The stay was fine. Would stay again. Wasn’t horrible and wasn’t great. Worth the price and convenient to my location I was there visiting. Pool was way over chlorinated it actually bleached my swim suit and burned my eyes to where I could only stay for just a moment. The curtains in room definitely needed replaced. The breakfast was good and staff was nice. Overall a pleasant experience.

Pretty pleased with this one. Attended a track meet in Lawrence and many hotels were already book in the area. Saw a review that said nothing was around this...indeed! Just enough around. I was told by very friendly clerk it was prob 10-15 minutes until I really got into the heart of some fast-food joints. It's a bit out there in Topeka but easy enough access. Not a ton of traffic on the road outside made it quieter. There are some eating options around and I enjoyed the Mexican joint a couple minutes down the road. Also some BBQ and uh, a nudie joint. Only saw one staffer but she was good. Room was above-average clean. Shower had decent pressure and hot water. Very easy to park. Good wi-fi...unless you're the TV, which was in-and-out. Never felt unsafe. Pretty pleased with facility.

Good place for overnight stay! Comfy bed lots of comfy pillows-no flat ones!!! Nice walk in shower with a chair available if needed. Clean fluffy towels. Pool was clean and relaxing. Some restaurants close by. Easy on off 75.

Everything seemed ok in the room except the curtains were falling off the rod, looked horrendous. They hung over the heater, so I has to tuck them into the window frame just so the heat could flow. No channel guide, like most hotels print for the room. Ice machine on 3rd floor was out of service. Never seen to find a good hotel with an ice machine in the 3rd floor that works. I noticed upon check in, some "residents" of the hotel were in the pool area with food and drink. That's not supposed to be allowed either. I have worked hospitality before, and that's normally not allowed. Bed was hard, pillows small and uncomfortable. Not enough outlets to plug in charging devices for phones, tablets, etc. Heater only ran on high for the heat, so I had to adjust the temperature knob, that was touchy itself. Sometimes it was to hot, or to chilly. But no other option. Didn't appreciate being put in the 3rd floor, all the way to the end of the hallway. Guess maybe 3rd party bookings get stuck with the 3rd floor??

This is the first hotel I’ve seen where they use residential sticky rodent traps outside rooms. It makes your mind wonder what else is going on, and if they taking similar shortcuts on cleanliness. It was uneasy. You don’t see that at a retail store let alone a hotel that’s serving food around the corner.

We've been on a 3 week trip. This was by far the best economy hotel of our journey. Super clean, pet friendly, friendly staff, convenient to Highway 470. The shower had perfect water pressure and felt amazing. There are 3 breweries close-by. The 785 Brewery allows dogs on their patio and has great food. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staffing crew were nice and friendly. Upon checking in to my room, the front desk called my room to make sure all was well. They were ready and willing to help. The negative aspect of the hotel relates to cleanliness. My bedding blanket is not supposed to have odor but mine did have some. The love seat and the room floor were not very clean. Notwithstanding the hotel's shortfalls, I was very satisfied and would book the hotel again if I have to.

Stairway was a little dirty but the room was clean. The air conditioner in the room was not on so the room was hot and took awhile to cool down. (We did book it less than an hour before we got there). Breakfast was very basic but good. (Waffles, cereal, yogurt, etc)

Super clean and very quiet. Hotel was easy to get to (right on Topeka Blvd). Couldn't hear traffic or neighbors at night. Safe area. Beds were very firm. Large bathroom vanity. Didn't eat breakfast because it was just waffles, breads & cereal. Pool looked nice & clean but we didn't have time to use it. We would stay here again for the price.

The walls were paper thin and you could hear everyone clearly in the other rooms. The door did not touch the floor so you could get woken up by people passing by in the hallway easily. Housekeeping knocked on the door and even tried to get into the room over 2 hours before my checkout time as I was trying to sleep. Overall, not the best experience. The hotel room was clean.

Positives: An excellent value for the price. Clean. The only hotel in Topeka close to the airport. The breakfast was basic. The only hot item was the waffles. But it only advertised a continental breakfast and it more than lived up to what was advertised. Negatives: the water pressure on the 3rd floor was very low...virtually non-existent at high use times. It was also lukewarm as best.

There were no USB ports for charging my phone, etc. One electrical outlet in the bathroom so had to leave my phone in the bathroom to charge rather than have it beside me in case of emergency. Needs to be updated. Carpet crackled under my feet - pretty gross. No pressure in the shower, either.

The gal who checked us in was rude and broke the law by asking for information regarding my service dog. She was insistent that she was entitled to demand an ID number. When we reported that the air conditioning was not working, she was incredibly rude, explaining that it takes time for it to "kick in".

Stated they were service dog friendly. Upon arriving at almost midnight wanted paperwork and documents provided for service dog. This was never stated in check-in instructions or l on website, so had Expedia refund me and went somewhere else much more accepting and accommodating.

Location to event and the lady working the counter was very friendly and helpful. There was a lot of people staying this night for a youth event that had to be gone early 0545. She said we could get the breakfast grab and go stuff early. The morning lady was entirely different. I turned on the light. She shut it off and said get your stuff in the dark. Very unprofessional. Would not even listen to us. Tried explaining what the night clerk had said. She just said this is my rule you’re going to do it my way.

We had planned a one night stop at this hotel as a halfway point on our way to somewhere else. We had an emergency and needed to stay an extra night and have a later check out. The staff were incredibly helpful, understanding, and accommodating. We are very thankful to have had a positive experience at this hotel following a very stressful event.

It was a good stay. It wasn't the nicest place I've stayed at but it was definitely better than crappy and it is located in my opinion a good spot. You're not right in the middle of Topeka your just on the edge of Topeka but an easy drive to so many things and places.

The motel itself was great. Easy on and off expressway and clean with good breakfast and clean pool. The area is near the National Guard base and alot of military families were at the hotel. I do not feel unsafe but the area is a industrial park with alot of vacant buildings as well as adult entertainment areas and a large salvage yard across the street. "Feels" unsafe at first sight.

This Super 8 is south of Topeka in a very wide open and quiet area. Parking lot was empty when I arrived just after 3 pm, but was full when I left the next morning. Never heard a sound. Kind of isolated, but a nice food stop/diner/gas station around the corner. I loaded up on pizza slices and hot deli sandwiches for under $20 and was good for the night and the morning. Diner was packed. Great coffee service in the room with gourmet coffee packs and a 4-cup brewer. Good location for low traffic into the heart of the capitol and all the official buildings. Never worried about my vehicle.

Pool hours are 9a-8:30p. Kinda crappy. Breakfast has cereal, granola bars, or waffles. Waffle batter is pre-filled for you and it doesn't make a full waffle. Didsappointing. Hotel isn't in a great part of town, which we realized after we got there. Staff acted liked like we were a burden

This is an older hotel so a little dated but clean. I wish the pool was heated and there is no where to sit and you have to ask for towels. I wished there were more breakfast options there was waffles, yougart, muffins, granola bars and cereal. No proteins meats, boiled eggs, eggs. This is not in a central location in Topeka so a bit out of the way.

My 85 y/o mother and I were in town for a family reunion and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is a bit dated, not a problem for us. Our rooms were clean and odor free and the air conditioner worked great. The ice maker down the hall worked and the in room fridge worked. The hotel DOES have a breakfast that included coffee, there was a juice dispenser (apple/orange), milk, yogurt cups, fixings for waffles and toast, cereal (raisin bran & frosted flakes), granola bars. This hotel met our needs. The room rates were reasonable and we plan to return here next year.

Check-in was super fast. I was in my room within 10 minutes. I had driven 12 hours, and was super tired. It was so hot out all day, and the room was super cooled down already. Bed was comfortable. The only hot breakfast was waffles, which will be good for most. I'm trying to watch my sugar intake, so I passed, and picked up breakfast out for the next day's drive.
