Our room was tiny and the carpet was filthy. Amenities were very limited and staff were few and very inexperienced. We were overcharged at check out and had to point out the error. Then they still charged us the wrong amount. One of the worse, if not the worse hotel we have ever stayed at, and we paid over $400 a night, no meal. We stayed at a 4 star hotel near Ginza and it was a little over $300 and included breakfast. We feel totally ripped off. Not what the ratings reflect at all.

If you don’t know Japanese, I don’t recommend you to stay at this hotel. Staff speak no English. The dinner coupon given to us to have dinner at the restaurant next door was in Japaneses only and staff at the restaurant didn’t seem to know (we seemed don’t know too) what to do. We didn’t get to eat our dinner until 9 pm. The location is far from the train station and sightseeing spots. It is not easy to get a taxi either if you don’t have an app for local taxi. We had to walk. The facility a kind of old and the carpet was very dirty.

すごく部屋が綺麗で清潔、温泉は小さめですが時間を予約してプライベートで利用できたのが良かったです。朝食が野菜といちごが沢山で美味しかったです。また滞在したいです。

お部屋のグレードをあげて貰えました！部屋にサウナが付いていたのは、とても嬉しい点ですね。お部屋もとても広くて2人では広過ぎるくらいでした！帰りにスタッフさんが写真を撮ってくれたのも、親切なスタッフさんがいるなと思います評価も上げさせて貰いました。

\u3000スタッフは皆さん感じよく、快適に過ごすことが出来ました。お料理もとても美味しかったです。連泊で清掃なしだとショップやワイン酒場で使える2000円分のクーポンをもらえるということでこれを選びました。2泊程度ならば清掃なしでも全く問題ないので良い試みだと思いました。 \u3000予約は本館17㎡ツインでしたが、別館20㎡和洋室にアップグレードしてもらえました。非喫煙者なので室内喫煙可のツイン（予約時他に選択肢がなかった）よりは室内禁煙の和洋室の方がありがたかったのですが、室内に椅子がないのはちょっと疲れますね。また、ローベッドという感じなのでご年配の方だと起き上がるのがちょっと大変かも、と思いました。アメニティなどは十分でしたが、室内にチェストなどの収納が一切ないのでそこは不便。セーフティーボックスもありません。とことんコンパクトにしたのだと思うのですが、部屋のドアが内開きで靴を履けるスペースを斜めに取っているため、土足にならないよう気を付けて出入りするのは結構大変です。荷物を持っているときは特に。ただ、室内は古さがなく清潔感があり、いくつかの不便（椅子がない、収納がない等）を許容できるなら十分快適に過ごせます。 \u3000冷蔵庫にミネラルウォーターのサービス、湯沸かしポットとティーバッグがありました。また、フロントにコーヒーと紅茶のサーバーがあり（紅茶はティーバッグ）紙カップで自由に戴くことができ、部屋にも持ち帰れます。 \u3000大人が二人で足を伸ばせる貸し切り露天風呂が複数あり、夜は予約しておくと45分間使うことができます。座って入るなら女性で3人くらい、お子さん連れのご家族ならギリギリ4人で一緒に入れるかな、くらいのサイズ。これはとても気持ちが良かったです。脱衣室には時計があるのですが、浴室の方にも時計があればあとどれくらい入っていても大丈夫かがわかって便利だろうと思いました。夜間と翌日昼まで（時間は記載がありましたが失念しました）は予約しなくても、空きがあれば自由に使えるそうです。 \u3000朝食はメインを選択するタイプのハーフバッフェ。連泊の場合、2日目は選べるメインが1品増えたり、温野菜の味噌バーニャカウダがついたりと飽きない工夫がありました。 \u3000夕食はレストランのコースとワイン酒場を1日ずつ利用しました。どちらも美味しかったですが、気軽に楽しめるワイン酒場は特に気に入りました。6時までハッピーアワーで指定されたビールとグラスシャンパンが￥500になったのも良かったです。 \u3000チェックアウト、ルームキーについているキーホルダーを機械に乗せると自動で清算してくれ、ディスプレイで確認すると現金またはカードで支払い、と非接触で完了します。フロント前に体温チェックや消毒薬を置いて間隔を取れるようにするなど、色々な気配りと工夫が感じられました。 \u3000総じて快適な2泊3日でした。また機会があれば是非利用したいです。

壁が薄すぎて隣の部屋の声が丸聞こえ。酔っ払って夜中まで話している声がうるさく、わざわざ早起きする必要があるために宿泊したのに、うるさくて眠れなかった。うるさくても平気な方には良いホテルだと思いますが、私は次はない。

Hotel is great overall. Give you a nice European feel. I love the small shop and the reception a lot. Room is a little small but you have all you need. The restaurant and bar were great. Breakfast was awesome! The only thing was the dinner arrangement (I booked half board). It worked like a cash coupon but no one could explain to us clearly. Could have translated it into proper English instead of explaining it verbally. Our overall experience were just great. Services were excellent too.

Hotel is great overall. Give you a nice European feel. I love the small shop and the reception a lot. Room is a little small but you have all you need. The restaurant and bar were great. Breakfast was awesome! The only thing was the dinner arrangement (I booked half board). It worked like a cash coupon but no one could explain to us clearly. Could have translated it into proper English instead of explaining it verbally. Our overall experience were just great. Services were excellent too.

Stay charge on first night was supposed half board . Unlike previous stays , we were told to have dinner at wine bar with a discount coupon of yen 5,000 each instead of the restaurant. Staff agreed to charge each of us (4 altogether) an additional Yen 3,000 to change to restaurant dining . It turned out that the final bill charged us an additional yen 4,000 each plus the original price of the set dinner at Yen 7,800!!! Each of us ( 4 guests) were overcharged by Yen 8,800 as compared to what the staff agreed with us !!!!!!!!!! We were overcharged by at least yen 35,200!!! Excluding tax

If you don’t know Japanese, I don’t recommend you to stay at this hotel. Staff speak no English. The dinner coupon given to us to have dinner at the restaurant next door was in Japaneses only and staff at the restaurant didn’t seem to know (we seemed don’t know too) what to do. We didn’t get to eat our dinner until 9 pm. The location is far from the train station and sightseeing spots. It is not easy to get a taxi either if you don’t have an app for local taxi. We had to walk. The facility a kind of old and the carpet was very dirty.

I would have to say I have mixed feelings about my stay. I'll start with the positives. The private baths that you can reserve were wonderful and easy to book. The staff were all very nice , especially the restaurant staff. The hotel is charming...but in places looking a bit dated. My room was very spacious and functional...however I did have one issue withe the small refrigerator in the room. Every 2 hour or so it would make a loud grinding sound which woke me up several times... I eventually needed to unplug it ... I even recorded the sound so I could relay my concerns to the front desk when I checked out.

A highlight was the delicious daily breakfast with some made-to-order options. Plenty of fresh vegetables from local gardens. I had the set menu for dinner one evening: Vegetable based menu, very clean and tasty. Beautiful garden-like setting. Private baths are available for free use. They are not sourced from a hot spring however, and have the faint scent of chlorine. I was able to rent an e-bike for 2500yen daily and ride around to see all the tourist sights. Would definitely stay here again!
