Ramada by Wyndham Draper, Utah

I stay at this place really often over the last 8 moths. They improver m.they changed windows, equipment like coffee makers, refrigerators, painted rooms, more security cameras, but the price went up from about $55-60 to almost a $100.

They have a gym no one was able to use . washer and dryer was broke so all my clothes were ruined by washer. No blow dryer in room Fridge was broke food spoiled

I visit this hotel really often since March this year. Over the last few months : new room painting, new windows, lots of new security cameras

Looks can be deceiving! The pictures of the room looked nice. The room had stained decor, the hotel smelled, and the breakfast was something we could have picked up from the local gas station (except the waffles). The juice was so watered down that it didn’t have taste. Upon arrival we learned we would be on the second floor with no elevator. It was late and we were tired so I just dealt with it, but my horrible knee rebelled and I spent the night in pain as well as the next day. Should make note of the no elevator on your add… I would not have booked here if I had known!

Very nice property and easy to park. The rooms were clean when we arrived. I was surprised however when our room wasn’t cleaned or garbages emptied after spending the day away. I also had to get clean towels from the front desk. They were very accommodating however. Our GPS kept giving us conflicting information, so other than that, our stay was good. I would highly recommend it to others.

The condition of the property is not very good, the washer and dryer don't work, the gym is basically one piece of equipment, that is old.

Property and room was run-down, my room's trash was already full upon entering with a previous person's things, mold in shower, stains on sheets, lamps didn't work, everything was scratched and dirty. Also be aware that there is no elevator here so you have to carry everything up and down two flights of stairs. Also right beside the freeway so it's very noisy.

Broken fridge , ruined food in fridge , no blow dryer in room , Broken washer and dryer ruined clothes . Gym they won’t let u use Female staff very impolite.

Filthy hotel, noisy dogs. All around trashy place

Rooms were filthy. There was stuff on the carpet, walls, and ceiling. Would not ever stay here again.

the rug was absolutely filthy. I made the mistake of walking around barefoot in the room and was shocked to see that the bottoms of my feet were black after about 30 mins. That tells me the rug has not been cleaned in a very long time.

So definitely a good option for a budget. Front desk was awesome. The room itself was fine overall, but there was some concern about bathroom cleanliness/staining. That is it for the room. The hallways though were a little rough. There was a smell i couldnt quite place but it wasn't pleasant. There was a space between the door and floor so any noise echoes into the room. Did sleep though, and the AC works great.

Room was not cleaned before rented out. Dried pee all over the floor and toilet. Towels were dirty dried make up marks. Customer service argued making excuses were short staffed, tried to offer me a room when they didn’t have another vacancy.. Absolutely the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced..

All of our towels were stained and they didn’t have enough to give us the 2 more we needed for a party of four and expected hand towels to be sufficient. This pretty much sums up the experience.

There was drops of blood and make up on one of the pillows. It clearly hadn't been washed. It made you wonder if the rest of the sheets had been cleaned or they just made the bed. I would rate the hotel lower, but when I asked for a replacement pillow and showed the worker at the front desk the blood and make-up on the pillow, she was really nice about it, apologized, seemed embarrassed, and quickly got me a new one.

Too dirty

U get what you pay for but this is ridiculous, this place has gone from mediocre to disgusting. The hall had 2 separate piles of garbage/laundry that stayed for 2 days. The breakfast…. White bread, English muffin or bagel. Cheerios or fruit loops, waffle … no sugar free, actually no SF anything so I guess they don’t want people with dietary issues. Room (walls, doors, switches was filthy. Conditioner was empty. Key would work intermittently, even after replacing twice.

We are about the least demanding travel, as you can imagine. We typically spend so little time in our room, it is a little more than a staging area. As such the fact that this facility is older, in need of some refresh, particularly the carpets, would’ve been something we could’ve cared less about. it was close to where we needed to be and it was an expensive and the staff at the front desk was very nice. However, even with our low expectations, we found it disappointing. The television on a room was not programmed so I had to spend half an hour, figuring out how to get it, so not only remote would work, but the television itself would work. By the time we discovered that it was late we were addressed that I was gonna call down to the desk to have somebody come up and try to figure it out. It was frustrating to come back for the second night of our two night stay and find that our keys had only been programmed for a single night which required me to walk from the far end of the building back to the front desk to have them re-keyed when I was absolutely exhausted from my days activities. Then when we took our shower in the morning, we discovered that the housekeeper has not been refilling the shampoo and conditioner and so we had neither. Like I said we don’t ask for much, but would you expect reasonable care to be taken on the small things we do expect.

The facility is old and dated but the room was clean and spacious. The front desk workers were polite and attentive. The breakfast was minimal; coffee, bagels, and bananas. The bed was very firm.

This was a last minute stay for one night, so upon getting checked into our rooms we couldn’t help but fight the smell of old dirty carpet, outdated furniture. Not to mention that the dresser had deep scratches all over it. So bad that it looked like it was salvaged. The molding in the bathroom had been old paint falling off it and the globs of bad caulking along the tub made it feel like I paid too much for this place. The window screen wasn’t fitting right as if someone had been coming and going out the window even it being in the second floor not to mention the parking lot had a sign “Park at your own risk”. Which wasn’t comforting. This place really don’t care about cleanliness or comfort. You could pay $30 more for a nicer place than THIS Ramada.

The room was nice and we were satisfied with our stay. Bed comfort is an individual thing, but we found the bed and pillows not so comfortable.

Outdated and right next to a busy highway. Beds were ok.

Overall decent. Fitness area was under construction and unavailable. Walls seemed thin, could hear neighbor's TV. Much road noise from freeway. Good continental breakfast.

TV did not work. I had to unplug everything to reset it. Remote power button never worked, too late to have someone repair. The bed "creaked" when there was any movement. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was great.

Booked through expedia. Got to hotel at 1am and no room available. Staff didn't seem to care what so ever!

Great staff

My stay was wonderful the staff really helped me out I needed to add an extra day for my stay and was able to do so with them. I then ran into car problems the day before driving back to Vegas and I ended up extending my stay another 2 nights which the staff openly helped me with that. I check out tomorrow morning. I recommend Ramada in Draper Utah if you’re ever traveling solo or staying for a couple days. Oh the breakfast was good I was always hogging the waffle maker to make me waffles lol. Location is right off the freeway so easy access when needed to drive on the freeway towards north or south. I am planning to come back in October and December nd I will be surely staying here again. I was told I’d be getting my deposit back in 3-4 days. I called the hotel to ask about it because I still haven’t received it and front desk agent was incredibly rude… told me something completely different. I’ve been a GM for hotels and I would fire if I caught a front desk agent talking to someone the way I was spoken to.

This property had a good price for a property that had a 7/10 rating according to Expedia, it had free breakfast and it was to the funeral we had to attend the next day, so we chose it. We paid Expedia in advance and chose NOT to buy the cancellation insurance because we were leaving to go up there the very next morning. The day we arrived and discovered that our reservation was for the next Saturday. I don't know how that happened, it could have been my error, it could have been there's, but it just needed to be corrected because there was plenty of space at the hotel for that day. Instead of getting it resolved with Expedia, the hotel insisted I pay for a new appointment, then get it resolved with Expedia, but it turns out Expedia must get permission from the hotel to refund my money and the hotel refused to do so. So I ended up paying twice for a stay at hotel that also really sucked..... The carpets are stained, I don't think they ever wash the bed covers (they smell), the bathrooms are dingy, the breakfast was dried out and horrible (basically dried out muffins and doughnuts, a waffle machine, yogurt and cereal). No fruit, no eggs, no sausage or bacon. Oh and if you plan on doing any work there, you had better have a hotspot because the internet goes out a lot.

Staff are really helpful. Especially Mike. He is very passionate and patient with guests here. Room is clean. Had a good night here!

Made the reservation for three rooms a week in advance. The day we were traveling I received two different phone calls asking if we were still planning on showing up, which I thought was odd. Once we got to the hotel, the only redeeming quality was the gentleman at the front desk. He was friendly and helpful. He switched things around to make sure all our rooms were together. Once in our rooms, my husband decided to take a shower only to realize the shower head was leaking, spraying the entire bathroom and then none of the TVs worked. That night after everyone was sleeping at 11:30 pm, an employee knocked on my son’s room, woke him up to ask if everything was okay. He was confused and said yes. Not long after that I was woken up by a loud knock on my room door, I came to the door to find a police officer. He stated that an employee had called 911 saying she heard crying coming from our rooms. He wanted to search our rooms. We were all confused as well as my two sons being extremely scared. Once the officer realized that nothing was going on and we’d all been sleeping, he left. We finally got to sleep and then at 4 am our room phone started to ring. When we answered no one was there. When everyone was up later that morning, my son stated that his phone had rang at 4 am as well. The second night we were there, we had gone to dinner and when we got back none of our room keys worked. We had to go to the front desk to get new keys. The rooms were extremely run down and old.

Front desk was very understanding of my exhausted state. Thanks for being so patient. Sorry I was so grumpy lol. Room was nice and clean.

The hotel manager is friendly and made sure my stay was comfortable and easy

Close to the freeway so a lot of traffic noise. Breakfast was good and rooms were clean and nice.

It was close to Riverton Hospital, which is where where I was was having surgery the next morning @5:45am…

Nice place to stay. Lots of dinning and shopping in the area.

I love staying here! My family is in bluffdale so for holidays we stay here everytime and it's awesome because we can jump on the freeway and be at their house in 15 minutes or if we want tk go to downtown Salt Lake City its 25 minites away! i love how its secluded on minute man drive sk we ha e more oeivacy feom the bisy road 400 yards away. the staff is always so kind and awesome and very kind as our kids are loud and chaotic. breakfast is great and it nevef is crowded so its like we have the place tonourselves!

The hotel is next to the freeway so it can be noisy for thoses who are not used to loud freeway at night when trying to sleep, otherwise it was as expected.

It was a bit old but nice. Very disappointed in the "Breakfast" To me it was not a breakfast! No proteins were served only cereal, French toast and yogurt.

No hot breakfast. Not even any fruits. Juice machine was left in off position. No sugar packets for coffee. It seems like staff don’t follow check list to do to satisfy customers. No swimming pool. Staff don’t tell you that. You just have to find out yourself and you realized other places are a lot better than this.

Rancid and spoiled food served as so called breakfast - old bread slices and rancid drinks. The staff was very rude and could not help. There are many things bad/inoperable at the hotel. I'm not booking this hotel ever again

The property was what we would expect for this level of hotel. The breakfast was sub-par. The bananas were all overripe and the waffles ran out.

The offered breakfast was limited, yogurt, toast or bagel, at 7:30 the waffle iron had not been turned on, apples and bananas.
