The room I was first checked into the tv didn't work so I had to be moved to a different room, The pool was closed while I was there. Some of the drawers were dirty

Used & new band-aids on the floor. Two rolls of toilet paper with 12 squares each on dispenser & NO spare. Hand towel rack not attached to the wall. Two out of three ice machines broken on day one. Lobby bathroom (Men's) OUT OF ORDER our entire stay. This place could more appropriately be called Worst Western.

Average older hotel in area of Interstate Highway exit. Seen one, you have seen them all. The pool was not open and looked very green. A restaurant was across the parking lot that was pretty good - The Forum.

The staff was fantastic. The room was clean. Disappointed that the pool was down and apparently has been for sometime that was the reason we had specifically booked this hotel. The front doors were broken which from the looks of the other reviews its been broken for a bit also. It would be a great hotel if they could get the things fixed that they needed fixed.Wpuld definitely be willing to stay again next time hopefully they have that stuff fixed.

The place was just okay because: The elevator was not working and they didn't know when it would be fixed. We were on the 3rd floor, so that was very inconvenient. The food offered for breakfast was very sparse. Idk if they ran out or what, but every item should be set out & refilled as necessary.

The staff was great. However the pool was out of service. I booked it for my kids to swim in on our road trip, so I was disappointed.

No usb plugs other room had adapters. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Refrigerator didn't have freezer cold part was too cold Appreciated email regarding pool closure. Very friendly service and clean.

Staying with grandkids while their parents had baby. Booked here for the pool so they could swim. After checking in found out pool was closed! Also dryer was broke but could pay front desk $5 today a load of laundry! Very minimal breakfast most fruit was old.

Property is nice. Located in a convenient place, walking distance to cracker barrel and another restaurant. Breakfast area kept clean; minimal choices, but sufficient, although the bananas could have been fresher (Had those small nats flying around them). The room was nice, comfortable bed and pillows. Seemed clean, but looking closer I found the toilet inner rim was dirty. I found a tiny earring behind the sink faucet camouflaged with the countertop (also indicating to me the cleaning was not thorough). The room smelled clean, AC was working well. I would go again since the thouroghness of cleaning could just be 1 persons mistake, not necessarily the hotels.

The hotel was in an industrial area, it was loud with trucks running all night. The walk-in shower was dirty with scum all around the tub. Toilette was dirty too. All doors need a good cleaning. There was oil running down the room door from oiling the door closing mechanism. The room ac was new and quiet and the bed was fine. We would not stay there again.

Water didnt drain from the tub and there was a huge wad of long blonde hair on the shower wall. Room also smelled like smoke. The ice maker on our floor didnt work. The nice lady at the desk gave us another room. The refrigerator in that room didnt work, so she brought in a new refrigerator for us. The breakfast was good.

We were put in a “pet” room. I asked if anything else was available and was assured the room was rarely used for guests with pets. As soon as we walked in we found dog hair all over the beds which clearly hadn’t been changed. The shower was filthy, the closet had pet hair in it and in the door. No toilet paper in the room, light switch in the entry of the room was shorted out and crackling, and the TV didn’t work. I went to the front desk and the clerk gave me some sheets to apparently change the beds myself. We were out all day Saturday and asked to have the room THOROUGHLY cleaned. After 14 hours we returned to find NOTHING was cleaned, and instead our sheets had been tossed around and our belongings had been rifled through. I went to the front desk again and was snapped at by the clerk that she was “the only person working there.” She proceeded to tell me that she’s only one person and suggested I clean the room myself. The owner of this establishment is a piece of work as well and never replied to customers. Best Western has been notified and I’ll be pushing for them to lose their franchising. BW gives a money back guarantee and I’ll be seeking a full refund.

The facility was clean and modern in appearance. Staff were friendly My complaints would be for the bathroom.. Towels very thin. Bathtub drain very slow. By end of shower i was ankle deep in water. The white shower curtain was very soiled. Breakfast was marginal. Powdered eggs and brown n serve sausage links. Cereal. Waffles. No fresh fruit. No hard boiled eggs or oatmeal. The orange juice dispenser broken. On Sunday morning, ran out of coffee creamer and milk. We skipped it 3rd day and went out for breakfast.

Front desk staff super nice, room could've been cleaner, especially the toilet. Toilet seat had not been cleaned (splatter marks visible)

Cockroaches in the halls. Milk and chicken nuggets in the refrigerator when I arrived?? Room not clean on arrival. They set out food for breakfast and when it’s gone it’s gone. They should replenish so all guests can have the free breakfast but it’s just a gimmick to get people to stay there. Go as soon as breakfast is put out or you will miss out. This happened each day of my stay. And when you ask the staff to replenish the breakfast they say they are busy and never bother coming over to rectify the situation even when there are hours left of the breakfast hours. Unacceptable and should be higher standards overall for a best western

Room wasn't completely clean and even after cleaning it again there was still miscellaneous items in the drawers and a broken pen on the dresser. Also, I had trouble getting the door to work. It was finicky during my stay and I needed assistance during the morning of check out.to enter the room after breakfast to get out the last of my luggage. I felt strongly that I deserved a discount off of my two night stay which the facility wouldn't authorize through Hotels.com. I definitely will avoid Best Westerns in the future.

For the price, it was a decent night, Stay. But definitely in need of refurbishing and updating. Cracked tiles, worn out towels, old carpet were some of the things that needed updating. It was clean, but gave the feeling of needing help.

There was no WiFi during my stay which normally is not a problem, but I had things needing done that required it. The first room I went to wasn’t cleaned from the previous stay. The room wasn’t visited or checked on during my stay. I’m thankful the desk clerk was able to get me into a different room though

My room was quiet. The main entrance and elevator could use maintenance. Breakfast was not extravagant, but good.

Comfortable overnight stay

Last minute reservation made while traveling and check in was a breeze. Rooms are perfect. Clean, roomy with every thing we'd expecr. Comfy , firm mattress we both slept very well on. Great stY.

NO HOT WATER! That was frustrating! The mattress had seen better days! And the pillows were the tiniest, pathetic pillows I've ever experienced at a hotel! The upside, was the lobby was actually decorated from this century. And the customer service was great! But I'd rather have HOT water, and an amazing bed over those things, if I had to choose!

The only complaint if you want to call it one was the doors. They were so hard to open. Getting into the room door was not as bad because you pushed it open. But when leaving the room it was like there was someone holding it closed on the other side. Just too much effort and hard to get things out the door because it wanted to shut.

The motel was almost full but my room was quiet and comfy.

On my checkout day, housekeeping knocked on my room door at 11 am and asked if I was checking out and my check out time was at noon. They hung out near my room door like I was supposed to hurry up and get out!! I didn’t appreciate that at all!!

I booked my room ahead of time several day, I then called day of check in to see if I needed to go to the hotel to check in before my meeting. Was told no Ellis you have reservations. Then went to my meeting, showed up at the hotel and the couple in front of me at the desk were being told them at their room was no longer available. She booked weeks in advance, had two small children and all of her luggage, she was told to find a different hotel even though she had made reservations two weeks in advance, I was told the same thing. The other couple and us all took our luggage and hungry, tired crabby children back out to the car at 10 ocklock at night to find another hotel. To our surprise there were several other families in the parking lot frantically searching for a new place for their family to stay at 10pm. Needless to say none of of will be using best western or and of you affiliated hotels in the future. We all had reservations, plans for our vacations I couldn’t ever imagine customer service this terrible. And I don’t understand because all of us had given our credit card information, the only thing I can imagine is they were sold for more money then they quoted us for. So not only did the mess everyone’s vacations up they did it for a few bucks a room. Terrible

Steven was excellent at check-in and helped us with some additional needs.

The room that they gaves us the bed had been slept in and the toilet had pee and poop in it. When we went down to complain the guy acted as if we were inconveniencing him. Are you kiding me. Never again

Close to several restaurants, conveniently located, very friendly staff. The front desk ckerk gave me a clean blanket when I asked, housekeeping took my trash, and they will change the sheets on your bed each day upon request. I would definitely return in the future. It was a nice peaceful stay!

Very good place to stay close to many restaurants, just off interstate. Room was comfortable and I felt safe. Would stay again

Fantastic location

Comfortable and clean room perfect after a long day of traveling. Convenient restaurant nearby. Only issue is its mot easy to get to from the side of the highway heading east.

Hotel was nice inside. Outside around the building looked pretty rough and a little sketchy.

From the welcoming first impression at check-in to the very clean and comfortable accommodations to the very convenient location off I-70 at the Cambridge, OH exit and in close proximity to restaurants and other services, we had an enjoyable stay at this Best Western property. And we will return when passing through the area again.

It really pissed me off that your reakfst sucked sp bad..my wife went down for food at 9 AM they were out of waffle mi mix..when she asked an employee for more waffle mis he responded that he was a new person and did not know how to change it there was no biscuit small amount gravy. My wife was still hungry,...

Hotel was great, breakfast was not!!!! I stay in many hotels and probably the worst breakfast I’ve had. Nothing was stocked at all!! Just go to dennys or McDonald’s down the road.

Had to ask for toilet paper once we checked in as there were two hanging rolls. One was simply an empty roll and the other one was about a quarter of a roll left. Then we had to fix the fitted sheet on one of the beds as it was put on wrong. The small side was put on the long side of the queen bed and it kept coming off when we got into the bed. Since it was only one night we did not bring our own shampoo like we normally do and in the morning I realized they had two bottles of body wash but no shampoo. So I had to go get a shampoo in the morning. Then at breakfast, the orange juice and apple juice both had signs that they were out of order. The cranberry juice and water options did not have anything in it. There was not even any milk put out for the cereal. This was sometime between 7 - 7:30 in the morning when the breakfast started at 6:30. I did not see anyone even drinking coffee, so there may not have even been coffee to drink. Nothing to drink at all, until about the time I finished my breakfast when there was finally some milk put out. When I book hotels, I definitely look at the reviews and saw this one was Superb. So I have to assume that this was an off day for the person who cleaned our room right before our one night stay and the person who handled the breakfast that next morning. Otherwise, I do not see how this hotel got so many superb reviews.
