It’s nasty!!! I have pictures…. Not even an ice machine… homeless people on side of building.

A very small and dated hotel located on the cusp of downtown. Rooms were also small and had roach traps. Not only do you have to pay for your room, but also each guest. Parking lot was a tight squeeze. Definitely not worth the amount I paid.

The outside of the property is mostly shabby. My room had new flooring and the bathroom had been redone, and a new or newer A/C unit. There was no hair dryer, not unusual for a budget-friendly hotel, but also no mirror, anywhere! Who thinks that's a good way to save $40 or $50 per room? The mattress has seen better days and the TV was very small. And the area is a bit seedy.

I wasn't expecting a high-quality experience, but at least the basics! No TP in the bathroom. No mirror at all in the room. The parking lot was very cramped. The area has quite a few homeless folks too, which isn’t necessarily bad, but just something to be prepared for. I got stopped a couple of times asking if a shelter was open or if I had food. They were nice, but unexpected.

I honestly used the place just to shower and sleep. For that, it was ok. King room non smoking. It has the basic amenities like mini fridge and microwave ovens in some. I did not use either of them, so I don't know about their condition (clean, operable, etc.). They provided soap and conditioning shampoo.

There was no smoke alarm the AC unit would only go to the low setting bathroom door was hard to shut send there was vending machines n there wasn't any

The check-in on was weird. The area is dangerous. The room stinks. There isn't even a ice machine and the refrigerator will not keep things cold. For almost $100 I would expect lots better Also picture is nothing like the tealylookd of this shot hole.

It was horrible. there were cockroaches running all around the floor & on the “clean” towels which were also stained. there was trash, dirt & hair in the shower when we got into our room. they never cleaned our room or took our trash out, we were there for 2 days. the peephole was basically just a hole in the door & people could see into the room if they tried to look. the floors were so dirty that the bottom of our feet were black after getting out of the shower. the doors also had a space where light could shine in & made us feel unsafe like someone could break in easily.

Do not stay here. I killed 5 bugs in the room. Floor was filthy. Bedding and towels old and stained. If there was a 0/5 rating, they'd get a zero.

There were holes in the walls, burn marks on furniture , roaches in the room including inside fridge, left over body piercings parts in bathroom, dirty sheets.

We arrived at the property and instantly, we had a really bad feeling. When we went to the "check-in" area, a gentleman walked around the corner and looked at us like we were lost. Checked us in and we walked to the room. As soon as we stepped foot in the room, I started to feel nauseous and ill. The room was utterly filthy and unattended. There was dirt in the sheets, on the blanket, the pillows were yellow, the blankets had burn holes and blood stains, the curtains didnt even close all the way and people could see right in when walking by, the curtains were black with dirt and grum, the bathroom hadnt even been cleaned, the shower had white gunk all over, there was trash and dirt, and the room itaelf was extremely humid and the ac wasnt working properly. As we unpacked our suitcases from the car, there was a group of about 3 males watching our every move. We instantly felt unsafe. This property was so awful that we bit the bullet and didnt even stay. We ended up paying an additional $350 to stay somewhere else. I highly do not recommend this property and highly recommend taking it off of the options to stay from anyone looking in that area.

The pictures on website are lies. This hotel is a filthy, dirty motel. This appears to be a true to life 'roach motel' and I ended up having to book elsewhere as there was no way I would sleep or shower here!

I'm extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was appalling, with visible dirt and mold in the shower head, air conditioning unit, and bathroom. I strongly advise against staying here unless drastic improvements are made.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and disturbing. From the moment I entered the room, it was clear that cleanliness and hygiene were not a priority. I encountered cockroaches crawling on the floor and furniture, and to make matters worse, I found worms in the shower. This level of neglect is completely unacceptable for any establishment hosting guests. The bathroom was filthy, with grime in the corners and a foul odor that made it difficult to use. The bedding looked unwashed, and the overall condition of the room was rundown and poorly maintained. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe staying there, and I was genuinely concerned about health risks due to the unsanitary environment. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel until significant improvements are made in cleanliness, pest control, and general maintenance. This was by far one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve ever had.

Avoid this at all costs. Disgusting! Mold all over the shower curtain. Sheets were dirty. When I told them they handed me new sheets. Here you go he said. I left within an half hour. So gross

NO MIRROR in the bathroom!! Or anywhere else. Lack of electrical outlets. Electrical wiring from TV hanging on wall..... Too expensive but location is good....

Office door stays locked (questionable neighborhood). No sink water pressure (very bad!) and no mirror in bathroom. I photographed rotting wood (14" x 3") trim in bathroom, and there\'s start of mold in bathroom. Noise from contractors loud outside. What would have been five days, I stayed only one... and I am now at a MUCH better place for only $40/night for the next four nights about five minutes away. I considered two other motels across the street from the Bay Breeze (the "Blue Boy" and "Kentucky Colonel"). Both had reviews warning of bedbugs. I searched my room in Bay Breeze for bedbugs and found none. I slept there, and only complaint about the mattress was that it creaked (old springs) and was lumpy, so I was uncomfortable. Also. Room lacked A/C outlets. BTW, I stayed in late February 2023 and had the room shown in the photo-- room # 14. Nice size, but when they had the room redone, the contractor was not a good one and missed the boat. This place should not be on Hotels.com

Did not like the lack of hot water. Did not like the lumpy mattress with the huge divots.

This place was clean, Unit #14 - that's about the only positive thing. My husband and I woke up at 12:30am to a male and a female talking near our door, the man with a deep resonant voice. This went on until 1:30am. During most of that time, 2 dogs barked in back of our unit. The room's smoke detector was missing (safety issue!) and no bathroom mirror. When I tried to take a shower, the water ran for about 20 minutes before the water turned at least lukewarm. Because we felt unsafe, we checked out after one night. We need to be reimbursed for the 2nd night.

No hot water. The AC was off in the room upon initial entry and had to set in heat until it somewhat got cooler. It never really cooled down. Bathroom light fixtures hanging from wires. It is a 1950's motel kinda updated. Next door tv could be heard as if you were watching it this was on all night so sleep didn't much happen. Just not worth what was paid for it!

Oh where to begin? Bedding had holes in the comforter, TV didn't work, reserved a queen and got two doubles.oh and exposed wires on the wall where the smoke detector was, and no GFI outlet near the sink. Despite calling ahead and clearing had to argue over my service dog... Neighborhood wasn't the best, but I expected that being down town.

I don't know where to start. The doors do not close all the way, can see parking lot. There is tape on the door jamb. Wires hanging from the fire alarm where the alarm was supposed to be. The bathroom has been renovated but there is no mirror in there. That's odd. Nice tv but no remote. Did not feel very secure at all.

I did not get any notice that I couldn't check in after a certain time. When I got there no one was at the office and it was closed. I did not stay the night and would like a full refund.

The gentleman at the front desk was very rude. I never even checked in. He was just that rude. I would never prefer anyone to that property ever!!!! He has the nastiest attitude ever. An i don't want to edit my review. It's in the heart of 14th street. So i guess he feels like all American people are bad. He doesn't give people chances. He judge you before he knows you. An that is very bad....

After getting there and ask to see the room I didn't stay. I would say this is a motel not a hotel tje pictures were nice but when you go the place and look at it would have to say it it is false advertise.emt and the owner was very rude so I left the place he didn't want to give the refund so decide it to leave and book amother room

The owner wanted a fifty dollar “key deposit” in addition to the advertised Expedia negotiated price. Not happy, never heard of such a thing! My second stay here in a month, still no mirrors in the room. Had to shave blind, not cool

Was turned away because I arrived late. Told i would get a refund. Spent 84.00 to get there. Then had to spend another 84.00 to get back to the airport. 196.00 for a 2 night stay. 168.00 in travel They took my money, and got paid for the room by someone else. Thieves

In this hotel I had a very bad time, there were cockroaches everywhere and in the refrigerator I found cockroaches. The man forced me to give him 50 dollars as a deposit and he still didn't return it to me.

The gentleman at front desk was rude. Charged more than reserervation was for and then tacked on a deposit. Made me go to ATM and pay the additional in cash. Would not let me use debit card. Room outdated and dirty. Sheets dirty, comforter had burn holes all in it.It. The hotel is a dump in horrible neighborhood. Do not. Stay hereood.

My room was clean didn’t have any problems with it being dirty or gross. The guy behind the counter was very helpful. It was better than expected after reading the reviews I was a little worried. But it turned out to be good. All I needed was a place to sleep. They sell drinks and snacks in the office, which made it very convenient because I do know that the neighborhood Is not a good area. But I did not have any problems at all. I thought it was going to be very noisy and people everywhere, but it was not. They do not allow people to be wandering around the property all in all I give it a thumbs up.

TV did not work then I go to take a shower and there is no hot water then I also never got my security deposit back and I've contacted them numerous times.

Owner was rude right off the bat. I checked in at 10:30 ( the latest they'd allow) and he left shortly after. I left my belongings and headed to work and when I returned to shower and go to bed, I noticed the towel had visible fresh and old stains. I turned the comforter over to check the bed and one of the beds had stains on the sheets and the other had stains on the comforter. There were also a group of homeless people sitting outside of my window laughing and talking. I didn’t feel safe at all and since the office was closed, I couldn't address any of my concerns. I left at 4am the same night and had to drive an hour to get home. I called the office 3 times before 10 and never got an answer back. I had to purchase another hotel in the area for that night and when I went to return the keys and discuss the refund, the owner closed the door on me and walked away. This man should be put out of business... no one should be staying in those conditions. This establishment is not in good shape or maintained.

No sign for motel. Had to rely on GPS and ring a bell at the office to ask and get key. Thought it was a hotel, but was motel. Air conditioner/heater was in wall unit - noisy. When leaving couldn’t find my 2 bags of organic nuts. I had placed them in front of Tv and didn’t move them after for any reason - room deposit was returned - no problem

I pulled in the parking lot and immediately knew we were not staying here. It looked like something out of a horror movie from the 70's. I wouldn't ask my worst enemy to stay here even if it was free. Very run down property. Run down area.

I warn you - do not stay here. It is not clean, it is not safe, it is the worst place I have ever witnessed in my life.

The good: - bathroom has been renovated. - sheets were ok - bed was ok - air conditioner took a long time and was loud but worked ok - newer tiled floor throughout. - comfy office chair - roomy The not so good: - dirty curtains, don’t even close unless you poke a nail through the fabric. - sketchy neighborhood - baseboards, trims etc need replacing as they’re filthy and banged/chewed up? And some are missing - dated bedspread wasn’t clean - fridge was rusted out at the bottom of the door - couch springs broken - thin walls/doors - lamp switch missing - broken door on dresser - smelled like pee by the beds? - toilet base full of dried pee and hair - grease stained shower curtain We should have left but it was late and we had a very early flight. Didn’t sleep all night as there was sirens and street /back alley noise. We often stay in budget hotels and quite enjoy them and supporting smaller local businesses. We aren’t fussy and just want a clean room, and a comfortable bed. This is the worst place we’ve ever stayed in. Our cost Canadian was $227 with tax. Complete rip off. You’d have a better sleep in your car. I see they have some better business bureau complaints they haven’t responded to. How do they stay in business? The neighbours were out early in the morning and they said they didn’t sleep at all and had a horrible experience.

Creepy and bad people hanging around

This place is a drug dealer, drug users and prostitution motel. The sheriff’s were looking at the place from across the street. The person attending was acting like he didn’t know what was going on. Also I wasn’t the only one who got trick from Expedia pictures. The only answer was you’ll get you will get your deposit back and I m just hopping to get everything back. Horrible experience.
