Excellent property in terms of decor and condition. Beautiful interior and elegant restaurant/bar area. Breakfast (à la carte) was very good. My only complaints were that even in a “Deluxe room” there is nowhere to unpack and put away clothes other than a small hanging closet (pet peeve to not have anywhere at all to put lingerie/folded clothes), there is no actual restaurant (only open limited hours just at lunch during the weekdays and only cold cut/cheese platters for room service), and as a solo woman traveler, the street it’s on is dark and uncomfortable to walk alone at night, even just to the Champs Elysées. So you can’t just walk for dinner nearby.

My stay at the hotel was certainly not a five star experience. The AC was not working in the room that I originally was put in and after one night of complaining they moved me to a new suite. That suite was on the sixth floor and had a small portable air-conditioning unit that barely kept the room cold. The staff was not helpful in the move, they were not wanting to relocate me in the hotel and the overall vibe and experience of the staff is certainly not a five star establishment. Nobody went out of their way to assist, they didn’t offer any compensation, assistance with moving rooms or any fraction of five star service. There is no turndown service, and in my opinion this is not a five star hotel.
