know the drill. We weren’t greeted. He acted like we were wanting to break rules or something. We usually get the spiel on breakfast, directions to the room, etc. we don’t get any of that. Customer service makes a difference.

The hotel gave an inaccurate description of their location. It is not in Louisville, it is in brooks, ky which is further than i wanted to drive. The description is misleading and should say brooks.

The property is super convenient to get in and out of downtown Louisville. Its unfortunate that the hotel is in such a dingy state. The front desk staff could be nicer as well. I know the times are set for breakfast but wasnt expecting to get yelled at for getting hot water. If they had wanted to turn off a machine or move something I would have gladly moved aside.

Quiet,clean the lady at the front desk was really nice only downside was the breakfast was horrible it was only apples toast muffins cereal waffles and yogurts with apple and oranges juices and coffee but every tasted stale or off and the apple juice tasted watered down, we booked this place because they had breakfast and a pool and we didn't get to use the pool and the breakfast was bad

We went for breakfast and the lobby was VERY HOT!! To HOT to sit and eat. Average Continental breakfast. Only hot food though was the self service waffles. Coffee and juices tasted terrible. I took a chocolate chip and a blueberry muffin to the room. Noisy people in hallway all night and outside and at pool.

I have stayed at Baymonts before, but this one gave off Super8 vibes. It got the job done, but I felt mislead. The “breakfast” was subpar, the only hot option was a waffle. It was a one and done choice for me personally

Tub was dirty. Beds were like rocks and also felt like it was slanted a little, enough for me to notice and be uncomfortable. Breakfast offered coffee cups that were about 6 ounce size, the cups in the room were bigger and better quality and food choices very limited.
