The hotel is currently being remodeled. Lots of construction around. My room has the bathroom remodeled. Looks nice, however it's not quite complete. The showers had inverted controls. So the cold was actually hot water and the hot water lever put a cold water. New shower head, but connector wasn't up to the wall. Small things like that. The room itself was nice, no roaches, and clean. For the price, I don't think I could have asked her more. Good value for what you get.

This hotel is advertised as pet friendly with a $20 pet fee. Nowhere was it stated on the website that animals not welcomed in jacuzzi rooms. Myself and my boyfriend arrived with our dog Baby and was at that time told dogs not allowed in jacuzzi rooms. IT SHOULD BE WRITTEN SOMEWHERE IN ON THE SITE. We had to at last minute find a overnight caretaker for our dog at a additional expense. This cost us a extra expense, time, travel. Not happt.

This motel is older but the owners have made big efforts to modernize and improve. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was firm, freshly made and more than adequate. The pillows were not very good - fortunately we bring our own. The shower was excellent - modern, good adjustable pressure, lots of hot water. The vanity was new, though the faucet needed some tightening and a little grease on the o-rings. Internet was adequate and the gentlemen at the desk gave a little advice on hooking up. The TV did not work, but since we don't watch TV, we weren't concerned. The A/C worked fine, though a little bit noisy. This place was a very good value, convenient to the major highways, and well managed.

Knights Inn advertises as Pet Friendly which is why I booked. So I booked and paid for a King bed and was very disappointed at check-in when I was told I could not have a king bed because I had a pet. I couldn’t get a queen bed, they could only offer double beds. The bedding in this room was dirty and the bedspread should have been thrown out. Filthy and torn. Would not recommend this Inn.

This is my second time here. It’s great value and convenient for me in my travels between North Carolina and upstate New York. The place is clean, friendly and convenient. They’re going through some renovations right now, but nothing that negatively affects the stay. No-frills but there is plenty of everything that is needed. Plenty of towels, soap… Well kept and organized. Very clean!

Room was dirty, outdated. Jacuzzi was not clean and chipping away, mold around the sides and tiles coming off. We ended up leaving at 10pm because it was so uncomfortable there.

I'll be honest ... the outside looks a little run-down. I was skeptical. But the desk clerk was very friendly and efficient. She recommended a good place to eat. The room was clean and quiet and we got a good night's sleep. What more could you ask for? Definitely recommend.

This should not be offered on your site! It was the next thing to a hooker/crack hotel!! Stunk like smoke in a non- smoking room, girl at the front was completely rude, mattresses were disgustingly dirty, bedsheets had stains, bedspreads had holes and covered in someone else’s hair, pillows were from 15 years ago along with blankets, I slept with my clothes on!! Didn’t shower because the tub was disgusting. There was a pool of water on the floor under the fridge. Outside doors to the motel were all beat up. The chairs in the room were all stained and looked like they came from the dump. Honestly I want a refund! I can’t believe they charge $79 US for this dump!

Room had a funky odor, fairly clean, smelled like marijuana when we walked in, carpet old and dingy, didn’t walk on barefoot, bed was huge, pretty comfy, looks like puke or something spilled all down the side of the bed, linens weren’t changed and room didn’t get cleaned while we were out, no spare towels, jetted tub was pretty ok, but very loud, all in all it was a place to stay.

For a budget hotel, the place was clean and quiet. Getting off 81 northbound it was difficult to get to,as tough had to go past and turn around at the shopping plaza to get to the other side of the road. The beds were uncomfortable as he'll. Like a board! Just because of that, I probably wouldn't stay again.

Liked all one level property and being able to park right in front of our door. right off highway, can hear big trucks. ceiling fan in bathroom terribly loud. no travel products provided other than soap. towels were the cheapest and thinnest I've even seen. if you're looking for a cheap bed and a shower only, it's good enough.

My room had a jetted tub. I didnt even get to use the jets much. They blew hair out of them, like dog hair. Also they had a kid that was maybe 14 running the desk demanding a deposit in cash for a room i already paid for when a deposot wasnt even advertised. They refused to refund my room after they told my husband on the phone they would. I do not recommend this place at all.

I reserved the King size smoking room at 3am as I was on the road. I did not arrive until 8am due to traffic. I wanted a shower and a couple of hours sleep before getting back on the road. They did not have my room I paid for. NO KING SIZE OR SMOKING. She refused to return my money. The first room they gave me the key did not work and the handle was real loose. She gave me a key to a different room. It also did not work. The key worked for the 3rd non smoking room and when I opened the door it smelled bad, worse than if it was a smoking room. The cover had 8-10 cigarette burns and I saw what looked like bed bugs at the top of the mattress. I took my shower and left. Then they would only give me a receipt for the amount they received and not the amount I paid through their website.

Check in was inconvenient. I had to squeeze down and speak through a little slot at the bottom of a glass panel; I could not hear the staff person well and they could not hear me well either. I asked for receipt and I got something that was hardly legible. I brought my tv remote back to the front desk and first they told me they couldn't replace the dead batteries because the maintenance/repair team was not in until the next day, for my one night stay. The room itself was okay. Clean and bright, and the daytime staff the next morning seemed fine, but they should improve the night time situation. Oh and their continental breakfast was only coffee, nothing else.

The property, building and housekeeping was perfect in this price range. The highway location had poor walkability. Restaurant choices were acceptable if you want fast food. Expedia lost my reservation so I could not correct my reservation from smoking to non-smoking. I suggest you skip the middle man and reserve directly with the motel.
