Hi, Let's get straight to the point. I was grateful for the location as I had a party to attend. Upon arrival we walked up to see this was a pub and a lively one at that. This is a place you stay if you just need a room for the night like we did. This is not a place to do your holiday. Bar tender was also the check in host - very nice man - and did his best because the pub was busy. Walked in our room - carpet is old old old - beds lumpy and our TV was off the wall and laying on one of the bed's. We were also told no breakfast would be available but that places could be recommended. Also there was a small store in close walking distance to The Liberal House. This placed served its purpose and that's all I would recommend it for.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff OK. Breakfast was good. Free on-site parking available. The hotel is a pub and had an event planned from 6-9pm on the day of my arrival, which made parking less accessible and resulted in loud music during this period. The event ended at 9pm and the rest of the evening was quiet.

Lovely little pub, friendly staff and locals and a good vibe. The cups in the room for brews were dirty and the shower was weak but for less than a hundred quid it was fine. The chefs never turned up for work so the food was made by the landlady which was nice of her. If we're in Tamworth again, we'll definitely consider staying here again

Staff friendly, room was good, food was good value for money, beer was very well priced, convenient for bus into town, and a Tesco Express next door, would go again.
