Almost everything was great- the staff was incredible, the room was very nice and well appointed. The only downside was the parking- we were told there was parking, but find out that the lot is shared with paid parking and it was a busy event weekend. Then we were told the valet was free, “but we work on tips”. So free, but definitely felt obligated to tip. We would have anyway, and we did, but is it free or does it come with a side of guilt?

Very nice hotel, in a great location next to the campus of Arizona State. Only drawback is the parking situation along the sides or back of the hotel. Not too many spaces if you arrive late.

Beautiful! The hotel feels like a luxurious sanctuary. Stunning courtyard, elegant lobby, photo-worthy pool and terrace. We made good use of the fitness facility. Great breakfast, and we were quite delighted with the superb food quality at Harvey’s restaurant. Exciting walkable neighbourhood teeming with restaurants and vibrant entertainment; nearby university campus is quite pretty as well. We particularly appreciated the front arranging a later checkout after our flight home was delayed by several hours. This hotel also offers complimentary shuttle service to and from SkyHarbor airport. Looking forward to a return visit!

Hotel stay met expectations in every way. Property has dining options until 10pm and is walking distance from many more dining options. There is also a cvs pharmacy walking distance from property as well. PHX airport is approximately an 8 minute drive and hotel provides free airport shuttle service. Tempe Beach Park and Dessert Botanical garden are both nearby so Lyft price is approx $10 (or less) one way. Tempe Beach Park is great for renting water craft, surreys, paddle boats/boards while enjoying the beautiful views of the bridge. So it was great to be at a property so close to attractions. If you are staying a day the aforementioned places can be explored but if you are staying longer there are so many additional options as well. If your room is not located on the same side of courtyard as pool and fitness center then it is easer to access both by taking elevator down to main lobby on first floor and then walk across the court yard to take those elevators up to pool/fitness. Otherwise getting to the pool/fitness can feel like you are walking down corridors galore. Everyone at hotel was extremely attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend the pool side frozen drinks and fish tacos.

Our stay was. I’ve with the exception we did not have our room cleaned, we called the front desk and were told sometimes the cleaning staff skips rooms. We asked for additional coffee and towels, we tipped the guy that brought them to our room he did not even say thank you. I think some additional training is needed, we paid $700 for two nights, the service could use some polishing.

The property was nice, staff was professional and location was convenient to where we needed to be. After getting out of shower my husband was drying off and noticed a nasty, unclean stain on the towel, so much so he felt he needed to take another shower. Laundry quality NEEDS to be better. When checking out and alerting front desk our “reservation fee” was waived.

Staff was very helpful with unloading our luggage and Harry's restaurant was great for dinner. However, one of our beds was apparently infested with bed bugs as my daughter suffered some terrible bites. We did let the hotel know and they at least took the hospitality fee off our bill.

We were here with a large wedding party, and this location was honestly really pretty. Lots of courtyard seating and food options, but the rooms were overpriced for what it was and NOT clean. There's was a cleaning rag left on the TV stand, an old ranch left in the fridge, a huge chunk of shaved hair in the shower chair, and spots on the mini mirror. When I spoke to management, they offered us free breakfast vouchers that we couldn't use. Great location with lots of places to walk and explore but right in the airport flight path so loud AF. Wouldn't stay again.

Hate to ding this place - it was nice and comfortable BUT this hotel is right next to night club central. Not their fault but be aware. The bass from the nearest club was clear as day until 2am every night. Other than that, great place, staff, location.

This is a very nice, high-end hotel in a great location. Everything is done well - it's attractive, convenient, well-furnished, etc. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy. Walk out the door to ASU campus, the heart of downtown, an LRT station or a hike up Hayden Butte. Parking on site incl. in room. All of this is reflected in the price, which is 2-3x what you'd pay for a premium room in Madrid, Paris or London. And it's classic Arizona - leaf blowers roaring all morning, loud guys in golf clothes, etc. Staying here is a good experience.

I booked this hotel to attend a graduation nearby. Since the trip was short, I thought I would get a little nicer hotel and have a little getaway for myself. I decided to get a courtyard view room to have a nice view. First, I have to say that the hotel is older and it showed in my room. To turn on the shower head, I really had to fight with the faucet. The top door latch also wouldn’t secure. Then, a group booked an event in the courtyard the night that I was there, it was a really loud event. The event lasted longer than their allotted time and you could hear it all in the room. The front desk customer service when I checked out was very poor and rather rude. I travel a decent amount for work and personal, and have stayed in a lot nicer hotels for cheaper. I likely would choose a different option if I travel to Phoenix again.

As experienced travelers within the US and Europe-most recently to the UK, we had never heard of “destination charges destination taxes” during any of our stays. These charges should have been disclosed in the room prices so that we could have accurately compared rooms with other hotels. Additionally, why were these charges not included in the original booking total but instead were added for each day of our stay? The staff, lobby and courtyard were great; however, our room furniture and carpets were worn out, shabby, and in need of repair or possible replacement. We will not be considering a future stay at this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay, convenient location, near Skyharbor, good staff. AC blower was an issue, very loud and squeaky, disruptive to good sleep, set on auto and it cycled every 5 minutes, set it on constant and it squeaked constantly. Otherwise all good!

Second trip to this hotel visiting and then taking daughter to ASU. The hokey and rooms dining all excellent but by far the best part of this hotel is its staff!! They went out of their way to assist us and were genuinely kind and friendly. There may be many choices nearby but this one has my lotalty it’s also walking distance to everything in town and campus super close to airport hiking right behind hotel and box shops within 2 miles…

Our room type was changed without any sort of explanation. Should have received a room with a king bed and we were given a room with 2 double beds. There was never a supervisor or manager available when we checked in or the next day ( Afternoon ). Front desk said that’s all they had available so basically tough luck. Had to retrieve an item from my vehicle so asked security for the valet, they were no where to be found. Security was rude and made me feel like I was an inconvenience for asking for someone to help with my keys. Facility is older but clean. Will stay elsewhere next trip to Tempe.

Tempe Mission Palms is an excellent choice for both convenience and comfort. The hotel’s location was ideal—just minutes from Arizona State University, local attractions, and plenty of restaurants and shops. Staff was very friendly and welcoming!

On a two week vacation throughout the "Four Corner" states, this was definitely among the top of all the hotels we stayed in. The courtyard was so lovely and a surprise to find. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff throughout the hotel was terrific.

Beautiful courtyard and lobby. Fireplaces dotted throughout the property common spaces, both inside and out. A nice restaurant would be a bonus. The one that they have called: Harry's Place, has good food, but it is more of a lounge with a very limited menu. The breakfast buffet was wonderful!

From start to finish - this hotel exceeded my expectations. The valet guy was super friendly and helped me load my luggage onto a cart escorted me to my room, valet my vehicle, and assured me that it was safe. The room service food was outstanding which was a pleasant surprise - I had the personal cheese pizza - crunchy crust - super tasty. The bed was excellent and so were the pillows. Room temperature was perfect and the hot water and water pressure were great. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Orlando and Nicolas were charming valets and helped me with my luggage and vehicle retrieval. Fantastic place!

Love this hotel, though they no longer allow pets. I highly recommend the hotel for the location and cleanliness, do not suggest room service as food was subpar. Will not be back since they are Not pet friendly .
