We love this little gem! My son and I look forward to staying here whenever we get to the mountains and we had a great time once again! The rooms are nice--spacious, clean, and comfortable. The upper pool is our new favorite spot now that we realized it's heated!! We hadn't used it before but we really loved it after a day in the park! We didn't want to come home and my son asked the whole way if we could just go back to the hotel!!

We love staying here in the quiet side of the smokies. They have two very nice swimming pools. A few good local restaurants near by. Elvira’s is amazing choice also Burger Master.

I booked this motel based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet and just a lovely little place tucked away in Townsend. We enjoyed swimming in the pool too.

Very nice spot with views and a great pool right outside. Quiet, clean, spacious, and a big balcony with rockers! We'll be back!!! Our only complaint was that the sink was slow to drain.

My mom & I traveled to Townsend for a wedding and stayed here for 2 nights. We absolutely loved our stay, the beds were comfortable, everyone was pleasant, and most importantly - the rooms were SO CLEAN!

The room was nice and cool, the pool was wonderful! The rooms are so quiet !This was our 2nd stay because we truly enjoyed our 1st stay. Our room wasn’t as clean as last time. The floor hadn’t been cleaned at all. Grass, dried mud and hair was everywhere. Our coffee tray hadn’t been cleaned nor had the microwave. We definitely will stay again but I will check the room first. Hope this was just an oversight.

This place is super clean, and the location is very convenient. It may look hum-drum when you drive up, but my room had a lovely balcony facing the mountains and two comfy rocking chairs. Great value!

There was a handheld shower head hanging in tub which did not work. The tub was black on bottom. The toilet barely flushed, i was always worried that it would back up. There were ants. The bathroom and front doors and knobs were filthy. I don’t think they have ever been cleaned.

Es ist nicht einfach, eine Bewertung für das River Breeze Inn in Townsend zu schreiben. Dies liegt daran, dass unser Zimmer eigentlich in Ordnung war, aber uns trotzdem nicht zufrieden stellen konnte. Die Unterkunft wirbt auf den Bildern vor allem mit dem modernen Bau auf dem Hügel. Es gibt allerdings noch ein weiteres, älteres Gebäude im Motelstil an der Straße. Fast alle der 39+ präsentierten Bilder zeigen den Neubau oder den Innenbereich. Lediglich auf zwei, weit hinten eingeordneten, Bildern ist das ältere Gebäude abgebildet. Natürlich war unser Zimmer in diesem Teil. Tatsächlich war es auf den ersten Blick völlig okay. Das Zimmer war groß, das Bett bequem und trotz der Straßennähe war es ruhig. Trotzdem waren wir wegen der Präsentation bei hotels.com enttäuscht. Hinzu kam die mangelnde Sauberkeit. Der Boden wurde offenbar nicht gereinigt, er war staubig. Auch im Bad wurde nicht richtig sauber gemacht. Zu den guten Seiten des Inn zählen die Nähe zum Nationalpark, die Restaurants in der Umgebung und das große Zimmer mit bequemen Bett. Wenn man mit der mangelnden Sauberkeit leben kann und ein Motel erwartet, ist das River Brezze Inn okay, aber zu teuer.

Nice quiet place. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Nothing fancy, but everything you need. I did appreciate the individual dehumidifier in our room because it did get humid and it made a huge difference. We had stayed a night in Kentucky and everything felt wet. Even the sheets and I think it was from the high humidity level. We did not have that issue here. The setting is beautiful however, the “Mountain View“ room really isn’t a Mountain View because there are trees that block your view, but it was still very nice. The rocking chairs on the patio of each room was a really nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a King Suite room with balcony. I would rate this place a 10/10 except for the mattress. The bed was so uncomfortable that we ended up sleeping on the pull out bed. -was clean-staff was friendly-very quite-nice balcony with rocking chairs-easy check in/out. Spoke to the housekeeper and learned they are renovating the lower rooms soon and they have better mattresses, so we will stay here again.

This is a really cute motor lodge-style motel in a beautiful area. Some of the amenities feel outdated (bathroom), but the room was very clean. The bed, however, was horribly uncomfortable. Price felt steep but seemed comparable to other lodging nearby.

I loved being at the hotel, the rooms was clean and I do a check for bed bugs found none not one! View was great. The house keeper was there and I told her about the microwave smelling like burnt wires she called and changed it out. She was really nice joked and went on with us.

Some updates but otherwise a quaint motel experience from decades past. The owner helped us find the motel and even talked us to the parking lot. Friendly and knowledgeable about area restaurants and all the local roads that a person might lost on.

Property was nice. Problem is I paid extra for a balcony room so we'd have someplace to sit outside. People below us and next to us we're heavy smokers and we could not enjoy the balcony. Really not fair for a non-smoker to sit there and have to deal with that. Told the lady at the front desk and she just kind of shrugged.

We wanted lodging closer to Cades Cove and the Townsend River Breeze Inn was. It is an older but very quaint establishment. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This motel was very cozy and affordable. I wasn't sure about having an exterior corridor, but the location eased my mind. The cleaning crew did a fantastic job and the lady at the front desk was delightful. Townsend is the best kept secretbin the Smokies.

The management were very accommodating when we called to say we would be checking in late at night. The room was very clean with it's own entrance. It was a quaint small motel, at a very reasonable price. I wish you could find more motels like this one. We loved it and would stay there again. I highly recommend this little place.
