The Palm Gardens is just off the 101 in Thousand Oaks. A breakfast buffet comes with your room. Great pool.and hot tub area for a day of relaxation. Next door is grocery store and liqour store. Across the street is Starbucks. Across the freeway is In and Out.

We have stayed here several times. We really like the pool and spa area. We suggest getting a room on the courtyard. Not sure why they are charging for parking, since there is a big parking lot around the hotel. Nice renovation to the restaurant. Breakfast comes with the room.

This motel was absolutely gorgeous. Well updated with fountains around every corner. The gardens were spectacular. The pool and hot tub were amazing. I highly recommend this stay. The food was fabulous as well.

This is the cutest boutique hotel! The rooms are very clean and updated. It has a beautiful courtyard with an amazing pool. It has a restraint connected to the hotel that is super cute and is where the breakfast that is included in your stay is served. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to have a late check out of 1pm. We will definitely be back!

We had our dog with us and it was so nice because there’s a huge courtyard and pet bags and there were a lot of other pets there. The pet fee was also very reasonable.

I booked this hotel last minute because it was affordable. The check in process was great and the room appeared to be clean. When I got into bed, the sheets smelled so strongly of bengay so it was obvious they weren’t changed between guests. I ended up just sleeping on top of them because I was too tired to change rooms or ask for new sheets.

I love staying at this hotel as it’s usually immaculate and everybody is very kind. This time the bathroom had a strong urine smell. I believe the floors around the toilet might not have been cleaned as well as usual. This is the first time I’ve ever had anything negative to say and know that you will quickly address this. Thank you so much for your kind service.

No elevator, difficult if you’re on 2nd and have lots of luggage. Parking wasn’t free, was $10 per day. Room was dirty and electrical circuits didn’t work.

Great service from check in to check out. Double queen room was new and clean. Got a courtyard room which was nice, but next to a sitting area so we were woken up quite a bit. Recommend a 2nd floor room or a room away from outdoor social areas.

Nice hotel, recently renovated. Our room was big and quiet. Nice service too! Room for improvement: 1. The included breakfast is a bit limited and varies from day to day. 2. The heater/AC is terribly noisy! The fan rattles and ”low” is almost windy. It was the same in the last room we had here as well. Sorry to say, but the quality of chosen make is poor. We had to turn it off at night to have a chance to sleep.

The room was very nice, clean, bathroom great and, most importantly, the bed was pretty good. I’m incredibly fussy about beds so this is a mostly good finding. Lots of towels, working fridge and freezer. Very pleased and would definitely stay there again. I might want to face the courtyard for noise but it really wasn’t a big issue. Recommend as a solid value.

Breakfast was good. Nothing fancy, but plenty of options and tasty. Clean and plenty of seating. The outdoor pool area was great, definitely could’ve hung out there all day on a nice day. The beds were probably some of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in and pillows were awful, but the room was clean. It was fine for one night. Walls are very thin so you hear a lot. Didn’t bother me, but it could definitely bother someone.

The water pressure was abysmal, but the furnishings and bathroom were very nice. It would be 5 stars if the AC worked properly, but unfortunately it didn’t get the room cold even after running all night.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We travelled with my 85 year old mother and they made all accommodations that we requested for her. The grounds are beautiful, a true destination spot. There are so many areas to relax and enjoy the water features, gardens and poolside. It was truly a retreat!

The staff and room cleanliness were exceptional. We did have a problem with the heater, which led to a less than optimal nights sleep. However, the staff indicated that they could have brought in a temporary heater had we called, but we were simply too tired at that point. The only real challenge with the heater not working was that we could not turn on the fan to block out the freeway noise, but again we know the staff would’ve been willing to try to address this issue.

Best hotel ever! But the NIGHT staff front desk was the worst. One girl was laughing. And the other guy wouldn’t tell me his name. I was really calm with everyone. I am almost 60 years only. And been to many hotels at least 6 times a year or more and spend at least 2 days to 2 weeks a year. When I contact higher up…when I get a chance in regard to that night shift, except for the security guy. He was the only one that was nice. And the 3 police officers that came out were extremely nice.

The check in was pretty terrible. The girl, the younger one was not professional at all. Didn’t smile. Not friendly at all. When I asked questions about the hotel she acted like I was bothering her. I was asking her about the breakfast and she gave me a weird look. Now the next guy who showed up was not professional at all. I asked for security. And he said over and over what do you need? Very rude! When you ask for security usually you should have a sympathetic heart. If someone asks me to get security I would do all I can to help! The staff is very rude. When I talked to Jessica I asked for security and she said. He’s doing something for me. What kind of answer is that? So he’s doing a favor for her and can’t be bothered. Really? Then the security guy is her personal assistant. What is security for? For employees? What kind of place is this…. A nice place but horrible staff. I have never been to a hotel where ALL the staff were rude! And I travel a lot. No one cared. The rudest I would say was the guy! I asked him his name AND HE RUFFUSED TO GIVE ME HIS NAME. What the heck! And he says he was the manager. So prior they he kept hanging up the phone. I called the front desk and the light on the phone turned off, plus I was asking for security a few times and he was rude and kept hanging up the phone. I kept having to call back. In the morning I’m going to call hotel.com. Btw, the Security guy WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS NICE! I will also talk to the manager tomorrow.

We really enjoyed our stay at the palm garden hotel. The location is great it’s close to what we needed. There is a grocery store and many food options walking distance. The room was nice and clean. The pool area was great! We loved the size of the pool and the gazebos for shade. Overall we loved the decor! We will definitely be back and recommend the hotel!

I've stayed at this hotel many times but this was the first time I was given a room on the back side of the property which butts up against the very busy 101 freeway. My room did not have trees to buffer the freeway noise (hello sleepless night). Needless to say, I "upgraded" my room the next morning for a fee. Wasn't too happy about that.

Such a great find. We always stay here when traveling to the LA area. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities very nice. Shares a parking lot with a little shopping center with gas, grocery and some eateries. Across the street is a bigger shop center, with more restaurants and Starbucks. No problem parking and very quiet and comfortable.

Have stayed here several times. Property has been updated; rooms have LVT flooring and bathrooms are nicely done. Appreciate having a makeup mirror and good lighting. Hot breakfast is provided. Rooms open to the outside; hotel is well lit and I felt safe even when traveling alone. Convenient to freeway; really didn't hear any freeway noise. Price point is better than other area properties and parking is free (I actually had reservations at a different property in Camarillo which I cancelled after learning they charged a daily parking fee. In Camarillo!) Service is friendly and efficient. Beds are reasonably comfortable; I'm used to a memory foam mattress so it's always hard to sleep in hotel beds. They do provide pillows with different levels of filling so that's nice. Overall a nice property, reasonably priced and conveniently located.

Expected a hotel, got an average motel. You pay $10 a night to park in front of your room, hear the Freeway and people are walking in front of your window lol. The furniture was worn, beds comfortable. Breakfast is terrible, no decaf, hot chocolate, meat option, waffles, peanut butter or even a banana, just lukewarm scrambled eggs and 'orange juice' which has never sern a real orange before. We liked the pool and the garden, but no Netflix or HBO. The good reviews are probably for the event space, we won't stay again because there are much better options for the price.

Nice area with restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance. The breakfast this hotel offers is truly subpar. No pancakes, no meat such as bacon or sausages. No waffles. It’s really a continental breakfast and it’s also the reason we would never stay at this hotel again.

Love this place! The grounds beautiful, rooms are spacious and updated and it has a really nice pool area. The restaurant is amazing. I recommend trying their brunch. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! Will definitely be back!

Everything about the PGH is fine, except for the breakfasts. It's great that they serve a breakfast--I love that--but it really is mediocre. The breads are uninteresting, the eggs are ok, but there is no bacon or sausage to go with it. The tea selection is terrible. Other than that, everything is good. They could put a little more care into the breakfast selection.

EVERYTHING was excellent at Palm Garden hotel. The staff were courteous/helpful! The restaurant on property had excellent food, prices were reasonable and one could enjoy a wonderful happy hour every late afternoon! Bed in room was heavenly and I got great sleep and the room’s appointments were clean and spacious! I definitely will be going back to this hotel!

I stay at this hotel quite often (work, business, etc.) and enjoy the atmosphere. Nice looking hotel with friendly staff. Had some issues in the past with the restaurant (AM brunch) staff being a bit rude, but that seems to have improved in my last experience. They were very friendly and nice.

Perfect ten for dog friendly accommodation. The entire property has stadium style lights that make it easy to see your surroundings when taking the dog out at night or in the early morning. The pet relief area is clean, Odorless, and well maintained with bagging stations nearby. The rooms are a step above standard with amenities you’d expect at the next higher level. Room service and restaurant nails boutique in the SoCal region. I would stay here again because it’s close enough to the action and options for entertainment along the coast.
