Great location. Very clean. I didn’t like that most rooms are located next to the elevators. I stayed from one room over from the elevator and didn’t hear it in the night so I got lucky. The valet service is horrible. It took over 20 minutes to get my car and cost nearly $70. Absolutely insane. I’d expect less than 10 minutes for that price. I’d recommended using a parking garage around the city, plenty of options around the hotel.

Good downtown location and nice food options on-site, especially the coffee cafe in the lobby area. Rooms are smaller (more NY-style) but I didn’t mind that for a weekend stay to explore the city. Hotel is very clean. Lobby is a gathering area where people hang out and mingle. Bullard Tavern has good food and drink and a nice Happy Hour. Rooms are small (for 3 adults), but comfortable and functional once we got two suitcase racks. There are no closets, just a rack to hang clothes. We made it work. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Got early check in and bags stored when leaving. Location is PERFECT. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and attractions. HIGHLY Recommended!

Room was clean and ready at check-in time. This hotel is in a historic building with tastefully remodeled rooms. Some might find the standard king room small but we weren’t bothered by it, having just two small suitcases. There was no city noise at night from our room location. Front desk area doubled as a coffee lounge which was nice. Staff and valet were all courteous. We would stay here again.

There was a stray hair under the pillow in my room when I arrived and the coffee table was dirty. I asked to switch to a clean room and was moved down the hall to a room with a dirty toilet. Unacceptable!! Do not stay here if you value cleanliness

this hotel is lovely. rooms and public spaces are gorgeous and staff is kind and attentive. my only complaint is the lack of bed comfort - for such a stunning hotel, i was surprised (and disappointed) that the sheets were essentially the texture of construction paper. not soft at all and definitely made for uncomfortable sleep.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at this hotel. The room, although on the compact side, it was very clean. Perhaps the only comment would be around the building noises during the night and that you hear very clear whenever someone walked by talking on the corridor given the room's layout.

We love the woodlark! It’s our favorite place to stay for a couples trip to PDX. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable, both the bar and coffee shop downstairs are super cute. There is easy parking a block up and the area is walkable.

Beautiful hotel, cramped room with a pole in the middle of it...had to store my suitcase under the bed! Great bathroom and shower. Loved working in the downstairs lobby, which had the best coffee! I'd consider staying here again, but would book a larger room.

Nice place but for the price would at least like storage in the room. Room was very small and simple. No dresser at all or drawer in the bathroom. Had to put all our stuff on the floor. The best part was the bed, it was very comfortable and everything was clean. The hotel did also provide a bottle of champagne for my husband and I because we were in our honeymoon.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at every turn. When I checked in, they offered dining recommendations and suggestions about local hikes; on my second night, I wandered down to the lobby after tossing and turning due to pain in my shoulder, the front desk staffer supplied me with ibuprofen from his person stash, and made a cup of tea. Jeremy really went above and beyond, and thanks for his kindness I was able to finally fall asleep. Would absolutely stay again on future trips to Portland.

Great property! Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and cams of water were provided. The valet/doormen were pleasant and always friendly. The coffee shop in the lobby was really convenient as well. Great location, easily walkable to fantastic shopping and dining options. The second hand store on the corner was a fun place to shop too. Uber/lyft was always just a few minutes out. Nothing negative about this hotel or its location. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was centrally located. The staff needed more training. They did not make clear what was included in the rate, that we had a credit for the restaurant. It also took about an hour to get our car from valet. The room is small but bathroom was spacious: I just wish the shower head was less painful and more of a gentle rain shower.

They charged me double for my room and I couldn’t do anything in the city because of it. Had no access to my money and still don’t. The room the entire wall where the headboard was no outlets worked to charge anything. Next door there was construction in room 621 it was an adjoining room so we kept thinking someone was breaking in and the room was propped open the entire time. The staff was nice enough but only in person not great on the phone. Which the phone in the room 620 didn’t work I told them night one and it didn’t work day 3 still. So hopefully if you stay don’t have any issues. Will and David were great my first night! I got charged for double my full stay after night one. Expedia charged and then the hotel charged me. Completely ruined my partners 40th bday trip.

We tried to enjoy our stay, was only for one night so some of the issues weren’t a huge problem. We stayed in a loft suite- which was very clean and comfortable. But unfortunately the hotel had a resort fee, but had absolutely no amenities. No water in our room, no phone, no room service, and the one time we asked for something was for some glasses- they never showed and had to go back down stairs after an hour to just get them ourselves. No phone to call, we thought was really odd. I also got back to the room before my husband to sleep, he ended up having to call me to wake me up at 2am because he had been sitting on the lobby for over an hour because there was no one to help him with a room key. We understand times are difficult and many places are short staffed currently, but seems unacceptable for paying almost 300 dollars for only a night.

Great place to stay. Great service and bar lounge. Great interior design. The surrounding area however is ground zero for the homeless roaming around and shooting up. Does not feel safe once you step outside. The hotels and businesses around need to do something about the druggies. This city used to have a charm and it’s unfortunate the downtown has declined into a shanty town.

This is a wonderful hotel. We had some issues which were managed quickly and professionally which actually made us appreciate the hotel more. Great location, super vibe, very friendly and helpful staff. Before arriving we got the sense that it was in a dangerous area. Not the case! It is in a beautiful part of the old town, very charming and close to great sites, shopping and restaurants. This is a really great place to stay in Portland. However they use a 3rd party parking company that charges $50 for overnight valet plus $2 technology fee and then push you for a 15/20+ Tip. Then to add insult, they charge you another $52+ after 10:00 the next morning to get your car out regardless of when you arrived. And then, their parking app to request dies not work after you paid every day for a technology fee. The parking staff however are very friendly and helpful. Love the hotel, but they need a better parking partner.

Can’t say enough good things about the Woodlark Hotel. It is beautifully decorated with staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Great coffee bar in the lobby with a wide variety of very special coffee and tea drinks. Breakfast at Abigail Hall is not to be missed.

Lock on bathroom broken, dirty sheets, no remote control in room. The restaurant added items to the bill that were not ordered. And the food wasn’t as good as we hoped. The location was great but the experience was horrible within the property
