Lovely hotel in downtown Vancouver, great base for exploring the city. Rooms are very clean and well equipped, beds are super comfortable. Reception and front of house staff very professional, friendly and helpful. Had breakfast in the attached restaurant which was lovely. This hotel also has bicycles on a first come first served basis, we didn’t avail of these but it is a great option. Guests have access to a fully equipped gym next door to the hotel, there is also a small gym on the hotels second floor

Had a great stay. Perfect location and enjoyed borrowing their bikes for a ride to Stanley Park. Very friendly staff and they left us extra waters and tea when straightening the room every day.

Stayed over night for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is lovely, and very charming- old Victorian style. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time and like to thank the front desk clerk for complementary wine and chocolates as a gift. Was just a little confused with the parking. It said valet parking, but you actually self park. Check in first, get an access code from the front desk, and pull around/into the alleyway to the left to park underground the hotel. If you are looking for a hotel located central in the heart of Vancouver, I would recommend this one. Very close to eateries, museums, and downtown.

Loved the hotel. Felt more european. Staff friendly and helpful. Loved Alouette restaurant, had drinks after dinner and breakfast. Their croissant eggs benedict was amazing. Loved our corner suite. I wish they would upgrade to a glass spa-like shower in their next remodel. The underground parking garage is a little tight. We took the last spot in the garage early on a Saturday night. My VIP Platinum benefit was to include Free Valet Parking, but it was free self park. Appreciated all the same, saved $50. And the parking was very convenient, just take an elevator right up into the hotel. Complimentary YWCA fitness privileges and the Burrard SkyTrain station is one block from the back corner of the hotel. Highly recommend.

Whatever smell was added to the bathroom was unpleasant and distracting. Staff was vacuuming the hallway at 8:00pm when I was trying to rest. Check in staff were distracted and there was minimal staff and long line.

Very nice hotel with beautiful fireplace in lobby. Our room was very large with separate sitting area. Bedding was clean and comfortable, my only complaint is the heater was loud when it came on. We shut our door the second night to not listen to it. I would stay here again.

I only stayed a night but it was a lovely room, king bed and den suite. The den/sitting area you could hear the hall noises of people passing by at times. However, the room was quiet once it was late. Everything was clean in the room and I enjoyed the small amenities of robe, slippers etc..

We had a surprisingly good stay here! I say surprising because this was our first time in BC and only chose it as it was the cheapest option so last minute. It was decorated so cute like a vintage Parisian hotel and yet it was clean. We had no issues checking in or out. They even included complimentary slippers! I was very excited about that. Also, we paid the extra $29 per room for breakfast and that turned out to be a hack because they give you vouchers for the attached restaurant where they give enormous portions and a free drink! We loved that and enjoyed ourselves a real vacation. The only cons we experienced were that we had to pay $48 for valet parking (unless you want to do the extra work to find other options off-site), and it took 5-10 minutes to check in because we had to wait for staff to show up, but it was 6pm. The staff are all nice though.

This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. It's unique and beautiful decor takes you away to another world. Having a living area and separate bedroom felt like a small apartment. Very safe neighborhood. I traveled as a single female and felt very safe walking from the Canada Line from the airport to the hotel, even at 7:00pm. The location of the hotel is exceptional. Walkable to major sites, shopping, and public transportation. If you walk down the street the hotel is on you can catch the Aquabus ferry to Granville. Rooms are well-appointed, beautifully decorated and have a lot of nice touches. The most important part of this hotel is the amazing staff and service members. I enjoyed that they remembered me and greeted me when I returned from busy days. I would stay here again and again. I walked by another hotel that I had been considering before I made my reservation and I would have been very disappointed at that property. Book here. Just trust me!

Great hotel, great location. Can't say enough good things. If there's one thing you MUST do, it's get the included breakfast. Other than one mythical breakfast buffet we had in Stuttgart once (fresh honeycomb?!), it's the best hotel breakfast we've ever had, made fresh at the attached French restaurant.

Love this Hotel, the breakfast included was amazing, and the restaurant is beautiful with an extensive wine list. Go on thursday wine is 1/2 price. We reserved a table in the restaurant and they gave it away and the restaurant was empty at this time. We wanted the table that was out of the draft area with soft chairs. No apology, we kinda lost our appetite.

Classic, but modern boutique hotel. Room wa great, very large, and if it wasn't raining, would have loved to use the balcony. Breakfast was good. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in Canada. Local area is 'interesting', seems to be a strip club next door - but its unrelated to the hotel. Location is very central, easy acess to downtown. Staff were really good, friendly and attentive. Rate was high, but comparable to other hotels in the area
