Value for your dollar, this place is great. For under $200 a night, you get a clean room with vinyl wood flooring, a comfortable bed, and a pretty nice breakfast of oatmeal, pastries, muffins, bagels, yogurt, raisins and apples, with orange juice (which tasted fresh) apple juice, coffee and tea. A great savings and we could hit the pavement for our day of sightseeing. The bar is very small and not open long. Negatives: our toilet ran constantly ending in a high pitched squeak, and it took a few days to get it fixed, and they only elongated the time between that it would run. We closed the door and lived with it. Also, we were on the 4th floor and the ice machine room that was right next to us gurgled so loud it sounded like there was a water park near. Thankfully, we couldn't hear it in the room, but it was loud in the hallway. The property was close to a condo air BnB my daughter was staying at. The staff was friendly. I would stay there again for value for your dollar, cleanliness, and location.

The bathroom was dirty, there was a stain that looked like blood on the rug. The room barely fit two beds due to the ac being 2 inches away from one of the beds. The breakfast looked old. The only good thing was the 12 pm check out and the valet guy was super nice.

Room was good and very spacious. Bed was comfy, water pressure from shower is great. But, the bathroom shower had mold, no microwave and you could slightly hear noise through the walls. The area where the elevators are, stunk really bad. The seating areas in the lobby are very nice, but the couches left of the bar area were very dirty. Looks like they have never been cleaned.

For the price and location of this hotel I’m shocked how run down and bad it’s being kept. Due to travel dates I had to change my dates and my other hotel could not accommodate so I found this place and it had great reviews but I was wrong! I had no choice but to stay. Breakfast was non existent, bagels and muffins on top of the bar. Mandatory valet service and the service was terrible! You barely found the guy and he was rude! I was not told of the daily valet rate until I checked in AND a daily incidental fee. My room had ants, bathroom had mold and wouldn’t drain, the mini fridge didn’t work. It smelled musty and the AC had mold in it !! and wet. Shower curtain was ripped and old. Almost $@&/: stay for this! ( can’t mention how much but it was a lot) I couldnt move hotels because I’d lose my money and I had no other last minute options. Tried to talk to front desk but no resolution. Nope ..

We had a really nice stay at Hayes Street Hotel, the front desk staff were so helpful with area suggestions and information. My only disappointment was a musty odor in our room, it dissipated or was at least less noticeable once in the room a few minutes but you smelled it again upon return. The toilet wheezed for at least 5 minutes after flushing which was unpleasant early morning and late at night but bearable. The breakfast was simple and definitely enough (more so Han many continental breakfasts contain) Over all we enjoyed our stay and it was a good value for the price paid.

Rooms were terribly small and drab. I usually stay at a Hampton and tried something different this time. This was definitely a downgrade. I was unable to receive $20 bev credit, staff didn’t know what I was talking about. Not a great place for dogs if you’re traveling with one.

Staff were very helpful, and accommodated our requests re storage of luggage and a room change after our first night. Our initial room was a conjoining room, which wasn't so good, as you could hear the conversation of the people in the next room. Our second room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. The bathroom vanity was a little on the small side. Breakfast was good, although not as much variety as other hotels we visited. The foyer area had plenty of seating, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the swinging chair while we waited for our Uber rides. We would definitely stay here again.

Horrible. No internet in room for entire stay of four days. Blinds broken down position room really dark. Air smelled every time AC turned on and AC was very loud No fan in bathroom no lock on bathroom door. Really terrible experience.

Showed up at 4pm to check in waited till 9pm in the lobby never got checked in and was finally told by the front desk they where going to send me to another hotel when I asked questions like where and why am I just now finding out about this at 9pm after waiting this long she raised her voice and was rude,I told her I’ll make my own booking for tonight and can stay with them tomorrow she told me someone would reach out. Never heard from anyone and THEY CHARGED ME TO WAIT 4.5 Hours be rude and turn me away(i prepaid!). I’ve left messages with management never heard from anyone.I prepaid and booked with Hotels.com and they called to resolve with front desk multiple times but front desk refused to do anything about it and then had the nerve to be rude after I sat quietly for 4.5 hours. WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD.I wasn’t even mad till now day 2 haven’t received a call they don’t answer and they charged me for this customer service disaster.

Nicely located property. We stayed there three nights and unfortunately our rooms were not cleaned the entire time. The staff seems miserable. Not a friendly word from anyone. I have never tipped a valet in cash before and not had them acknowledge it. No one was friendly.

The front desk staff at time of check in was exceptional. I’m a coffee drinker and needed an extra pod for my room I asked the front desk and the receptionist had one waiting with a warm smile on her face. Everyone including the valet was friendly and helpful. The rooms are quiet and comfortable! We enjoyed our stay at the Hayes Hotel very much.

The front desk staff was incredibly rude. We waited ten minutes to have a question answered because the staff was busy discussing a show they watched and could not be bothered to notice us. Could not request anything needed unless it was before 10am. So no extra towel or shampoo since our room was missing it to begin with. The breakfast was ok… bagels and oatmeal. They would not refill the water jug when asked. Also… no key card entry required after hours. Anyone could walk in and take the elevator up to any floor at any hour of the day. Did not feel very safe at all.

Excellent position to access the many sights of both Downtown and Midtown Nashville. Clean and tidy with polite friendly concierge though the valet parkers were often hard to find. The parking costs are steep and our stay was marred by some roadworks.Quick but limited breakfast.Room clean and tidy.

The hotel was nice, and I was lucky to get the last room available. The room was spacious, though it was a handicap room that I was unaware of, but happy to get one. Beds were comfortable, and rooms were clean. Breakfast was disappointing, very limited. We ended up drinking coffee, and that was it. Lobby bathrooms were locked and not accessible, which would have been helpful. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for a night.

Overall, our stay was just ok. Average hotel for the price. Not pleased with the breakfast - limited options, food was stale. The nice parts were having a coffee/bar water available throughout the day. Front desk staff were not the friendliest. I had an issue that was brought to their attention and their response was abrupt and unwelcoming.

The hotel was okay. Location was good for getting to Broadway. However, the site says “parking available” but does not indicate it is Valet only and if a $42 per night charge. Also, the free breakfast was toast, apples, bananas and oatmeal.
