Overall very solid. Good location, nice common areas. While doesnt have the amenities of higher star hotels, they maximize what they have (free breakfast, coffee machine, wine hour, good laundry room). Street can be a bit noisy (sirens).

It was a nice surprise to find out on check in that there was free continental breakfast, donuts and coffee all day and free flow in the evening. Nice vibes in the lobby with a classy lounge area. Love this spot!

Very nice hotel, close to Shinjuku - about 10 min walk. Close to a few metro stations. Clean room, nice facilities, included breakfast (cereals, pastry, tea/coffee/juice). Free flow drinks in the lobby from 5 to 9 pm was a nice bonus. The staff at the hotel was great.

Everything about this hotel is super great. They have a nice happy hour time in between 5 to 9 PM daily. Front desk is helpful and nice. Laundry room was good and the password function is a big plus. Also, close by subway and not too far walk from JR as well. And is very close by lots of massage place so you can get a nice massage after a long day of shopping.

Positives: Excellent location, within 15min walk to the heart of Shinjuku but without being right in the chaos. Hotel has excellent amenities including lots of lounges/sitting areas in the lobby, laundry room, free water, and free snacks during the afternoon. The staff are fairly hands off but helpful when you need something. There is daily room servicing OR they give you clean towels if you opt not to have your room serviced. Overall an excellent option. There is no gym or pool.

Reasonable price, bathroom and room a bit small; but maybe not for Japanese standard. Water shower has great pressure. Location is in the quite area of busy Shinjuku. Easy to get around. Free pastries and drink with communal table is a great plus. Good ammenities available at the front desk.

We arrived back in Tokyo after a jaunt around Japan for our last leg. We were met with a free sake bar and treats with a lively lobby environment, but only to find that it was masking the poor conditions of the rooms. The carpets were full of stains and the walls unkept for an uncomfortable feel of the room. We ended up checking out within 30 min and found a better deal with nicer rooms 2 blocks away.

Great location. Nice lounge area. Has a great free breakfast and coffee and also a free happy hour with drinks each evening. Rooms are not nice. The entire hotel smells of mildew and mold. Our room was the worst. When you opened the door, the smell would hit you like a ton of bricks. You could still smell it hours later even after your nose got used to it. Spend the money somewhere else, would not recommend. Wish I could take a picture of a smell to share.

We had stayed in Kyoto before this and the hotel was spotless, whilst this was a lovely looking hotel but it was noticeably grubby. Floors in the reception and bedroom carpets were stained and even carpet in the lifts felt grubby. However the rest of the room was clean we found the room to be noisy from the road below, even though we were 6 floors up. Reception were very helpful and offered another room but we didn't take it as it was smaller and settled for better ear plugs instead. Location wise we found ourselves walking constantly to the station which was around a 12-15 min walk but if I did it again I'd stay closer as after a long day that extra walk is annoying.

Photos look beautiful but the reality is that only the lobby is like the photos, super dirty everywhere, the rooms extremely small and smell like mold, carpet is disgusting, walls are dirty. Price is good but is not worth it, rather pay a little more and be in a cleaner environment.

The location is wonderful. The rooms are SMALL. I was expecting to be able to comfortably walk between the bed and the wall. We could barely squeeze by. The breakfast was bare. The staff is not particularly friendly or helpful. We were hoping for minimal guodance from the front desk, but that was not the case.

Great location. Not too loud area in city. Shinjuku cross about a ten min walk. All staff was very helpful , friendly, and spoke English/ understood it well. Very accommodating to every ask we had. The standard queen room space was definitely too small. I had read this before booking ; just confirming it is very small. Bathroom as well. Somehow it is raised off the floor-almost like a porta potty- very small- but doable for people who travel light and are barely in the room when traveling.

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Modern, cool und sauber. Die Lounge-Atmosphäre hat uns gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind wie immer in Tokio sehr klein, aber es war für drei Personen völlig okay. Leider hatten wir vor unserem Fenster direkt das nächste Gebäude, ein Bürokomplex- man hätte sich gegenseitig Kaffee durch die Fenster reichen können… Die Fenster sind nicht dicht und der Straßenverkehr ist selbst bei geschlossenem Fenster extrem laut- auch noch im 7.Stock. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht nochmal buchen, trotz der coolen Atmosphäre und der prima Lage.

This was our first stop in Japan and it didn’t start too well. We booked a room for 4 people (which said that it could fit 5). The room was small, which was OK, but it could maximum fit 3 people. There was no way that they could squeeze an extra bed on there. When we did the booking we put in the ages of our kids (10yo + 15yo) and the staff said that we should have known from the size of the room, that it could fit 5 people if 2 was (very) small kids and would be able to sleep in the same single bed as the parents. We have travelled for years without having this issue and the staff did not try and solve it at all. They were very nice and understanding, but it seemed like they needed a manager present. I had to book an additional room, since no matter what we did, we would be able to stay in the room all of us. It has not been an issue in the hotels we stayed in after this.

We stayed at four hotels in 2 weeks, this was our least favourite. Hotel staff were not friendly, didn’t greet you or acknowledge us when entering. We were disappointed that they turned off the feature on the tv that would access Netflix, Prime etc and offered their VOD movies for $10 each. This is a basic service that most hotels should offer. Not that we were in the room much, but being able to stream helps winding down at the end of the day (especially with kids). Breakfast was all sweets, nice to have something - but consider it more of a snack. Overall this is a basic hotel but for the price would’ve expected more.

Female staff not so welcoming, felt the different treatments between Asian travellers and other foreign travellers, more friendly, helpful and welcoming towards US/EU travellers We did receive good service and treatments from male staff, they helped us with resto inquiry and bookings and were all very willing to help.

Not great The hotel is in much worse condition than photos on hotels.com indicate. Hotel was tired, service was poor, not because the staff were bad but because there were hardly any staff on shift at any time Buffet breakfast was messy and not nice Hotel is very noisy but from internal noise and from the outside world.

Great location, free Continental breakfast. awesome happy bat spread, with free wine and whiskey, donuts, individually wrapped smoked sausage and cheese - encouraged guests to mingle and there’s a sense of community on the premises.

This hotel was perfect - location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness, comfort…Also great perks with free pastry and coffee breakfast, free happy hour, free waters and umbrellas to borrow. Laundry was accessible and cheap. There were tons of restaurants in short walking distance and the subways/bus is within 5 minutes or less. I would highly recommend staying here.

Das Hotel ist komfortabel und sauber. Die Zimmer sind etwas kleiner, aber ausreichend groß. Die Lage ist super und praktisch. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das Frühstück, das sehr ungesund ist, da es nur Süßes und zu wenig Gemüse und Obst gibt.
