We booked this hotel to spend time relaxing after a hectic 2 weeks travelling in Vietnam and Cambodia. The hotel did not fail to impress us and ensured we had an amazing 5 days here. The staff throughout the hotel were welcoming, friendly and always keen to help. We chose a swim-up room which allowed us to swim from our room straight to the pool bar! Our room had everything we needed including complimentary bottled water every day. The breakfast was excellent each day, loads of variety and seemed to cater well of all tastes and expectations. The pool area was well maintained and there was never an issue with getting a sun bed at any time of the day. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Kata Beach and there are loads of bars and restaurants all close to the hotel. This holiday was exactly as we had hoped and would highly recommend the hotel.

Far exceeded expectations! Standards and style over its price point. The kata beach, restaurants and stores were superb. I did find the walk to the beach to be a nice distance, did not need the shuttle that was offered. Super nice personell and I do recommend the spa.

Its a neat and clean property and well laid out. Staff are very good .. from reception to HK n at restaurants. Only downside I found was use of Massage facility - they did not offer d private room to begin with and were in a hurry to start. When I insisted on a seperate room, they realised the AC was not working there. They also did not offer the use of d Sauna before or after the massage. A third party therapist, most probably, came and expected me to try switching on the AC. Only my daughter ended up using the facility and even she was not happy with the experience. The other small flaw, was the restaurant staff did not allow a take away breakfast. When I spoke to d reception, they said we have to inform 1 day before.. strange.. as most hotels around d world, let u load ur bfast in boxes n also give u a take away coffee cup. Else the quality of food in restaurant n also room service was good. The Pool n d decor around reception area were the highlights. Good value for money.. if u dont mind some fellow tourist shouting around d pool in some strange language :)

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral zwischen Kata und Karon. Die Anlage bietet Ruhe von der sonst sehr hektischen Umgebung. Das Frühstücksbüffet war umfangreich und die angebotenen Speisen frisch und lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Die Pooltemperatur war exrem erfrischend, wenn man kaltes Wasser mag :-)

We just came back from our holiday having spent 12 nights in this hotel. Hotel is located 500 metres away from Kata beach which is very much walkable however the hotel provides free shuttle bus twice a day. Location is very much in the centre of busy and crowded Kata town but as soon as you turn into the hotel grounds it feels tranquil and peaceful. Room was very spacious, breakfast excellent; there is something for everyone. There is a gym, kids playroom and spa in the hotel. Swimming pool area is very nice, clean with plenty of sun lounges available and with very few guests being around. Pool bar serves food and drinks with happy hour 17.00 - 19.00. The only negative for me ( but it is a personal preference) the water in the pool is really cold. For me the best part of this hotel is its staff: without them and their hard work none of the above would be possible. Yes, some may say that their English is not good enough but they are doing their best to please everyone. And everything is done with Thai warmth and smile. Remember, Thailand is their country so showing them respect and appreciation for what they do is all what they all need. There are so many positives about this hotel that little mistakes should be forgotten. Well done Aurico team, keep smiling :-)

A great looking hotel with nice pools. The staff were lovely, our room had a comfortable bed and was really clean. Kata Walking Street Market and Kata Night Market are a few minutes away along with lots of other shops so you have access to everything you need. Kata Beach and Karon Beach are both 10 minutes walk away so you can take your pick.

This was our 2nd stay at Aurico. The location is in a great area, two beaches are accessible by walking and there is a nice cafe and are some decent restaurants around. Great cost performance hotel. However, wifi wasn’t good. Also the cleaning could be improved. If you like a simple place with basics and a nice pool then this is the place for you.

Hotellet og dets personale var på alle måder perfekt. Der var 100% rent og super service fra alle personalegrupper. Der var meget larm fra de kinesiske gæster, som desværre taler/råber meget højt til hinanden.

Erstes Zimmer musste gewechselt werden aufgrund von Ameisen Lärm durch Verbindungstür. Zimmerwechsel kein Problem. Kleiderschrank etwas klein, dafür aber sehr großes Zimmer. Reinigung des Bades lässt zu wünschen übrig. Armaturen sowie Dusche voll mit Kalk Seifenreste. Scheibe zwischen Bad und Zimmer noch dreckig von anderen Gästen (Handabdrücke). Schlauch der Dusche war undicht. Klimaanlage war auf niedrigster Stufe so laut, dass man nachts nicht schlafen konnte. Balkontüren sehr dünn, dadurch sehr hellhörig. Zimmertür ebenso sehr hellhörig. Frühstück wird schon um halb 11 abgeräumt obwohl es bis 11 geht. WLAN war zwar da, aber im Zimmer Verbindungsabbrüche, jedoch auf der Hotelanlage einwandfrei. Schmutzwäsche-Wagen wurde immer Nachts gegen 12 Uhr vom Personal lautstark über den Gang gefahren. Handtücher waren teilweise defekt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Schöner Pool sowie Poolbar. Fitnessraum vorhanden, aber nicht mehr. Gäste überwiegend Ostblock(Russland etc.) Rollervermietung direkt auf dem Parkplatz vom Hotel sehr freundlich und zu empfehlen.

La struttura è bella e in una posizione non troppo distante dalle spiagge. Sarebbe necessaria una pulizia più accurata delle parti comuni. Colazione con poca scelta di dolce rispetto al salato. Hotel forse più impostato per clientela asiatica e russa. La parte dell’hotel più vicina ai locali notturni risulta essere molto rumorosa la notte. Per questo ho dovuto richiedere un cambio camera nonostante avessi richiesto esplicitamente in fase di prenotazione una camera tranquilla.

Veldig fint hotell som ligger litt bortgjemt vekk fra støy, men likevel sentralt. Bra service og hyggelig betjening. Ca 10 min å gå fra både Kata og Karon beach. Ikke «beste» strøk, men opplevdes som trygt. Minus for renhold. Dusjdører på rommet klart ikke vasket etter forrige gjester.

Stayed here in January 2024 - asked for a more private room so stayed on the right hand side as you walk over the bridge in a swim up room, and we did have privacy. Pool was never ‘full’ - had hardly anyone in there! I’d say there was a few issues with cleanliness and overall wear and tear of the property that let it down. On our swim up room, on the left hand side outside there is a small area of plants/ bushes etc. On the first night we stayed my partner spotted a mouse/ rat in one of the bushes which was leaving droppings on our outdoor space the length of our stay. During our stay the outdoor space was never cleaned by the cleaners so the droppings remained there. Also, the chair in the room had been damaged, and there was some general wear and tear in the bathroom that could have easily been corrected/ sorted. On one final note, it sounded like people in the other rooms (above and to the side) - all they did was drag their chairs around their room??? There was a terrible noise throughout the day of chairs being dragged around - morning, noon and night. Very strange!

We had a short stay here of 4 nights after island hoping. On arrival this hotel tucked away off a very busy, hustle bustle road. So very convenient for shops, food, massage ...infact everything! The hotel is lovely, we was greeted and made to feel instantly welcome from the friendly staff. We had a pool access room and it was lovely. Very quiet , calm and relaxing. Beds very comfy,there was a fridge with water. The breakfast was great, plenty of options for all nationalities. They cook fresh omelette and eggs for you. My husband managed to rustle up a rough version of a english breakfast, while i was happy to have have toast , cereal and croissant. We found the whole experience in this hotel lovely. They have a beautiful resident cat in the reception too, and the staff love their cat , which was heart warming to see. This hotel couldnt be anymore central, but once you walk off the busy street into the hotel area , its very calm and quiet. And a big plus its flat , no big hills to climb. Which im glad i did my research as some hotels in this area , are up extremely STEEP HILLS...this one isnt .... Highly recommended

The hotel is lovely, we was greeted and made to feel instantly welcome from the friendly staff. We had a pool access room and it was lovely. Very quiet , calm and relaxing. Beds very comfy,there was a fridge with water. The breakfast was great, plenty of options for all nationalities. They cook fresh omelette and eggs for you. My husband managed to rustle up a rough version of a english breakfast, while i was happy to have have toast , cereal and croissant. We found the whole experience in this hotel lovely. They have a beautiful resident cat in the reception too, and the staff love their cat , which was heart warming to see. This hotel couldnt be anymore central, but once you walk off the busy street into the hotel area , its very calm and quiet. And a big plus its flat , no big hills to climb. Which im glad i did my research as some hotels in this area , are up extremely STEEP HILLS...this one isnt .... Highly recommended

The pictures for this stay misrepresented the stay, I feel like. We thought we would get a jungly high end hotel. What we got was very minimal, industrial, cold feeling resort. The place was empty so few people to meet and very cold feeling in decor

Ein tolles Hotel in einer etwas ruhigeren Ecke von Kata Beach. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direktem Pool-Access und würden es wieder buchen. Der Service an der Reception war stets zuvorkommend und höflich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich.

Erstes Zimmer musste gewechselt werden aufgrund von Ameisen Lärm durch Verbindungstür. Zimmerwechsel kein Problem. Kleiderschrank etwas klein, dafür aber sehr großes Zimmer. Reinigung des Bades lässt zu wünschen übrig. Armaturen sowie Dusche voll mit Kalk Seifenreste. Scheibe zwischen Bad und Zimmer noch dreckig von anderen Gästen (Handabdrücke). Schlauch der Dusche war undicht. Klimaanlage war auf niedrigster Stufe so laut, dass man nachts nicht schlafen konnte. Balkontüren sehr dünn, dadurch sehr hellhörig. Zimmertür ebenso sehr hellhörig. Frühstück wird schon um halb 11 abgeräumt obwohl es bis 11 geht. WLAN war zwar da, aber im Zimmer Verbindungsabbrüche, jedoch auf der Hotelanlage einwandfrei. Schmutzwäsche-Wagen wurde immer Nachts gegen 12 Uhr vom Personal lautstark über den Gang gefahren. Handtücher waren teilweise defekt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Schöner Pool sowie Poolbar. Fitnessraum vorhanden, aber nicht mehr. Gäste überwiegend Ostblock(Russland etc.) Rollervermietung direkt auf dem Parkplatz vom Hotel sehr freundlich und zu empfehlen.

A great looking hotel with nice pools. The staff were lovely, our room had a comfortable bed and was really clean. Kata Walking Street Market and Kata Night Market are a few minutes away along with lots of other shops so you have access to everything you need. Kata Beach and Karon Beach are both 10 minutes walk away so you can take your pick.

Far exceeded expectations! Standards and style over its price point. The kata beach, restaurants and stores were superb. I did find the walk to the beach to be a nice distance, did not need the shuttle that was offered. Super nice personell and I do recommend the spa.

I liked the room facilities, very clean and spacious room. The price was amazing value for the high standard of the hotel. The only thing that frustrated me was the reception staff did not speak english and had to keep referring my query to one person on staff. Loved the pool and outdoor area and the breakfast, which was included in our package, was varied and yummy every day. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was central to the beaches and not far from other towns. I would stay here again.

Its a neat and clean property and well laid out. Staff are very good .. from reception to HK n at restaurants. Only downside I found was use of Massage facility - they did not offer d private room to begin with and were in a hurry to start. When I insisted on a seperate room, they realised the AC was not working there. They also did not offer the use of d Sauna before or after the massage. A third party therapist, most probably, came and expected me to try switching on the AC. Only my daughter ended up using the facility and even she was not happy with the experience. The other small flaw, was the restaurant staff did not allow a take away breakfast. When I spoke to d reception, they said we have to inform 1 day before.. strange.. as most hotels around d world, let u load ur bfast in boxes n also give u a take away coffee cup. Else the quality of food in restaurant n also room service was good. The Pool n d decor around reception area were the highlights. Good value for money.. if u dont mind some fellow tourist shouting around d pool in some strange language :)

We had a swim out room beside our friend’s room and it was perfect! This property is gorgeous and they clearly take pride in providing the best guest experience. The property is immaculate, the staff are super kind and always greet you with a smile. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone and the location of the hotel was perfect. We liked that it was walking distance to Kata and Karon beaches, close to street markets, restaurants, and the Makro grocery store where we bought our wine and a few items. We stayed at 5 properties during our time in Thailand and this was definitely a favourite.

Das Frühstücksbüffet war umfangreich und die angebotenen Speisen frisch und lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Die Pooltemperatur war exrem erfrischend, wenn man kaltes Wasser mag :-)

We just came back from our holiday having spent 12 nights in this hotel. Hotel is located 500 metres away from Kata beach which is very much walkable however the hotel provides free shuttle bus twice a day. Location is very much in the centre of busy and crowded Kata town but as soon as you turn into the hotel grounds it feels tranquil and peaceful. Room was very spacious, breakfast excellent; there is something for everyone. There is a gym, kids playroom and spa in the hotel. Swimming pool area is very nice, clean with plenty of sun lounges available and with very few guests being around. Pool bar serves food and drinks with happy hour 17.00 - 19.00. The only negative for me ( but it is a personal preference) the water in the pool is really cold. For me the best part of this hotel is its staff: without them and their hard work none of the above would be possible. Yes, some may say that their English is not good enough but they are doing their best to please everyone. And everything is done with Thai warmth and smile. Remember, Thailand is their country so showing them respect and appreciation for what they do is all what they all need. There are so many positives about this hotel that little mistakes should be forgotten. Well done Aurico team, keep smiling :-)

Hadde 2 fantastiske uker på Aurico. Hotellet er nytt og smakfult innredet. Frokosten er av svært høy klasse. De ansatte er enestående . Vi hadde rom med direkte utgang til basseng, føltes som ren lukseus. 5-6 minutter å gå til strand.

Ein tolles Hotel in einer etwas ruhigeren Ecke von Kata Beach. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direktem Pool-Access und würden es wieder buchen. Der Service an der Reception war stets zuvorkommend und höflich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich.

Not a bad place to stay. The cleaners could.make more effort, as.minimal effort was apploed in room.cleaning. breakfast for vegetarians was Very limited . Otherewise great location for both Kata and Karon. Making Patong also reachable at reasonable prices.

Its a neat and clean property and well laid out. Staff are very good .. from reception to HK n at restaurants. Only downside I found was use of Massage facility - they did not offer d private room to begin with and were in a hurry to start. When I insisted on a seperate room, they realised the AC was not working there. They also did not offer the use of d Sauna before or after the massage. A third party therapist, most probably, came and expected me to try switching on the AC. Only my daughter ended up using the facility and even she was not happy with the experience. The other small flaw, was the restaurant staff did not allow a take away breakfast. When I spoke to d reception, they said we have to inform 1 day before.. strange.. as most hotels around d world, let u load ur bfast in boxes n also give u a take away coffee cup. Else the quality of food in restaurant n also room service was good. The Pool n d decor around reception area were the highlights. Good value for money.. if u dont mind some fellow tourist shouting around d pool in some strange language :)

I enjoyed my stay, check in was smooth and simple. The aesthetics were nice, even did a photoshoot. Breakfast was excellent especially with the omelette station and fresh pancakes. I would of preferred more fruits selection than watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple. I wish they would of had their homeland fruits like mangosteen, dragon fruit..etc The bed was comfy, I had the swim up pool entry room I was in the pool everyday! Outside the hotel you weren’t far from market, restaurants, bars.

Nice hotel but did have its flaws, areas of the hotel/ room were starting to look tired and needed a refresh, the shower doesn’t get warm and has awful pressure. The hotel staff are lovely, apart from the reception they can be quite rude and very unhelpful. The hotel is definitely more catered for Chinese tourists. The hotel is fine but I probably wouldn’t stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Aurico Hotel and were extremely pleased with the overall experience. The hotel was excellent in every way. The food service was very good, especially the breakfast, which was delicious and offered a great variety of options. We also used the spa/massage services, and they were exceptional. The rooms were spotless, well maintained, and cleaned daily, which made our stay even more comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout. Overall, it was an excellent stay. We would rate it 5 out of 5 and would highly recommend Aurico Hotel.

The pool was wonderful. Very welcoming and nice. Only improvement would be suggestion on hot water delivery to the shower as it takes around 6 minutes to heat up.
