I would not recommend staying at this resort. My husband and I were very disappointed to find that the gym, spa and sauna were all closed during our entire stay of 4 days. There was only one restaurant available and no restaurants close by to walk or drive to. The area is unsafe after dark and very far from all activities and restaurants in mazatlan. Staff were not very friendly and the beds were not comfortable. Our room smelled musty. I would only recommend going if you are going for the golf course.

We booked this location specifically because of the airport shuttle. We called the hotel as well and confirmed that there was an airport shuttle and they said there was and that it started at 6 am. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told that there was not an airport shuttle. They called me a taxi that charged me 500 pesos for a 5 minute drive to the airport.

This is the worst experience, they did not clean the room on my second night, but not only that, they made a mess, All the drawers were open there was chocolate wrappers Plus they took my water jug. I ask the cleaning lady what happened she replied “I went in there but I didn’t have time to clean it” She didn’t even apologize. I went to the front desk ask them for a refund or a Comp and they refused. I will never stay there again.

We spent over a week at the Las Villas and we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet! We went to rest, rejuvenate and relax and we were NOT disappointed. Our room had a gorgeous view of the ocean where we watch dolphins swim by. The food at the restaurant was delicious! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We live in Durango, so it was the perfect get away for us - not to far and not to close! We will be back again for other times of rest! Thank you so much!

We visited the property with our soon to be daughter in law as a potential option for the wedding. The property was very nice, the suite we had was very nice, The sevice at the hotel was unfortunately very poor. At checkin we arrived early so we asked to check our bags and we would wait by the pool for our room to be ready. The guy at the front desk had us sign for three towels. We went to use the common restroom right by the front desk to change into shorts and swimwear, when we returned the towels were gone and he tried to charge us for more towels. Clearly we didn’t take them as they had our bags and we were only in the bathroom. we had brunch at the onsite restaurant next to the pool. The food took over an hour and was cold when it arrived. That might we decided to just order room service since sitting in an empty restaurant didn’t seem fun. It took an hour for the food to arrive, the pizza was ice cold, the sandwich and fries were cold and soggy. The next morning we had breakfast at the golf course restaurant. It took 30 minutes to get coffee and they forgot the cream. By the time they brought the cream the coffee was cold. I finally spoke to a guy in a jacket that seemed to be in charge after waiting 40 minutes for our food…just as my smoothie arrived. 40 min for a smoothie? It took another 20 min for our food to arrive. so an hour wait for breakfast. The building is beautiful, the service was terrible.

We stood here because the reviews were good but service sucks also make to check the locks on slidding doors due that locks don’t even work we had to switch rooms even after they said that they were none available. My brother had the same issue and in a different room. They forgot to give us towels we had to go to reception to remind them.and no supervisor came to see the what the issue was to address it or even offer an apology.not even a complementary of some kind. Hotel has beautiful view nice but service stinks.

Beautiful quiet beach. Staff is excellent at all levels. Best I have experienced at any beachfront hotel in Mexico and USA. Really got to relax and unwind. Only concern is that the amount of new construction ( Hotels, Condos and Homes ) will delete the tranquility of this outstanding resort.

This is about 40 minutes away from Mazatlan. We had absolute quiet and we were there to relax, we were in heaven. The restaurant staff were amazing and so was the food. My sister and I were completely relaxed when we left, wish we had more time. I would recommend to anyone who is not there to party or be in the middle of the action. From what I understand, it can be quite busy but we were there shortly after the new year and the bartender said it was always quiet for a few weeks at that time.

The property is beautiful, I came off season and had the entire pool to myself on 2 separate occasions. Great place to stay if you don’t care to go to the city, it is somewhat a nuisance to go back and forth without a car. Good onsite is expensive and not very good.
