We like coming here. It a nice quiet place to stay and the owners are very friendly. Nice bed and good shower. The waffles are good for breakfast. Not a big selection. There were no carts when we got there in the evening but they were able to locate them the next morning.

Easy access to and from the highway. Didn’t notice any traffic noise from the highway. Check-in was easy and fast. Although the hotel wasn’t super busy, I never heard anyone else and that was nice. Ice machine was out of service, the 2 clocks in our room had significantly different times. Bathroom door stuck when shut all the way.

The property is dated. We had two rooms. Front desk staff was polite and friendly, not overly friendly or quiet. Rooms were clean for the most part. High up in shower and bathroom mirror high were dirty with a little mold. Floors counters and sheets seemed very clean so that made it okay for us. Morning breakfast was very limited. We actually walked across the street to eat McDonald’s breakfast after looking at the limited breakfast. TV did not work in one room and refrigerator was froze up. Other room cable didn’t work in tv and refrigerator was completely removed. Only ice machine in building did not work. Easy access from interstate decent amount of parking and choices to eat dinner very near by. Not unhappy with stay completely but would choose a different property next trip

Good hotel with decent price for a short 1 night sleepover. Met my own expectations and of course its no 5 star hotel but bed was very comfortable, easy access with several food options in the neighborhood and parking was good. It is however Outdated with not the freshest possible smell in the room.

I saw the ratings and figured it would be the best place to stay for the price. It was an old property. Pool was green. Room was clean but really needs updated. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but waffle iron timer didn't work and things didn't look very sanitary. Felt like this place was overpriced for the quality. It was convenient, however. Right off of I35.

The pool in the picture has a spa, but the spa is bricked over. It’s not listed but you should update your photo. Breakfast was minimal at best. Only poppy seed bagels left. Over a hour till close should have been replenished.

I was on the road and got late to get a few hours sleep. I flipped on the light on one side of the bed, jumped in shut the light off. I went to sleep. I woke up in the morning and went to get into the shower and found a dirty washcloth hanging from the shower curtain rod. The shower curtain was closed and it was tucked behind that so I thought no big deal. I took my shower and continued with my morning. I went to pack my stuff up to leave and the sheet had been pulled down on the other side of the bed. There was a giant blood stain on the sheets. Unfortunately, the picture I took was close up, but it was about a 6” area. Inexcusable. It wasn’t a stain, it was actual blood. I don’t believe the person cleaning the room had cut themselves because there would’ve been blood in other places. It was just a giant glob of blood.

Overall it the stay was okay. The entire place could use major improvements though. Our room had a weird odor to it. Vents to a/c unit were very dirty. The microwave in the room was dirty and smelled awful. Bedding had stains on it. Staff were decent though.

The room had a terrible odor. Was not clean. Carpets needed clean. Supposed to have a free breakfast in the morning, this did not happen. My husband asked about it and the employee just ignored him. Do not recommend.

We’ve stayed at this location a few times when visiting family in town and have never had issues but this time, there was a cockroach in our room. We are not the type of client to cause a scene over one bug but I made it clear to the front desk this would’ve been a major issue with any other visitor. Breakfast and room conditions were perfectly fine otherwise.

The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. This all we were really looking for as we only stopped for a few hours sleep while on a road trip to San Antonio. The faucet in the bathroom sink came off in my hand the 1st time I touched it. The lighting in the bathroom was horrible. It was dim and blotchy looking light. There was no fan, so the walls dropped with water after the shower was used. The shower itself was great! The water pressure was so nice it massaged my neck after long hours on the road.

Check in was fine, the staff was very friendly, the room was average, the couch in the room looked really old and the coffee table could collapse at any moment. Some of the outlets in the room did not work and most of them were loose in the wall. The room was clean, the breakfast was subpar, there was no juice(out of order for how long) the only thing to drink was coffee or milk served in a picture. The only butter was a stick that you had to cut a piece off of.

We couldn't unlock the door, so we were told that we had to turn the lever very slowly for it to work. We got in and could not turn the TV on, seems you have to turn it on manually and off with the remote. The Tub never stopped dripping water, not just drops, but a narrow stream. In the morning my husband went looking for breakfast and there was none

The front desk could not find my booking even after I gave my itinerary and booking confirmation numbers. They proceeded suggest that I didn't know which hotel that I had booked, that maybe I was confused and came to wrong one, and that I had made up the booking... this is after I had showed my phone with the email from booking information. They did everything they could to try and make me leave even after I told them that the funds had already been taken out of my account so clearly I had a room here. Finally after 10 minutes of this back and forth, I asked to speak to a manager because I was exhausted after driving seven hours and I just need to lay down. The night manager literally found my booking in less than 20 seconds. Overall this was just a frustrating night. I will say the bed sheets were surprisingly soft, but the bathroom was definitely aged. The bottom of the tub was swollen and soft in some areas and the roof had water damage. So I guess do what you will with this information.

We had a late night check in, and it literally took 22 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Even though we were calling and ringing the bell, no one came. Then when someone finally did, you could tell he just rolled out of bed and had absolutely zero empathy or remorse for making us wait. So, this place is absolute garbage.

Morgan was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Due to delays with our event, we were unable to arrive by our scheduled check-in time. I contacted Morgan by phone, and she was very kind, understanding, and helpful in extending our check-in. Her professionalism and empathy made the process smooth and stress-free.

Property was average - it is older and in need of updating. For example, the current breakfast area appears to be squeezed into an area designed to be the lobby. It was clean enough, just expect a “no frills” approach. It does have easy access to I-35 with plentiful shopping and dining options nearby.

The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. It just needed to be vacuumed a bit better. However, the bed was clean and comfortable. We had a very quiet room and had 3 great nights of sleep! Hillsboro, TX is not a big city at all, but we decided to stay in between Waco and Dallas because of the graduations we were there for. So keep that in mind. There’s a Starbucks right next to the hotel, a McDonald’s down the street and a massive Buc-ee’s one exit away!
