The globe is an excellent Inn. Good bar and function room. Our bedroom was comfortable and spotless and breakfast was very good. The staff and service was excellent we would definitely stay there again.

The staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean but, very basic - but, what else do you need except comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The breakfast was definitely enjoyable and filling. From evening to morning staff excellent service. The parking is located in a councils parking next to the hotel but, it is paid for by the hotel up until 9.30am - just make them aware of your registration number when you arrive and they do the rest.

A character-full Victorian pub with several bedrooms. Very helpful staff, and a good bar/restaurant. Generous breakfast included. Single rooms available. Overnight parking in public car park next door is included.

Second time I have stopped here whilst ion business in Tamworth. The place is immaculately clean. Meals are in the bar /restaurant and are excellent value for money. 1st night I had raised steak and seasonal veg, great sized portions and really tasty. 2nd night I had curry with rice again excellent portions. Breakfast is superb, freshly cooked full English. Staff are all very friendly and service is excellent. I will definitely book again if in the area.

Lovely place to stay breakfast was lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a evening meal in the bar which was very nice and affordable . Great home made chicken and Stilton pie. Will stay again

We stayed for two nights at The Globe and it was brilliant. The whole place was absolutely spotless and the staff were great - nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast, cooked fresh to order so everything was piping hot. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Decent enough rooms above a pub. Not luxury but decent for the price. Unfortunately being in the room at the front meant that we did not get to sleep until the loud car exhausts outside stopped at 3pm. If you are a light sleeper, maybe ask not to be at the front!

Stayed in room 8 which is situated next to the kitchen extractor fans. Between 6pm and 9pm the smell off chip fat was pumped into the room then again at 7am for breakfast. It was also very laugh when turned on. My clothes still smell of cooking when I got home . I would ask for a different room if staying. Apart from that, everything was great for the price.

My colleague found his room noisy and smelly as the Kitchen extraction fan outlet fan was right outside his window. He asked to upgrade to another, double room (we had single rooms booked) but was told no he couldn't upgrade! Crazy!!

Staff in the pub were friendly and check in was smooth. The room was small but functional, though very cold as the radiator in the bedroom was not working. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was working. Breakfast was quick but not the best ingredients. I'd probably choose a different hotel next time

This is a lovely hotel/Pub room was great and comfortable, tea and coffee facilities was also available, the breakfast was a full english with toast, tea, coffee and juices i paid £10 which was worth it. The only reason why i only gave 4 stars and not 5 was because my room overlooked the main road and around 4 am there was a lot people making a lot of noise shouting, screaming etc coming from bars or nightclubs in the area i am not blaming The Globe Inn for this as it was out of there control, and I'm sure i am not the first to mention this. Apart from this i would recommend staying there, it is only a 10 min walk from Tamworth station.

I travelled here for work, I had a single room, which had the kitchen vent directly outside the window, so had noise and smells constantly. When I asked to upgrade to a different, larger room I was told NO! Why would a hotel not want someone to upgrade??

The Globe it kept spotless and in excellent condition. The bar felt clean as well! I stayed on a Saturday night. There was very loud music from neighbouring venues until 11:30pm and loud rowdiness in the early hours. I would happily stay again midweek, but not at the weekend.

Staff extremely welcoming, breakfast was lovely, room was clean, but, location was on a main road and it was very noisy all through the night with drunk people shouting, traffic, road cleaners constantly thought the night making it very difficult to sleep even with windows closed, far too noisy.
